Description
a.サルビア・スクラレア種子、
b.本質的に純粋な形態のサルビア・スクラレア種子油、
c.サルビア・スクラレア種子の抽出物、
d.サルビア・スクラレア種子を粉砕または微粉砕して形成した細粉または粉末、及び
e.サルビア・スクラレア種子パルプ
から選択される構成物を活性成分として含む食品サプリメントとして使用するための組成物に関する。
1)種子を粉砕し、圧搾することにより実施される“冷間圧搾”、上清中に存在する油性フラクションを集めるための圧搾種子の遠心、及び場合により当業界で公知の各種手段による(例えば、フィルターを用い、沈殿を集める等による)精製、
2)最初に油を溶解し、その後熱及び/または真空を加えることにより蒸発する揮発性疎水性溶媒の使用、
3)極低温での液体CO2または液体窒素の使用(“超臨界抽出”)
が含まれる。

から選択される構成物を含む栄養剤組成物に関する。
a.サルビア・スクラレア種子、
b.本質的に純粋な形態のサルビア・スクラレア種子油、
c.サルビア・スクラレア種子の抽出物、
d.サルビア・スクラレア種子を粉砕または微粉砕して形成した細粉または粉末、及び
e.サルビア・スクラレア種子パルプ
から選択される構成物から構成されている。
1.サルビア・スクラレアの全種子を含む食品:グラノーラ様シリアル、グラノーラ様スネークバー、雌鶏や雌ウシ用飼料。水に浸漬させた後全種子は全粒パン、ロールパン、クラッカー、ビスケット等に使用され得る;
2.サルビア・スクラレア種子を粉砕または微粉砕して生成した細粉または粉末:グラノーラ様シリアル、グラノーラ様スネークバー、雌鶏や雌ウシ用飼料、全粒パン、ロールパン、クラッカー、ビスケット、パスタや他のベークド製品。細粉/粉末はグレービー、スープ、ディップ、ドレッシングや通常濃化剤として幾つかの種類の細粉を含む他の調製食品中に濃化剤として使用され得る;
3.サルビア・スクラレア油:オイリーペーストまたはディップ(テヒニ,フムス)中、油及びペースト(例えば、ゴマ油またはゴマペースト)中、他の植物油、マーガリンまたはマーガリン様スプレッド、サラダドレッシング、魚油、キャビア様製品等に配合される;
4.パルプ(脱脂種子細粉):繊維含量が高いので低カロリー(ダイエット)のベークド製品(食パン、ロールパン)を調製するため及び繊維、タンパク質及びミネラル含量の高いダイエット飲料及びシェークを調製するためにも適している。
産卵雌鶏にダイエタリーサプリメントとして投与したときのサルビア・スクラレア種子油の毒性並びに雌鶏の体脂肪及び産んだ卵の卵黄中のω−3脂肪酸のレベルを調べるために実験を実施した。
上表1〜4に示した分析に従って、1日あたり100gのサルビア・スクラレア種子は、約50% ω−3 ALA、25% オレイン酸を含有し、ω3:ω6比が3.4:1の優れた脂肪酸プロフィールで、必須アミノ酸に関する米国RDAのすべて(ただし、非常に低量のメチオニンを除く)を含む所要タンパク質の約40〜50%及び油脂に関する1日推奨値の約40%(1日食あたり2000カロリーをベースとする)を供給する。
サルビア・スクラレアを細粉に粉砕し、油酸化(酸敗)を防止し且つ製品の貯蔵寿命を延長させるために天然酸化剤と混合し、その後ダイエット用の栄養的にバランスのとれた粉末ドリンクミックス、バー及び低カロリー/低炭水化物のベークド製品中に成分として配合する。
サルビア・スクラレアを細粉に粉砕し、全種子と部分的に混合し、天然結合剤及び繊維と共に他の穀粉(例えば、小麦、大麦、大豆またはコーン)を配合し、調理用押出機により朝食シリアル用フレークやスナック用の他の形に押し出し、その後フレーバー及びスパイスを添加し、油をコートし、サルビア・スクラレアω−3に富む植物油と混合した油中で焼いた(または、揚げた)。
サルビア・スクラレア全種子を水、或いは他の適当な液体またはマリナードに浸すことにより予処理し、その後低カロリーの栄養的に強化したベークド製品に調製する。例えば、1実施態様では、一般的なパン100gあたり250カロリーのエネルギーを40%低減させてダイエットパン100gあたり150カロリーとする。同様に、丸パン、ロールパン、ビスケット、ベーグルでもカロリーは実質的に低減される。ω−3に富む低カロリーの強化ベークド製品はファーストフードチェーン(ホットドッグやハンバーバー用丸パン)、サンドイッチ等にも適している。
サルビア・スクラレア種子油を種子から抽出し、他の油、植物性タンパク質、水、天然乳化/安定化成分と混合し、その後ホモジナイザーにより均質化し、トランス脂肪酸を含まず、飽和脂肪が非常に少なく、ω−3及びオレイン脂肪酸を多く含むバター−マーガリン様フレーバー入りスプレッドに形成する。
タンパク質、ω−3油及び可溶性繊維に富むサルビア・スクラレア種子をローストし、独占権を持つ装置により非常に細かいペーストに粉砕する。このペーストは、グレービー、スープ及び多くの東洋及びインド料理(例えば、肉またはベジタリアン用サテ、カレー、ホムス等)を濃化するために使用され得る高栄養価ベースとしてそのまま包装してもよい。
サルビア・スクラレア全種子を洗浄し、塩、酸調節剤、天然酸化防止剤、天然フレーバー及び天然着色剤を含む水溶液中に浸漬する。浸漬時間は所望の調製物に応じて異なる。浸漬した種子から余分の溶液を十分に排水させる。
サルビア・スクラレア種子を微粉砕し、異なる比率で魚飼料調製物に混合する。
ω−3 ALAに富むサルビア・スクラレア種子油を種子から抽出する。この油をオリーブ油及びモノ不飽和脂肪酸及びω−6脂肪酸に富む他の植物油と混合し、油混合物を酸化から防止し、使用者に対して有効な酸化防止剤(例えば、ビタミンE、ビタミンC等)を与える天然の独占権を持つ酸化防止剤で栄養価を高める。
Claims (19)
- (a)サルビア・スクラレア(Salvia sclarea)種子、(b)本質的に純粋な形態のサルビア・スクラレア種子油、(c)サルビア・スクラレア種子からの抽出物、(d)粉砕または微粉砕して形成した細粉または粉末のサルビア・スクラレア種子、及び(e)サルビア・スクラレア種子パルプから選択される物質を活性成分として含む食品サプリメントとして使用するための組成物。
- 本質的に、(a)サルビア・スクラレア種子、(b)本質的に純粋な形態のサルビア・スクラレア種子油、(c)サルビア・スクラレア種子からの抽出物、(d)サルビア・スクラレア種子を粉砕または微粉砕して形成した細粉または粉末、及び(e)サルビア・スクラレア種子パルプから選択される物質から構成される請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 更に、消費するのに適した担体をも含む請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 請求項1に記載の組成物であって、前記構成物が(b)であり、前記本質的に純粋な形態のサルビア・スクラレア種子油が;
(a)サルビア・スクラレア種子を粉砕し、圧搾すること;および
(b)粉砕し、圧搾された種子の油性相を分離すること;
により得られる組成物。 - 請求項4に記載の組成物であって、(b)の工程の後に更に
(c)前記(b)で分離された油性相を精製すること;
を具備する組成物。 - 請求項4または5に記載の組成物であって、前記(b)の工程において、前記油性相が、粉砕され、圧搾された種子を遠心し、上清を回収することにより得られる組成物。
- 請求項4または5に記載の組成物であって、前記(b)の工程において、前記油性相が、揮発性溶媒で抽出され、その後当該溶媒を熱または真空または熱および真空の組み合わせを適用することにより蒸発させることにより得られる組成物。
- 請求項4または5に記載の組成物であって、前記(b)の工程において、前記油が液体CO2または液体窒素の使用により分離される組成物。
- (a)サルビア・スクラレア種子、
(b)本質的に純粋な形態のサルビア・スクラレア種子油、
(c)サルビア・スクラレア種子からの抽出物、
(d)粉砕または微粉砕して形成した細粉または粉末のサルビア・スクラレア種子及び、
(e)サルビア・スクラレア種子パルプ
から選択される物質の組成物の食物サプリメントの製造のための使用。 - 栄養剤的に許容される担体と、活性成分として
(a)サルビア・スクラレア種子、
(b)本質的に純粋な形態のサルビア・スクラレア種子油、
(c)サルビア・スクラレア種子からの抽出物、
(d)粉砕または微粉砕して形成した細粉または粉末のサルビア・スクラレア種子、及び
(e)サルビア・スクラレア種子パルプ
から選択される物質とを含む栄養剤組成物。 - 治療上有益な効果が少なくとも1つのオメガ−3脂肪酸のレベルの上昇により明白となり得る疾患または障害を治療するための請求項10に記載の栄養剤組成物。
- 化粧品上許容され得る担体及び活性成分として本質的に純粋な形態のサルビア・スクラレア種子油を含む化粧品組成物。
- 本質的に純粋な形態のサルビア・スクラレア種子油の栄養剤組成物の製造のための使用。
- 前記栄養剤組成物が、治療上有益な効果が少なくとも1つのオメガ−3脂肪酸のレベルの上昇により明白となり得る疾患または障害を治療するためのものである請求項13に記載の使用。
- 請求項1に記載の食品サプリメントを含む食品。
- サルビア・スクラレアの種子全体を含み、食品がグラノーラ様シリアル、グラノーラ様スネークバー、雌鳥用飼料、ウシ用飼料、全粒パン、ロールパン、クラッカー及びビスケットから選択される請求項15に記載の食品。
- 粉砕または微粉砕して生じた細粉/粉末のサルビア・スクラレア種子を含み、前記食品がグラノーラ様シリアル、グラノーラ様スネークバー、雌鳥,雌牛または魚用飼料、全粒パン、ロールパン、クラッカー、ビスケット、パスタ及び他のベークド製品;グレービー、スープ、ディップ、ドレッシングまたは他の調製食品中から選択される請求項15に記載の食品。
- サルビア・スクラレア種子油を含み、前記食品がオイリーペーストまたはディップ、テヒニ、フムス、ゴマ油またはゴマペースト中の油及びペースト、マーガリン、マーガリン様スプレッド、サラダドレッシング、魚油、キャビア様製品から選択される請求項15に記載の食品。
- サルビア・スクラレアパルプを含み、前記食品が低カロリーのベークド製品、低カロリーのドリンク及び低カロリーのシェークから選択される請求項15に記載の食品。
