Description

【0001】

[Patent Document 1]
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2003-86272
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the conventional connector, when each mounting portion is fastened to a board or the like with a screw, a tensile stress is generated in the connector body due to the fastening force of the screw, and this stress remains and causes distortion and deformation of the connector body. There was a point.
[0006]
The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned problems, and the object of the present invention is to reliably prevent distortion and deformation of the connector main body even if a tensile force is generated in the connector main body when fixing the mounting portion. It is to provide a card connector that can be used.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a connector main body having a card insertion slot on one end side, a plurality of card connection terminals provided on the other end side of the connector main body, and both sides of the connector main body in the width direction. In the card connector in which the connector body is attached to the attachment object by fixing each attachment part to an arbitrary attachment object, a length extending in the front-rear direction on the side surface of the connector body. A hole is provided, and a portion between the elongated hole and the attachment portion is formed so as to be elastically deformable in the width direction of the connector body, and the attachment portion is provided on the distal end side of the extension portion extending in the front-rear direction from a predetermined position on the lower side of the connector body. The base end side of the extending portion is formed so as to be elastically deformable in the vertical direction .
[0008]
As a result, when a tensile force is applied to the connector main body by fixing the attachment portion, the portion between the elongated hole and the attachment portion is elastically deformed in the width direction of the connector main body, and the proximal end side of the extension portion is elastically deformed in the vertical direction. The tensile force is absorbed. In this case, it is possible to form the vicinity of the attachment portion so as to be elastically deformable in the width direction and the vertical direction of the connector main body by simply providing the elongated hole and providing the extension portion in the connector main body.
[0009]

The connector body 10 is composed of an upper housing 11 formed by molding a metal plate and a lower housing 12 made of a synthetic resin integral molding, and the housings 11 and 12 are formed so that both side portions overlap each other. Has been. A card insertion slot 10 a is provided on one end side of the connector body 10, and a space for accommodating the card 1 is formed between the housings 11 and 12. On both sides of the upper housing 11 in the width direction, plate-like attachment portions 11a extending laterally from the lower end of the side surface are provided, and holes 11b through which the screws 13 are inserted are provided in the attachment portion 11a. Further, elongated holes 11c extending in the front-rear direction are provided at a total of two locations on the upper housing 11, and each elongated hole 11c is disposed at the upper end of the side surface of the attachment portion 11a. That is, a portion between each elongated hole 11 c and the attachment portion 11 a forms a flexible portion 14 that can be elastically deformed in the width direction of the upper housing 11.
[0013]
The card connection terminals 20 are arranged on the other end side of the connector main body 10 and are held in the lower housing 12 at intervals in the width direction. In this case, one end side of each terminal 20 is disposed in the connector main body 10, and the other end side is disposed outside the connector main body 10.
[0014]
The card ejection mechanism 30 is provided on one side in the connector body 10, and a slide member 31 that moves in the card insertion direction together with the card 1, and the slide member 31 is moved at a predetermined insertion position of the card 1 by pressing the card 1. [0017]
Each of the card detection terminals 40 and 41 is disposed on the other side of the connector main body 10 and is held by the lower housing 12 with a space in the front-rear direction. One card detection terminal 40 has an elastic piece 40a extending toward the card insertion slot 10a, and the leading end thereof extends to the vicinity of the card insertion slot 10a. Further, a protrusion 40b protruding into the connector main body 10 is provided on the distal end side of the elastic piece 40a. The protrusion 40b is brought into contact with the card 1 inserted into the connector main body 10 so that the elastic piece 40a is connected to the other. The card detection terminal 41 is pressed. That is, the other card detection terminal 41 has a contact portion 41a that can come into contact with the elastic piece 40a. When the elastic piece 40a is pressed by the contact between the protrusion 40b and the card 1, the elastic piece 40a is contacted with the contact portion 41a. To come into contact.
[0018]
In the card connector configured as described above, when the card 1 is inserted into the card insertion slot 10a, the slide member 31 moves to the back side in the connector body 10 by insertion of the card 1 as shown in FIG. Then, the engaging member 34 moves from one end side of the first groove 32a to the other end side. Here, when the pressing of the card 1 is released, the slide member 31 is slightly returned in the direction opposite to the card insertion by the spring 31c, and the engaging member 34 is moved from the other end side of the first groove 32a to the second groove 32a. Moving. Thereby, as shown in FIG. 3, the engaging member 34 is locked to one end side of the second groove 32a, and the slide member 31 is locked.
[0019]
When the card 1 is ejected, as shown in FIG. 4, when the card 1 is pressed in the insertion direction, the slide member 31 moves slightly in the card insertion direction, and the engagement member 34 moves from the second groove 32a to the third slot. It moves to the groove 32c and the lock of the slide member 31 is released. When the pressing of the card 1 is released, the engaging member 34 moves to the one end side of the locking member 32 along the third groove 32c as shown in FIG. 5, and the slide member 31 and the card 1 are connected to the connector main body by the spring 31c. 10 toward one end side.
[0020]
When the connector is attached to the board A, the screws 13 are inserted into the holes 11b of the attachment parts 11a of the connector body 10 and the screws 13 are fastened to the board A, so that each attachment part 11a is attached to the board A. Fixed to A. At that time, a tensile force in the width direction is applied to the upper housing 11 of the connector main body 10 by the fastening force of each screw 13, but as shown by the one-dot chain line in FIG. Since the flexible portion 14 that can be elastically deformed is formed in the width direction of the housing 11, the tensile force is absorbed by the elastic deformation of the flexible portion 14.
[0021]
As described above , according to the card connector, in the vicinity of the attachment portion 11a of the connector body 10, the flexible portion 14 that can be elastically deformed in a direction in which stress is applied to the upper housing 11 of the connector body 10 by fixing the attachment portion 11a. Since the tensile force due to the fixing of the attachment portion 11a is absorbed by the elastic deformation of the flexible portion 14, the upper housing 11 of the connector body 10 is not subjected to tensile stress, and the upper housing 11 Distortion and deformation can be reliably prevented.
[0022]
In this case, the long hole 11c extending in the front-rear direction is provided at the upper end of the side surface of the upper housing 11, and the portion between the long hole 11c and the attachment portion 11a is formed as a flexible portion 14 so as to be elastically deformable. The flexible portion 14 can be formed with only a simple configuration, which is extremely advantageous in manufacturing.
[0023]
In the card connector, the long hole 11c is provided at the upper end of the side surface of the upper housing 11. However, if a portion that can be elastically deformed in the direction in which the stress is generated in the upper housing 11 can be formed, it is provided at another position. It may be. In the card connector , the long hole 11c is provided on both sides in the width direction of the upper housing 11, but it may be provided only at one end in the width direction.
[0024]
8 and 9 show another premise technique of the present invention. FIG. 8 is a perspective view of a main part of a card connector, and FIG. 9 is a plan view of the main part. In addition, the same code | symbol is attached | subjected and shown to the component equivalent to the said premise technique .
[0025]
In this card connector , the mounting portion 11a of the connector main body 10 is provided on the distal end side of the extending portion 11d extending forward from a predetermined position in the front-rear direction of the lower end of the side surface of the upper housing 11, and the proximal end side of the extending portion 11d is in the vertical direction. A flexible portion 15 that is elastically deformable is formed.
[0026]
That is, when a tensile force in the width direction is applied to the upper housing 11 by fastening each screw 13, the flexible portion 15 is elastically deformed upward as shown by a one-dot chain line in FIG. 9, and the tensile force is applied by the flexible portion 15. Absorbed.
[0027]
Therefore, in the connector the card, since the tensile force by fixing the attachment portion 11a can be absorbed by the elastic deformation of the flexible portion 15, without causing tensile stress in the upper housing 11 of the connector body 10, the upper The distortion and deformation of the housing 11 can be reliably prevented.

In this case, the mounting portion 11a is provided on the distal end side of the extending portion 11d extending forward from the lower end of the side surface of the upper housing 11, and the base end side of the extending portion 11d is formed as a flexible portion 15 so as to be elastically deformable in the vertical direction. Therefore, the flexible portion 15 can be formed by a simple configuration in which the upper housing 11 is simply provided with the extending portion 11d, which is extremely advantageous in manufacturing.
[0029]
Figure 10 shows an embodiment of the present invention, provided with a long hole 11c to the upper housing 11, it provided the attachment portion 11a from the side lower end of the upper housing 11 on the distal end side of the extending portion 11d extending forward Is. As a result, the tensile force due to the fixing of the attachment portion 11a can be absorbed by the flexible portions 14 and 15 in the width direction and the vertical direction of the upper housing 11, respectively, so that the generation of tensile stress in the upper housing 11 can be more reliably performed. Can be prevented.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the card connector of the present invention , it is possible to absorb the tensile force to the connector main body generated when the mounting portion is fixed, so that no tensile stress is generated in the connector main body. Distortion and deformation can be reliably prevented. In this case, the vicinity of the attachment portion can be formed to be elastically deformable with a simple configuration, which is extremely advantageous in manufacturing.
