従来、茶葉を炒って、加熱処理する装置には、回分式と連続式とがある。また、対象となる茶葉には、茶生葉や製茶加工中の茶葉、荒茶として製茶加工終了後の茶葉などがある。連続式の茶葉加熱処理装置は、半円筒型の処理胴の中に茶葉撹拌手が備えられており、処理胴の一端へ茶葉を投入し、撹拌手により茶葉を撹拌しながら処理胴の他端へ移送し、移送中に茶葉を加熱処理するものが多い。また、回分式の茶葉加熱処理装置は、円筒状の回転胴へ茶葉を収容し、回転により茶葉を撹拌しながら、加熱処理するものが多い。

従来の連続式の茶葉加熱処理装置は、茶葉を送る量及び茶葉のカサ・水分により加熱ムラが生じやすく、加熱処理をコントロールすることが難しかった。また、回分式の茶葉加熱処理装置は、加熱ムラは少ないが、投入や、特に取出しに複雑な装置が必要となる問題があった。本発明では、加熱ムラが少なく、茶葉の投入や取出しが容易な回分式の茶葉加熱処理装置を提供することを課題としている。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の実施例を図面を参照して説明する。1は円筒状回転胴であり、一端を通気性部材2で、他端を開放端3で構成されている。この円筒状回転胴1の内部には適宜茶葉拡散ツメ4が取付けられている。この円筒状回転胴1の下部には加熱装置5が設置されており、この加熱装置5による熱により円筒状回転胴1が温められる。20は保温カバーであり、円筒状回転胴1を覆っている。この保温カバー20の上部には排気調節ダンパ21が設けてあり、保温カバー20内の排気量の調節をする。

円筒状回転胴1は加熱装置5によって加熱処理され、温度センサ11で温度を測定し、制御盤(図示しない)で所望する温度を設定すると、所望する温度になるように加熱装置5の作動を調整する。所望する温度より低ければ加熱装置5を作動し、高ければ加熱装置5を停止し、必要に応じて排気調節ダンパ21を開き、温度調整を行う。また、ファン15を起動して強制的に排気することもできる。円筒状回転胴1の回転数はあらかじめ設定しておき、茶葉は円筒状回転胴1内の茶葉拡散ツメ4でかき上げ、拡散しながら加熱処理が行われる。茶葉の水分が少なく、熟度が進んだ硬葉の場合は、蒸気吹出孔34より蒸気を噴出し、殺青を行ない易くするとよい。

簡単な装置で、回分式の長所である加熱ムラの無い効果があり熱効率を高める効果がある。また、排気口を設けてファンを設けたことで温度調整が容易となり、制御がしやすくなる。

円筒状回転胴の開放端側の排気口より茶葉を投入することで、投入が容易に出来る。取出し時に、円板を水平移動することで容易に取出しが出来、また、円筒状回転胴を枠ごと傾斜させることで取出し時間が短縮でき、更に、取出し時に高圧エアーを胴内に噴射させることで、粒度の小さな茶葉でも確実に取出され円筒状回転胴内に残される茶葉がなく、次回の茶葉に混入する事がなくなる。
