Description
上記噴孔を開閉するニードルに圧力を作用させる制御室と、
該制御室へ作動液体となる液体燃料を供給する作動液体供給通路と、
上記制御室への液体燃料の流出入を制御する電気式切替弁と、
上記噴孔へ高圧気体燃料を供給する高圧気体燃料供給通路とを備え、
上記ノズル内の高圧気体燃料に晒される上記ニードルの摺動部および弁部に、上記作動液体供給通路から潤滑用の液体燃料を導入する潤滑用液体燃料供給通路を設け、
上記ノズル先端部内の上記高圧気体燃料供給通路に、上記作動液体供給通路から着火用の液体燃料を導入する着火用液体燃料供給通路を設けて、
上記潤滑用液体燃料供給通路を、
一端側が上記作動液体供給通路に連通し他端側が上記ニードルのガイド部が摺動する摺動穴に開口する第1の潤滑用液体燃料供給通路と、
上記ニードル内に設けられ、一端側が上記ニードルのガイド部外周面に開口して上記第1の潤滑用液体燃料供給通路に連通し他端側が上記ニードルのシート部上流側に開口する第2の潤滑用液体燃料供給通路にて構成するとともに、
上記着火用液体燃料供給通路を、上記ニードルのシート部下流側に開口させて、上記ニードルの開弁時に高圧気体燃料とともに着火用の液体燃料を噴射可能としたものである。
さらに、この液体燃料を上記ニードルの先端部に導入することで、ニードル開弁時に高速となる気体燃料で搬送して、機関燃焼室内で自着火させ、着火性の低い気体燃料の着火源とすることができる。よって、機関1気筒あたり1本のインジェクタで、安定した運転が可能となり、装置構成が大幅に簡素化されるので、実用性に優れる。
図2、図3は本実施形態のインジェクタ1の全体構成を示す縦断面図で、図1にその主要部であるノズル3の拡大断面図を示す。図2は、ノズル3を駆動するための制御室2に供給される作動液体の流通経路を、図3は、ノズル3から噴射される高圧気体燃料の供給経路を示している。高圧気体燃料としては、例えば、水素燃料等が用いられ、作動液体としては、液体燃料、例えば軽油等を用いることができる。図4は、インジェクタ1の平面図で図2のC矢視図であり、図4のA−A断面、B−B断面が、それぞれ図2、図3となっている。

Claims (7)
- 高圧気体燃料をノズル先端に設けた噴孔から機関燃焼室に噴射するインジェクタであって、
上記噴孔を開閉するニードルに圧力を作用させる制御室と、
該制御室へ作動液体となる液体燃料を供給する作動液体供給通路と、
上記制御室への液体燃料の流出入を制御する電気式切替弁と、
上記噴孔へ高圧気体燃料を供給する高圧気体燃料供給通路とを備え、
上記ノズル内の高圧気体燃料に晒される上記ニードルの摺動部および弁部に、上記作動液体供給通路から潤滑用の液体燃料を導入する潤滑用液体燃料供給通路と、
上記ノズル先端部内の上記高圧気体燃料供給通路に、上記作動液体供給通路から着火用の液体燃料を導入する着火用液体燃料供給通路を設けて、
上記潤滑用液体燃料供給通路を、
一端側が上記作動液体供給通路に連通し他端側が上記ニードルのガイド部が摺動する摺動穴に開口する第1の潤滑用液体燃料供給通路と、
上記ニードル内に設けられ、一端側が上記ニードルのガイド部外周面に開口して上記第1の潤滑用液体燃料供給通路に連通し他端側が上記ニードルのシート部上流側に開口する第2の潤滑用液体燃料供給通路にて構成するとともに、
上記着火用液体燃料供給通路を、上記ニードルのシート部下流側に開口させて、上記ニードルの開弁時に高圧気体燃料とともに着火用の液体燃料を噴射可能としたことを特徴とするインジェクタ。 - 上記第2の潤滑用液体燃料供給通路は、上記ニードルの開閉弁に伴って上記第1の潤滑用液体燃料供給通路との連通・遮断が切り換えられる構成となっている請求項1記載のインジェクタ。
- 上記ニードルのシート部上流側に周方向溝を形成して、該周方向溝に上記第2の潤滑用液体燃料供給通路を開口させた請求項2記載のインジェクタ。
- 上記着火用液体燃料供給通路を、上記ニードル内に設けられ、一端側が上記作動液体供給通路に連通し他端側が上記ニードルのシート部近傍に開口する通路にて構成し、上記噴孔へ向かう高圧気体噴流のもつエネルギーを利用して着火用の液体燃料を噴射する請求項1ないし3のいずれか記載のインジェクタ。
- 上記着火用液体燃料供給通路の上記一端側を、上記ニードルの上記ガイド部に開口させて、上記潤滑用液体燃料供給通路を介して上記作動液体供給通路に連通させた請求項4記載のインジェクタ。
- 上記ニードルのシート部下流側に周方向溝を形成して、該周方向溝に上記着火用液体燃料供給通路を開口させた請求項5記載のインジェクタ。
- 上記第2の潤滑用液体燃料供給通路を、
上記一端側が上記着火用液体燃料供給通路と共通のニードル内燃料通路を経て上記ニードルのガイド部外周面に開口し、上記第1の潤滑用液体燃料供給通路に連通する構成とした請求項5または6記載のインジェクタ。
