従来より、運送会社において、クレジットカード会社等の「カード入り封筒」を配送する場合は、セキュリティ管理上の理由により、ビニールケースに入れて配送中継拠点（着店）まで送ることが多い。すなわち、「カード入り封筒」を、配送先の配送中継拠点ごとにまとめてビニールケースに入れ、このビニールケースに配送伝票を添付して、送付する。配送中継拠点では、受け取ったビニールケースから「カード入り封筒」を取り出して、ビニールケースは、折り畳んでカード発送所に返却する。このように、ビニールケースは、何度も繰り返して「カード入り封筒」の配送に使用されている。
