Description
Claims (2)
- ノズルからインクを放出するプリントヘッドと、
印刷媒体に向かう方向から外れた方向に流れるインクを吸収する捕捉用多孔部材と、
前記捕捉用多孔部材と前記ノズルとの間に設けられ、インク流方向とは異なる方向に気体を流通させる気体流室と、
前記ノズルから前記気体流室へと至る領域に設けられ、インク流を挟むよう配置された2つのインク吸収面を形成し、印刷媒体に向かう方向から外れた方向に流れるインクを吸収するノズル近傍多孔部材と、
を備え、
前記2つのインク吸収面は、
前記ノズルから印刷媒体に向かうにつれて互いに距離が広がるよう形成されていることを特徴とする、インクジェット印刷システム。 - ノズルからインクを放出するプリントヘッドと、
印刷媒体に向かう方向から外れた方向に流れるインクを吸収する捕捉用多孔部材と、
前記捕捉用多孔部材と前記ノズルとの間に設けられ、インク流方向とは異なる方向に気体を流通させる気体流室と、
前記ノズルから前記気体流室へと至る領域に設けられ、印刷媒体に向かう方向から外れた方向に流れるインクを吸収するノズル近傍多孔部材と、
を備え、
前記ノズル近傍多孔部材は、
前記ノズルに対向する面に開口し、前記ノズルから前記気体流室へとインクを流通させるスリットを有し、
前記スリットは、
インク流を挟むよう対向して配置され、前記ノズルから印刷媒体に向かうにつれて距離が広がるよう配置された2つの壁面を含むことを特徴とする、インクジェット印刷システム。
