Description
Claims (16)
- 拡散板の直下に配置された複数の線状光源と前記線状光源からの光を反射する反射板とからなる面光源装置において、
前記反射板の前記線状光源の長手方向と直交する断面が、一つの焦点を共有する第1の楕円と第2の楕円の輪郭を、該共有する焦点と他の2つの焦点を結ぶ直線で分割した二連半楕円形状を前記長手方向と直交する方向に前記線状光源の数だけ複数並べた形状を有し、
前記光源のそれぞれは、前記二連半楕円形状を構成する2つの半楕円の交点と前記共有する焦点との間に配置され、対応する前記二連半楕円形状の輪郭内でその長手方向背面および側面から囲まれており、
前記反射板は、前記線状光源からの光を前記拡散板の方向に正反射及び拡散反射することを特徴とする面光源装置。 - 前記線状光源は、前記分割された2つの半楕円の交点と前記共有する焦点とを結ぶ直線上に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の面光源装置。
- 前記拡散板に照射される線状光源からの直射光の光量分布曲線と反射板からの正反射光の光量分布曲線との位相は反転しており、かつ、前記直射光と前記正反射光の振幅がほぼ等しいことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の面光源装置。
- 前記反射板の正反射率を2%以上から10%程度としたことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の面光源装置。
- 前記線状光源の配列ピッチが前記反射板の前記線状光源の長手方向と直交する方向の深さより大きいことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の面光源装置。
- 前記反射板が、ポリカーボネート樹脂などの熱可塑性樹脂に酸化チタンを好適とする可視光拡散反射剤を添加した樹脂材料を射出成形、押し出し成形又は圧縮成形の何れかで製造されたものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の面光源装置。
- 前記反射板が、超臨界流体を利用した微細発泡成形又は化学発泡剤による発泡成形により製造されたものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の面光源装置。
- 前記反射板が、板金加工された金属板に拡散反射フィルムを貼り付けて製造されたものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の面光源装置。
- 前記反射板が、板金加工された金属板の表面に酸化チタンを好適とする白色高反射率塗装をすることにより製造されたものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の面光源装置。
- 前記2つの半楕円の境界部は、丸みをつけた境界部であることを特徴とする請求項8又は9に記載の面光源装置。
- 拡散板の直下に配置された複数の線状光源と前記線状光源からの光を反射する反射板とからなる面光源装置において、
前記反射板の前記線状光源の長手方向と直交する断面は、第1の楕円と第2の楕円の各第1の焦点を前記線状光源の位置で共有し、各第2の焦点が前記線状光源よりも前記拡散板側にある第1の楕円と第2の楕円の2つの楕円の輪郭を、前記反射板側の第1の焦点と前記拡散板側の第2の焦点との間において分割した2つの半楕円を並べた形状を有し、
前記線状光源のそれぞれは、各対応する前記二連半楕円形状の輪郭内で前記共有する各第1の焦点の位置にあって、その長手方向背面および側面から前記反射板で囲まれており、
前記反射板は、前記線状光源からの光を前記拡散板の方向に正反射及び拡散反射することを特徴とする面光源装置。 - 前記反射板は、当該反射板を形成する前記分割された2つの半楕円の交点を前記線状光源側寄りに移動させた形状を有することを特徴とする請求項11に記載の面光源装置。
- 前記反射板は、前記分割された2つの半楕円の交点を覆う突起部を有することを特徴とする請求項11に記載の面光源装置。
- 拡散板の直下に配置された複数の線状光源と前記線状光源からの光を反射する反射板とからなる面光源装置において、
前記反射板の前記線状光源の長手方向と直交する断面は、第1の楕円と第2の楕円が交差し、前記第1の楕円の第1の焦点と第2の焦点を含む直線と前記第2の楕円の第1の焦点と第2の焦点を含む直線との交点は前記線状光源よりも前記反射板側にあり、前記反射板側に位置した前記第1の楕円と第2の楕円の輪郭を、該第1の楕円と第2の楕円の前記反射板側の各第1の焦点を含む直線で分割した2つの半楕円を並べた二連半楕円形状を有し、
前記線状光源のそれぞれは、各対応する前記二連半楕円形状の輪郭内で前記第1の楕円の第1の焦点と前記第2の楕円の第1の焦点を結ぶ直線上と前記分割された2つの半楕円の交点との間にあって、その長手方向背面および側面から前記反射板で囲まれており、
前記反射板は、前記線状光源からの光を前記拡散板の方向に正反射及び拡散反射することを特徴とする面光源装置。 - 前記線状光源のそれぞれは、前記第1の楕円の第1の焦点と第2の楕円の第1の焦点を含む直線上で、前記第1の楕円の第1の焦点と前記第2の楕円の第1の焦点の中間に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項14に記載の面光源装置。
- 前記線状光源のそれぞれは、前記第1の楕円の第1の焦点と第2の焦点を含む直線と第2の楕円の第1の焦点と第2の焦点を含む直線の交差位置に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項14に記載の面光源装置。
