Description
昇圧から降圧までの広い出力電圧範囲全域で誤差増幅回路を安定させるための位相補償回路の定数を設定することが困難であるという課題を有していた。また、昇降圧スイッチングレギュレータの用途によっては、昇圧と降圧とで設定したい位相補償定数が異なる場合があり、使用条件が制限されてしまうという課題を有していた。本発明の目的は従来のこのような課題を解決するために考案されたものであり、昇圧から降圧までの幅広い出力電圧範囲で安定な誤差増幅回路を実現した昇降圧スイッチングレギュレータ制御回路及び昇降圧スイッチングレギュレータを提供するものである。

Claims (2)
- 入力電圧を所定の出力電圧に昇圧、または降圧して出力する昇降圧スイッチングレギュレータであって、
前記出力電圧に基づいた電圧と基準電圧を入力し、それらを比較した結果を増幅した電圧Verrを出力する誤差増幅回路と、
三角波を出力する発振回路と、
前記電圧Verrと前記三角波とを元に前記入力電圧を昇圧するための昇圧用比較回路と、
前記電圧Verrと前記三角波とを元に前記入力電圧を降圧するための降圧用比較回路と、
前記誤差増幅回路の動作を安定に保つための複数の位相補償回路と、
前記複数の位相補償回路のうちの一つまたは複数を選択する選択回路と、を備え、
前記選択回路は、前記電圧Verrを検出して、前記昇圧時と前記降圧時とで前記複数の位相補償回路を切り替えることを特徴とする昇降圧スイッチングレギュレータ制御回路。 - 請求項1に記載の昇降圧スイッチングレギュレータ制御回路と、
前記昇圧用比較回路の出力信号で制御される昇圧用スイッチと、
前記降圧用比較回路の出力信号で制御される降圧用スイッチと、
前記昇圧用スイッチ及び前記降圧用スイッチで制御されるコイルと、
を設けたことを特徴とする昇降圧スイッチングレギュレータ。
