Description
Claims (2)
- 複数の業務アプリケーションのそれぞれを複数の計算機リソースのうちの少なくともいずれか一つで稼動させ、業務アプリケーションに対するリクエストを当該業務アプリケーションが稼動している計算機リソースに振り分けて処理するシステムに対して、業務アプリケーションを稼動させる計算機リソースの割り当てを変更するリソース割当調停装置であって、
業務アプリケーションの各々について、前記計算機リソースのスペックと、当該スペックを持つ計算機リソースで当該業務アプリケーションを稼動させた場合に期待できる処理能力とを記憶する処理能力記憶手段と、
前記複数の計算機リソースの各々について、当該計算機リソースに割当てられた前記業務アプリケーションの処理量を記憶する処理量記憶手段と、
前記業務アプリケーション毎に、前記処理量記憶手段から読み出した、当該業務アプリケーションが割り当てられた計算機リソース各々に対する当該業務アプリケーションの前記処理量の合計値である適正処理能力と、前記処理能力記憶手段から読み出した、当該業務アプリケーションが割当てられた計算機リソース各々の当該業務アプリケーションに対する前記処理能力の合計値である現状処理能力との比率に基づいて、余裕率を計算する余裕指数計算手段と、
前記余裕指数計算手段が業務アプリケーション毎に計算した余裕率に基づいて、計算機リソースと、当該計算機リソースに割り当てられている業務アプリケーションである引当元業務アプリケーションと、当該計算機リソースに割り当てる業務アプリケーションである引当先業務アプリケーションとを特定した引当変更を計画する調整計画手段と、
前記調整計画手段が決定した引当変更の計画に従い、前記計算機リソースに割り当てられている前記引当元業務アプリケーションを解放して、前記計算機リソースに前記引当先業務アプリケーションを設定する構成変更手段と、を有し、
前記調整計画手段は、更に、
前記業務アプリケーション毎に、前記処理能力記憶手段で記憶されている処理能力と前記現状処理能力とから、前記計算機リソースのスペックで前記引当元業務アプリケーションを稼動させたときに期待できる引当元の処理能力と、前記計算機リソースと同じスペックで前記引当先業務アプリケーションを稼動させたときに期待できる引当先の処理能力とを算出する手段と
前記適正処理能力及び前記引当元の処理能力から、引当後における前記引当元業務アプリケーションの余裕率を算出し、前記適正処理能力及び前記引当先の処理能力から、前記引当先業務アプリケーションの余裕率を算出する手段と、
前記業務アプリケーション各々の引当前の余裕率から前記引当前の余裕率のバラツキ度を算出し、前記業務アプリケーション各々の引当後の余裕率から前記引当後の余裕率のバラツキ度とを算出する手段と、
前記引当前の余裕率のバラツキ度と前記引当後の余裕度のバラツキ度とを比較する手段と、を有し、
前記調整計画手段は、業務アプリケーション各々の余裕率のバラツキ度が小さくなるように、引当変更を計画すること
を特徴とするリソース割当調停装置。 - 複数の業務アプリケーションのそれぞれを複数の計算機リソースのうちの少なくともいずれか一つで稼動させ、業務アプリケーションに対するリクエストを当該業務アプリケーションが稼動している計算機リソースに振り分けて処理するシステムに対して、業務アプリケーションを稼動させる計算機リソースを決定するリソース割当調停方法であって、
業務アプリケーションの各々について、前記計算機リソースのスペックと、当該スペックを持つ計算機リソースで当該業務アプリケーションを稼動させた場合に期待できる処理能力とを記憶する処理能力記憶テーブルと、
前記複数の計算機リソースの各々について、当該計算機リソースに割当てられた前記業務アプリケーションの処理量を記憶する処理量記憶テーブルと、を記憶する記憶手段を有するコンピュータが、
前記業務アプリケーション毎に、前記処理量記憶テーブルから読み出した、当該業務アプリケーションが割り当てられた計算機リソース各々に対する当該業務アプリケーションの前記処理量の合計値である適正処理能力と、前記処理能力記憶テーブルから読み出した、当該業務アプリケーションが割当てられた計算機リソース各々の当該業務アプリケーションに対する前記処理能力の合計値である現状処理能力との比率に基づいて、余裕率を計算し、
前記業務アプリケーション毎に、前記処理能力記憶テーブルで記憶されている処理能力と前記現状処理能力とから、前記計算機リソースのスペックで前記引当元業務アプリケーションを稼動させたときに期待できる引当元の処理能力と、前記計算機リソースと同じスペックで前記引当先業務アプリケーションを稼動させたときに期待できる引当先の処理能力とを算出し、
前記適正処理能力及び前記引当元の処理能力から、引当後における前記引当元業務アプリケーションの余裕率を算出し、前記適正処理能力及び前記引当先の処理能力から、前記引当先業務アプリケーションの余裕率を算出し、
前記業務アプリケーション各々の引当前の余裕率から前記引当前の余裕率のバラツキ度を算出し、前記業務アプリケーション各々の引当後の余裕率から前記引当後の余裕率のバラツキ度とを算出し、
前記引当前の余裕率のバラツキ度と前記引当後の余裕度のバラツキ度とを比較し、
業務アプリケーション各々の余裕率のバラツキ度が小さくなるように、計算機リソースと、当該計算機リソースに割り当てられている業務アプリケーションである引当元業務アプリケーションと、当該計算機リソースに割り当てる業務アプリケーションである引当先業務アプリケーションとを特定した引当変更を計画し、
前記引当変更の計画に従い、前記計算機リソースに割り当てられている前記引当元業務アプリケーションを解放して、前記計算機リソースに前記引当先業務アプリケーションを設定すること
を特徴とするリソース割当調停方法。
