Description
さらに、上記電流センサ装置においては、前記磁気センサが、被測定電流レンジの異なるn個のホールICまたはホール素子からなる場合には、前記磁性体コアが、前記磁路に沿ってn重に分割され、前記n個のホールICまたはホール素子が、前記n重に分割された磁性体コアのそれぞれのギャップ内に配置されている。
これによれば、全体を大型化することなく、n個のホールICまたはホール素子のそれぞれの被測定電流レンジに合わせて、n重に分割された磁性体コアのそれぞれの磁路幅とギャップ間隔を、好適化させることができる。
さらに外側の磁性体コアが、地磁気などの外部磁界に対して磁気シールド効果をもたらすため、内側コアを高精度測定レンジ用にすると好適である。

Claims (5)
- ギャップを有するリングの形状に形成され、前記リングの中心部に挿入される被測定電流の流路を取り囲んで、前記被測定電流の発生する磁束の磁路となる磁性体コアと、
前記ギャップ内に配置され、ギャップ内の磁界の強さに応じた電気信号を発生する磁気センサとを備え、
前記磁気センサの出力信号により、前記被測定電流の電流値を計測する電流センサ装置であって、
前記磁気センサが、被測定電流レンジの異なるn個(nは複数)のホールICまたはホール素子からなると共に、
前記磁性体コアが、前記磁路に沿ってn重に分割され、
前記n個のホールICまたはホール素子が、前記n重に分割された磁性体コアのそれぞれのギャップ内に配置されてなり、
前記磁気センサが、被測定電流レンジの異なる複数の信号を出力することを特徴とする電流センサ装置。 - 前記磁性体コアは、n個の異なる幅のギャップを有し、
前記n個のホールICまたはホール素子が、前記異なる幅のギャップ内に配置されてなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電流センサ装置。 - 前記n個のホールICまたはホール素子が、前記リングの内側から、前記被測定電流レンジの狭い順に、前記ギャップ内に配置されてなることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の電流センサ装置。
- 前記電流センサ装置が、車載バッテリの入出力電流測定用であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の電流センサ装置。
- 前記磁気センサが、被測定電流レンジの異なる2個の信号を出力し、
一方の信号の被測定電流レンジが、車のエンジン始動時の放電電流を測定可能なワイド測定レンジであり、
もう一方の信号の被測定電流レンジが、車の通常走行時の充放電電流を測定可能な高精度測定レンジであることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の電流センサ装置。
