Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a power supply control device that can easily perform control of turning off power when a currently viewed program ends using program information.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As an apparatus using conventional program information, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 09-65270 is proposed, and an apparatus for easily recording a program by checking the date / start time / end time / channel of a desired program from guide information. An example is described.
[0003]
The configuration and operation of Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 09-65270 will be described with reference to FIG. In FIG. 4, program information including date, channel, start time, end time, etc. is acquired from the program information signal received by the receiving device 401 using the demodulation circuit 402 and the decoding circuit 403, and the control circuit 405 receives the input. The present invention relates to an apparatus for making a recording reservation in a storage unit 404 based on a program designated by means 406 and program information.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the present invention uses the information on the channel, date, program start and end included in the program information as a group, and is intended for reservation viewing / recording reservation of the target program. It is not intended to control the power supply at the end of the viewing program by mainly using information about the end. The present invention is similar to the off-timer function, but the existing one can be set in a fixed unit such as 30 minutes, 60 minutes, 90 minutes, etc. prepared in advance, or can be freely set in 1 minute units. However, in order to make a setting such that the power is turned off at the end of the program currently being viewed at an arbitrary time, it is necessary to calculate the time until the end of the program. Further, when the program organization is changed and the end time of the program being viewed is changed, there is a problem that it is not possible to cope with this.
[0005]
In order to solve the above problems, the power control device of the present invention includes a playback unit that plays back a program from a storage medium that stores the program and information indicating the end of the program, and a request for automatically turning off the power from the viewer. An input receiving unit for receiving a signal, a signal detecting unit for detecting information indicating the end of the program at the time of program reproduction, and a signal detection when the input receiving unit receives a request to automatically turn off the power. And a control unit that turns off the power supply of the power supply device when the unit detects information indicating the end of the program.
[0006]
The present invention is configured so that the power can be automatically turned off when the program being viewed by the viewer ends, and the program transmitted by the broadcast station superimposed on the radio wave The information signal is received by the receiving device, and the decoding circuit decodes the signal to extract program information. Here, the program information includes program content information including the broadcast date, channel, program title, start time, end time, content, and other characteristics of a program, and a tag indicating the program channel and program end. Assume that there are two types of program end information.
[0007]
The end of the program being viewed is detected from these program information, and is not limited to a predetermined fixed time unit such as 30 minutes or 60 minutes as in the past, and the end of the program being viewed from the current time There is no need to calculate the time until the time and set the off timer, and the power can be automatically turned off at the end of the program. Also, when program information transmitted from a broadcasting station indicating the end of a program is used, even if the program organization is changed for some reason (such as an extended broadcast of a professional baseball broadcast program), the end of the program is correctly detected and the power is turned off. It becomes possible.
[0008]
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3.
[0009]

[0010]
The operation of the power supply control apparatus configured as described above will be described below.
In FIG. 1, a receiving apparatus 101 receives a television broadcast radio wave, and a demodulating apparatus 102 separates a video / audio signal and a program information signal. The decoding device 103 decodes the program information from the program information signal and records the channel, program title, start time, end time, and content in the nonvolatile memory 104.
[0011]
Now, when trying to use the off-timer function to automatically turn off the power at the end of the program being viewed from the input receiving means when the viewer watches a certain program, the viewer selects the preset time. You have to choose an appropriate one or calculate and input the time until the end of the program.
[0012]
In order to avoid the troublesome setting when the power is automatically turned off at the end of the program, the power supply device 108 is turned off when the clock 107 matches the program end time included in the program information. Good.
[0013]
Therefore, when the control circuit 105 receives an input from the viewer that the power is automatically turned off at the end of the program from the input receiving means 106, the control circuit 105 checks the program information of the currently viewed program from the nonvolatile memory 104. Get end time. It is periodically checked whether or not the end time coincides with the time of the clock 107, or the time until the end of the program is calculated and counted down. When the remaining time becomes 0, the power supply device 108 is turned off. . In this way, the viewer can easily perform an operation of automatically turning off the power at the end of the program.
[0014]

In FIG. 2, a receiving device 201 receives a television broadcast radio wave, a demodulation circuit 202 separates it into a video / audio signal and a program information signal, and a decoding device 203 converts the television broadcast radio wave when a currently broadcast program ends. Program information indicating that the program has ended is decoded.
[0016]
When the viewer tries to use the off-timer function to automatically turn off the power at the end of the program being viewed by the input receiving means 2 when viewing a certain program, the viewer selects a preset time. There was no choice but to choose an appropriate one or calculate and input the time until the end of the program. Also, when the program organization changed dynamically, the power could not be turned off simultaneously with the end of the program.
[0017]
In order to avoid the above problem, the power supply device 206 may be turned off when the program information indicating the end of the program is received.
[0018]
Therefore, when the control circuit 204 receives an input requesting that the power be automatically turned off at the end of the program from the input receiving means 205, if the received program information indicating the end of the program is the end information of the currently viewed program. For example, by turning off the power supply device 206, the viewer can easily perform an operation of automatically turning off the power at the end of the program.
[0019]
(Embodiment 3)
FIG. 3 is a block diagram of a power supply control device according to an embodiment of the present invention.
In FIG. 3, reference numeral 301 denotes a reproduction device, 302 denotes a signal detection device, 303 denotes a control device, 304 denotes input reception means, and 305 denotes a power supply device.
