Description
Claims (5)
- 動きの軌跡に沿った画像データの動き依存性空間低域通過フィルタリングによる、空間領域における低域通過フィルタリングとして解釈されうる前記動きの軌跡に沿った画素強度の観察者による積分から特に生じるディスプレイ装置において示される画像の動きボケを減少させる方法であって、
入力ビデオ信号の動く成分に依存する動きベクトルが計算され、
前記動きベクトルに依存するフィルタ係数が計算され、
前記入力ビデオ信号は高域通過フィルタリングビデオ信号を与える前記フィルタ係数に依存して高域通過フィルタリングされ、
前記入力ビデオ信号及び前記高域通過フィルタリングされたビデオ信号を組み合わせることにより出力ビデオ信号が生成され、
前記出力ビデオ信号に依存して前記ディスプレイ装置において画像が生成され、
前記入力ビデオ信号の前記高域通過フィルタリングは前記入力ビデオ信号の高空間周波数性質を決定する画像特性に更に依存し、
前記入力ビデオ信号は前記高域通過フィルタリングされたビデオ信号と比較され、
該比較されたビデオ信号はマスキング回路によりフィルタリングされ、
前記出力ビデオ信号は前記入力ビデオ信号及び前記マスキングされたビデオ信号を組み合わせることにより生成され、
前記マスキング回路は、閾値以下で前記比較されたビデオ信号が実質的に抑制され、前記閾値以上で前記比較されたビデオ信号が少なくとも部分的にブーストされるように、前記比較されたビデオ信号に対してマスキングする前記閾値を与える、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記画像特性は、画像細部、及び/又は画像コントラスト、及び/又は画像テクスチャ、及び/又は平均信号値、及び/又はピークツーピーク値であることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記入力ビデオ信号は、前記フィルタ係数に依存して高空間周波数ブーストフィルタによりフィルタリングされることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の方法。
- ビデオ信号における動きベクトルを計算する動き計算手段と、前記動きベクトルに依存してフィルタ係数を計算する手段と、前記フィルタ係数に依存して前記ビデオ信号を高域通過フィルタリングする第1フィルタリング手段と、前記高域通過フィルタリングされたビデオ信号を前記入力ビデオ信号に加算する手段とを有する、ビデオディスプレイに対して動きボケ抑制を与える回路配置であって、
前記第1フィルタリング手段は、前記ビデオ信号の高空間周波数性質を決定する画像特性に依存して前記ビデオ信号をフィルタリングするように備えられ、前記第1フィルタリング手段は、
前記入力ビデオ信号を前記高域通過フィルタリングされたビデオ信号と比較する手段と、
該比較されたビデオ信号をフィルタリングするマスキング回路と、
前記入力ビデオ信号及び前記マスキングされたビデオ信号を組み合わせることにより前記出力ビデオ信号を生成する手段と、
を更に有する、回路配置であり、
前記マスキング回路は、閾値以下で前記比較されたビデオ信号が実質的に抑制され、前記閾値以上で前記比較されたビデオ信号が少なくとも部分的にブーストされるように、前記比較されたビデオ信号に対してマスキングする前記閾値を与える、
ことを特徴とする回路配置。 - 請求項4記載の回路配置を有する、又は、請求項1乃至3のうちいずれか一項記載の方法で動作する、特に液晶ディスプレイ(LCD)、薄膜トランジスタ・ディスプレイ(TFT)、カラー・シーケンシャル・ディスプレイ、又はプラズマ・ディスプレイ・パネル(PDP)である非ストロボ式ディスプレイ装置。
