Description
なお、以下の各実施形態においては、図19(b)に示すように、ディスプレイDの画面側を「前」とし、支持体S側を「後」とする。また、以下の各実施形態では、ディスプレイDをその画面と略平行な面内で回動させることを「ピボット」(図19(a)参照)と称し、ディスプレイDの上下を前後方向に傾動させることを「チルト」(図19(b)参照)と称し、ディスプレイDの左右を前後方向に傾動させることを「スイーベル」(図19(c)参照)と称することとする。
また、「通常状態」とは、ディスプレイDにその自重のみが作用する状態をいう。
本発明の実施形態に係るディスプレイ保持装置は、図1に示すように、ディスプレイDとこのディスプレイDを支持する支持体Sとの間に介設されるものであって、支持体Sに取り付けられるガイド機構Gと、ディスプレイDに取り付けられる保持機構Hとを備えて構成されており、ディスプレイDを横方向に移動可能に、且つ、ピボット、チルトおよびスイーベル可能に保持する。なお、本実施形態に係るディスプレイ保持装置は、左右一対の保持機構H,Hを備えているが、保持機構Hの個数はこれに限定されることはなく、一つであってもよく、さらには三つ以上であっても差し支えない。
まず、図5に示すように、ベース本体20Aの前側の開口部にスペーサ20Bを装着したうえで、スペーサ20Bとサポートキャップ30とでフランジ10Bの球帯部13を挟持する。
このディスプレイ保持装置は、通常状態においては、図12(a)に示すように、保持機構HにモーメントMが作用するので、何らの支えがなければ、保持機構HがモーメントMの作用方向(図中、矢印m1,m2方向)へ回転することになるが、案内部1によってモーメントMの作用方向(図中、矢印m2方向)へのスライド部3の移動が阻止されており、且つ、阻止部2の接触面2aによってモーメントMの作用方向(図中、矢印m1方向)への当接部4の移動が阻止されているので、保持機構HがモーメントMの作用方向へ回転することはなく、モーメントMは、ガイド機構Gに伝達されることになる。
前記した本発明の実施形態では、図12(a)(b)に示すように、案内部1の下方に阻止部2が配置され、これに対応して、スライド部3の下方に当接部4が配置されていたが、図17に示す第一の参考実施形態に係るディスプレイ保持装置では、案内部1の上方に阻止部2が配置され、これに対応して、スライド部3の上方に当接部4が配置されている。
前記した本発明の実施形態および第一の参考実施形態では、ガイド機構Gの案内部1と阻止部2とを上下に並べて配置し、保持機構Hのスライド部3と当接部4とを上下に並べて配置したが(図12、図17参照)、例えば、図18に示す第二の参考実施形態に係るディスプレイ保持装置では、ガイド機構Gの案内部1と阻止部2とを前後に並べて配置し、保持機構Hのスライド部3と当接部4とを前後に並べて配置している。なお、図18に示すディスプレイ保持装置では、案内部1の後方に阻止部2が配置され、これに対応して、スライド部3の後方に当接部4が配置されている。また、ベース部20は、マウントH1に立設された取付ブロックH3の前面に取り付けられている。

Claims (3)
- ディスプレイと当該ディスプレイを支持する支持体との間に介設されるディスプレイ保持装置であって、
前記支持体に取り付けられるガイド機構と、
前記ディスプレイに取り付けられ、前記ディスプレイの重量に起因するモーメントを前記ガイド機構に伝達する保持機構とを備えており、
前記ガイド機構は、横方向に延びる案内部と、当該案内部の下方において当該案内部に沿って配置された阻止部とを有しており、
前記保持機構は、前記ディスプレイ側への抜け出しが阻止された状態で前記案内部に摺動自在に係合するスライド部と、前記阻止部と対向する位置に設けられた当接部とを有するとともに、前記スライド部において前記案内部に吊り下げられており、
前記当接部の下縁と前記阻止部との間に隙間が設けられており、
前記阻止部は、前記モーメントの作用方向への前記当接部の移動を阻止するとともに、当該作用方向と反対方向への前記当接部の移動を許容する、ことを特徴とするディスプレイ保持装置。 - 前記保持機構は、前記ディスプレイの後面に取り付けられる可動部と、前記スライド部および前記当接部と一体にされたベース部とを有しており、
前記可動部は、前記ディスプレイの画面に略垂直な軸線廻りに回動可能な状態で前記ベース部に支持されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディスプレイ保持装置。 - 前記保持機構は、前記ディスプレイの後面に取り付けられる可動部と、前記スライド部および前記当接部と一体にされたベース部とを有しており、
前記可動部は、その後面に球形面を呈する摺動面を有し、前記ベース部は、その前面に前記摺動面に摺動自在に当接する受け面を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディスプレイ保持装置。
