本発明は、間接活線工法により架空配電線の芯線露出部などに取付けて使用する電線補修用カバ−、及びその取付け方法に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来より、例えば、架空配電線に事故が生じた場合などにおける架空配電線工事においては、安全確保のために工事個所を無電圧状態にせしめる必要があるも、工事個所以外の送電を停止せしめることが出来ないものである。このため、一般に工事個所を挟んでバイパス工事終了後にバイパスケ−ブルでもって繋れたクランプを取付けるべく、架空配電線の被覆を剥がした個所、また、クランプに絶縁被膜を貫通する刃型電極を設けた場合における残留貫通個所など架空配電線の芯線露出部を補修せしめる必要があるものである。

ところで、かかる目的に使用される電線補修用カバ−としては、例えば、特開平8−98363号公報(特許文献1)に開示されているように、略半筒状とされた両側一対のカバ−部材よりなり、該各カバ−部材はその長手方向に沿ってその一端部が弾性ヒンジを介して開閉自在に連結されると共に、同他端部が係着部材を介して係着自在とされ、かつ、各カバ−部材の内周面には各々シ−ル材が設けられ、ヤットコ等所要の間接活線把持工具でもって挟持せしめつつ架空配電線に取付けるべく構成されたものが知られている。
そして、上述の如く構成された従来の電線補修用カバ−は、両側のカバ−部材を間接活線把持工具の把持片間にヒンジの弾力性を利用して略半開状に仮止め保持せしめつつ、シ−ル材を架空配電線の芯線露出個所に外嵌状に当てがうと共に、把持片を閉作動せしめて両側のカバ−部材を係着部材でもって係着せしめることにより取付けるものとされている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、上述の如く構成された従来の電線補修用カバ−は、架空配電線の外径が比較的小径の場合にはその取付けを確実に行なうことが出来るものである。しかしながら、電線補修用カバ−の内径に近似する比較的大径の架空配電線に取付ける場合においては、把持片の挟圧により次第にシ−ル材が架空配電線をカバ−部材の係着側に押圧し、係着部材を外方に向けて変形せしめやすいものである。このため、係着部材による係着が非常にしずらいのみならず、場合によっては係着不能となりやすいものである。特に、両側にヒレを有する難着雪用絶縁電線の場合には尚更である。
