Description
Claims (6)
- 燃焼室を備える内燃機関本体と、
前記燃焼室に連通する吸気通路と、
前記燃焼室に連通する排気通路と、
前記排気通路に設けられ、排気ガスを浄化する触媒と、
前記内燃機関本体の運転状態を検出する運転状態検出手段と、
駆動用の電動機を備えて前記吸気通路に設けられ、前記内燃機関本体の運転状態に応じて駆動されて吸入した空気を前記燃焼室へ過給する電動過給機と、
前記吸気通路において前記電動過給機の下流に設けられ、排気ガスによって駆動されて吸入した空気を前記燃焼室へ過給する排気タービン過給機と、
前記吸気通路において、前記電動過給機と前記排気タービン過給機との間の第1の分岐部から分岐して前記排気タービン過給機の下流の第1の合流部に合流する前記排気タービン過給機バイパス通路と、
前記排気タービン過給機バイパス通路に設けられ、前記排気タービン過給機バイパス通路を開閉する排気タービン過給機バイパス弁と、
前記吸気通路において、前記電動過給機の上流の第2の分岐部から分岐して前記電動過給機と前記第1の分岐部との間の第2の合流部に合流する電動過給機バイパス通路と、
前記電動過給機バイパス通路に設けられ、前記電動過給機バイパス通路を開閉する電動過給機バイパス弁と、
前記吸気通路において、前記電動過給機と前記排気タービン過給機との間の2次空気供給通路分岐部から分岐し、前記排気通路に合流する2次空気供給通路と、
前記2次空気供給通路に設けられ、前記2次空気供給通路を開閉する2次空気弁と、
前記内燃機関本体の運転状態に応じて、前記電動過給機の駆動および前記排気タービン過給機バイパス弁と前記電動過給機バイパス弁と前記2次空気弁の開閉を制御する制御部と、
を具備し、
前記制御部は、前記内燃機関本体の冷態始動時において、前記触媒の温度が活性温度に昇温するまで、前記排気タービン過給機バイパス弁および前記2次空気弁を開くとともに前記電動過給機バイパス弁を閉じて前記電動過給機を駆動し、前記吸入空気を2次空気として前記排気通路へ供給させるとともに前記排気タービン過給機をバイパスさせて前記燃焼室へ供給させることを特徴とする過給機付き内燃機関。 - 請求項1において、
前記制御部は、前記排気通路に2次空気を供給するときに前記燃焼室に供給される燃料を増量することを特徴とする過給機付き内燃機関。 - 請求項1または請求項2において、
前記運転状態検出手段は、前記触媒の温度を検出する触媒温度センサと、前記内燃機関本体の冷却水の温度を検出する冷却水温度センサと、アクセルペダルの踏み込み量を検出するアクセルペダル開度センサと、前記内燃機関本体の回転数を検出する回転数センサと、前記制御部とを具備し、
前記制御部は、前記各センサからの情報に基づいて前記内燃機関本体の運転状態を検出することを特徴とする過給機付き内燃機関。 - 請求項1から請求項3のうちのいずれか1項の記載において、
前記制御部は、前記内燃機関本体の運転状態が低中回転時で中負荷状態にあるときには、前記排気タービン過給機バイパス弁を開くとともに前記電動過給機バイパス弁と前記2次空気弁を閉じて前記電動過給機を作動させ、前記内燃機関本体の運転状態が高回転時で高負荷状態にあるときには、前記電動過給機バイパス弁を開くとともに前記排気タービン過給機バイパス弁と前記2次空気弁を閉じて前記排気タービン過給機を作動させ、前記内燃機関本体の運転状態が低中回転時で高負荷状態にあるときには、前記排気タービン過給機バイパス弁と前記電動過給機バイパス弁と前記2次空気弁を閉じて前記電動過給機と前記排気タービン過給機の両方を作動させることを特徴とする過給機付き内燃機関。 - 請求項1から請求項4のうちのいずれか1項の記載において、
前記吸気通路において前記2次空気供給通路分岐部および前記第1の分岐部の下流であって前記排気タービン過給機の上流に設けられ、前記吸気通路を開閉する進入防止弁を具備し、
前記制御部は、前記排気通路に2次空気を供給するときおよび前記内燃機関本体の運転状態が低中回転時で中負荷状態にあるときには、前記進入防止弁を閉じることを特徴とする過給機付き内燃機関。 - 請求項1から請求項5のうちのいずれか1項の記載において、
前記吸気通路において前記第1の合流部と前記排気タービン過給機との間に設けられ、前記吸気通路を開閉する逆流防止弁と
を具備し、
前記制御部は、前記排気通路に2次空気を供給するときおよび前記内燃機関本体の運転状態が低中回転時で中負荷状態にあるときには、前記逆流防止弁を閉じることを特徴とする過給機付き内燃機関。
