Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an attractant for mollusk gastropods of land and waterpox and an attractant / insecticide for attracting insects.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Land-crusted gastropods such as slugs and mussels greatly damage the value of these crops because they damage many plants such as agricultural crops, flower buds, foliage plants, fruit trees, and leave silver traces. On the other hand, scallops (commonly known as jumbo snails), which are varicella gastropods, cause enormous damage during the initial cultivation period because they prefer to eat seedlings of transplanted rice and direct seeded rice when inhabiting in paddy fields.
[0003]
As a method for controlling these terrestrial gastropods, a method using a spray agent or an attractant / insecticide can be mentioned. However, sprays can only eliminate gastropods that were found with the naked eye, and are not suitable for the control of nocturnal slugs and mussels. In addition, bait preparations containing about 3 to 6% of metaaldehyde are commercially available as attractants and insecticides. This bait agent is an agent that attracts and kills terrestrial gastropods, but terrestrial gastropods prefer to live in high humidity areas, so when used in areas with high moisture, the bait agent (granule) tends to collapse, There is a problem that the attracting and insecticidal period is shortened. In addition, metaaldehyde has been cited as a problem of ineffective insect pests in some land snails, and development of new drugs is desired.
[0004]
Furthermore, in order to improve the attractiveness of land-gastropods, the composition of yeast and animal food (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 3-184901), the composition of food fermented with yeast (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 3-130203), the composition of sake lees (JP-A-10-25207), a combination of sugars, vanillin, maltol, and lower alcohols (C2-4) (JP-A-11-130612) has been proposed.
[0005]
Since it is used in water and low fish toxicity is required, there are few effective insecticides, and lime nitrogen, IBP agent, and cartap are used as components that reduce the damage of scallop apple mussels. Lime nitrogen in it is an insecticidal effect in respiration inhibition by cyanamide as a decomposition product, and IBP and cartap use a food damage prevention effect due to the repellent effect of active ingredients. All of these have the problem of contaminating the rice field water. In addition, 3,5-xylyl N-methylcarbamate and the like (JP-A-3-2104) have been proposed as insecticidal components, but since there are very few attractants that are effective in water, no proposal has been made regarding attractants. Absent.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The conventional gastropod attractant and insecticide metaldehyde has not been able to satisfy the attracting effect. For this reason, when a large amount of a metaaldehyde agent is sprayed in order to increase the attracting effect, another problem arises in that an insecticidal component is released more than necessary in the environment and adversely affects other organisms.
[0007]
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide an attractant having a higher attracting power to gastropods, and to provide an attractant / insecticide for gastropods in which an attracting substance is mixed with an insecticide effective for gastropods, The object is to provide an attractant and attractant / insecticide for varicella gastropods, which were considered difficult to develop. Moreover, it aims at reducing the usage-amount of an attractant and an insecticide by raising attracting power, and reducing the insecticidal component discharge | released in the environment.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
Therefore, the present inventors have focused on the crops, flower buds, foliage plants, fruit trees, and fermentable foods that are injured, and studied the attractiveness of the volatile components that they have. As a result, aldehydes, fatty acids, fatty acid esters, aliphatic alcohols, etc. having a specific total carbon number have a strong attraction for gastropods, and if these components are mixed with insecticidal ingredients, effective attracting and We found that an insecticide was obtained.
[0009]
That is, the present invention relates to an aliphatic aldehyde having 5 to 12 carbon atoms, a fatty acid having 5 to 12 carbon atoms, a fatty acid ester having 6 to 11 carbon atoms, an aliphatic alcohol having 6 to 11 carbon atoms, phenylacetic acid and para The present invention provides a gastropod attractant containing at least one compound selected from acetaldehyde. The present invention also provides a gastropod attractant and insecticide characterized by mixing the above-mentioned attractant compound with an insecticidal component effective for gastropods. Furthermore, the present invention provides an aliphatic aldehyde having 5 to 12 carbon atoms, a fatty acid having 5 to 12 carbon atoms, a fatty acid ester having 6 to 11 carbon atoms, an aliphatic alcohol having 6 to 11 carbon atoms, phenylacetic acid, and paraacetaldehyde. The present invention provides a method for attracting gastropods, comprising using at least one compound selected from the group consisting of compounds as attractants. The attractant / insecticide for gastropods of the present invention is realized by completing the attractant for gastropods of the present invention.

[0023]
【Example】
Example 1
The attractiveness of the attractive compound was evaluated by the following method.
[Evaluation method] (T-shaped glass tube method)
A test tube with a diameter of 7 mm is combined to create a T-tube consisting of 5 cm of the introduction part and 13 cm after branching, and a 100 mL Erlenmeyer flask is connected to the introduction part. Put 3 pieces of cabbage pieces with a diameter of 7 mm on both ends of the T-tube, place 1.5 cm filter paper impregnated with 0.01 mg to 0.0001 mg of the test compound on one end, and place both ends with wet absorbent cotton. I covered it. The concentration of the test compound was sometimes different depending on the concentration, so the test compound concentration was appropriately selected at each stage of 0.01 mg, 0.001 mg, and 0.0001 mg. %) Was determined by [Equation 1].
[0024]
[Expression 1]
[0025]
Two or three Chakoura slugs with a body length of 2 to 3 cm were placed in a triangular flask part, and the test was simultaneously performed so that a total of 9 to 10 animals were obtained.
Evaluation was performed 12 hours later (from night to morning). At that time, slugs are in the Erlenmeyer flask, at the tip of the test compound-impregnated filter paper, at the tip of the filter paper-free tip, or at the branch, and the number of slugs at the tip of the test compound-impregnated filter paper. The total number was counted. As a comparative example, 0.03 g of a commercial attractant / insecticide Nametox (manufactured by Takeda Horticulture) was used as a 6% methaldehyde. Moreover, it implemented also about ethanol and vanillin as a comparative example.
[0026]
As a result, as shown in Table 1, aldehydes, fatty acids, esters, alcohols, phenylacetic acids and paraacetaldehyde having carbon numbers within the scope of the present invention are low in comparison with metaaldehyde, which is a commercially available attractant and insecticide. Concentration showed a remarkable attracting effect.
