Claims (2)
- 軸方向中間部が大径部に形成されると共に、該大径部よりも軸方向両端部がそれぞれ小径部に形成され、該小径部の端部にスプラインが形成された中空状動力伝達シャフトの製造方法において、
パイプ素材に絞り加工を施して、前記大径部と小径部とを有する中空状シャフト素材を形成し、
内周にスプライン成形部を有し、該スプライン成形部の最大径が、前記中空状シャフト素材の小径部の端部外径よりも大きく、かつ、該スプライン成形部の最小径が、前記中空状シャフト素材の小径部の端部外径よりも小さなダイスを用意し、
前記ダイスのスプライン成形部に前記シャフト素材の小径部の端部を軸方向に圧入して、該端部にスプラインを成形することを特徴とする中空状動力伝達シャフトの製造方法。 - 前記スプラインの成形時に、前記スプラインの最大径が前記ダイスのスプライン成形部の最大径に接触しないことを特徴とする請求項1記載の中空状動力伝達シャフトの製造方法。
