Claims (3)
- 遮蔽容器と、
この遮蔽容器内にピークパワーが1MW〜25MWとなるジャイアントパルス発振方式でレーザ光を出力するレーザ発振器と、
前記遮蔽容器内に配置され、前記レーザ発振器が出力するレーザ光を集光する集光レンズと、
前記遮蔽容器内で、前記集光レンズによるレーザ光の集光点より後方にステップインデックス型光ファイバの入射端面を配置し、前記レーザ光を拡散性として光ファイバの入射端面に入射させる光ファイバ位置調整機構と、
前記集光レンズによるレーザ光の集光点付近での雰囲気ガスの電離によるエアーブレークダウンの発生を抑制するよう前記遮蔽容器内の雰囲気ガスを換気する換気手段と
を具備していることを特徴とする光ファイバ用レーザ光入射光学装置。 - 換気手段は、遮蔽容器内に雰囲気ガスを導入する導入口、遮蔽容器内の雰囲気ガスを排気する排気口、これら導入口および排気口に取り付けられた防塵フィルタを備えている
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の光ファイバ用レーザ光入射光学装置。 - 換気手段の導入口および排気口は、集光レンズによるレーザ光の集光点を介在して対向する
ことを特徴とする請求項2記載の光ファイバ用レーザ光入射光学装置。
