Description
前記貫通孔が開口する両端面のうち少なくともいずれか一方の端面に、前記貫通孔から前記溝のすべてに気体が流通可能な凹部が設けられ、
前記内歯と、前記凹部と、他端面における前記凹部に対する対称部位とに、浸炭処理が施されたことを特徴とする。
前記成形体として、前記貫通孔が開口する両端面のうち少なくともいずれか一方の端面に、前記貫通孔と前記溝のすべてとに連通して気体が流通可能な凹部を設けたものを作製する工程と、
複数個の前記成形体の前記貫通孔に、前記凹部が設けられた端面が同一方向に臨むようにして基台に立設された軸部材を通すことにより、前記成形体同士を積層する工程と、
積層された前記成形体を熱処理炉内で加熱するとともに、前記熱処理炉内に浸炭剤を供給し、前記成形体の前記溝又は前記貫通孔から前記凹部を経由した該浸炭剤を、前記貫通孔又は前記溝から排出させる工程と、
を有し、
前記溝又は前記貫通孔を経由して前記凹部に到達した浸炭剤により、前記内歯と、前記凹部と、該凹部が設けられた前記成形体に隣接する別の前記成形体の端面とに対して浸炭処理を施すことを特徴とする。

Claims (3)
- 内周壁に内歯が形成された貫通孔が設けられ、且つ側周壁に複数個の溝が設けられることによって前記溝同士の間に突出した突出部が存在する成形体に対して浸炭処理を施して有内歯部材とする有内歯部材の製造方法であって、
前記成形体として、前記貫通孔が開口する両端面のうち少なくともいずれか一方の端面に、前記貫通孔と前記溝のすべてとに連通して気体が流通可能な凹部を設けたものを作製する工程と、
複数個の前記成形体の前記貫通孔に、前記凹部が設けられた端面が同一方向に臨むようにして基台に立設された軸部材を通すことにより、前記成形体同士を積層する工程と、
積層された前記成形体を熱処理炉内で加熱するとともに、前記熱処理炉内に浸炭剤を供給し、前記成形体の前記溝又は前記貫通孔から前記凹部を経由した該浸炭剤を、前記貫通孔又は前記溝から排出させる工程と、
を有し、
前記溝又は前記貫通孔を経由して前記凹部に到達した浸炭剤により、前記内歯と、前記凹部と、該凹部が設けられた前記成形体に隣接する別の前記成形体の端面とに対して浸炭処理を施すことを特徴とする有内歯部材の製造方法。 - 請求項1記載の製造方法において、前記浸炭処理が終了した後、複数個の前記成形体を積層した状態で冷却用媒体に浸漬し、前記冷却用媒体を、前記貫通孔又は前記溝から前記凹部を介して前記溝又は前記貫通孔まで流通させることを特徴とする有内歯部材の製造方法。
- 請求項1又は2記載の製造方法において、前記有内歯部材として、等速ジョイントのインナ部材を作製することを特徴とする有内歯部材の製造方法。
