本発明は、折りたたみ時に自立し得るようにし、使い勝手を向上させる折りたたみ式ベビーカーに関するものである。

ベビーカーの折りたたみ構造には、大別して3種類が従来から知られている。ところで、折りたたむことによって前輪が上に持ち上がる構造のベビーカーではその折りたたみ状態で自立させることが困難であるので、従来からバネによって跳ね上がるような形態のスタンドを付設したものも知られている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら従来のスタンドは、折りたたみ時にいちいち操作しなければならないものであったり、支脚の横に大きくはみ出すものであったので、使い勝手が悪い欠点があった。

本発明は上記欠点を解消し、折りたたむだけで自動的に自立し得る態勢になるとともに、普段でも大きくはみ出すことなく使い勝手のよい自立装置を備えた折りたたみ式ベビーカーを提供しようとするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
そのために本発明の折りたたみ式ベビーカは、折りたたみ時に接地する車輪が先端部に回転自在に設けられている支脚の一側に支杆を該支脚に沿って上下に進退自在なるように支持するとともに、該支杆の下端部に接地片を水平方向拡張状に設け、該支杆の上端部を該支脚の折曲支点より下方に延びたハンドル軸の下端部にリンクを介して連結し、折りたたみ時に該リンクによって支杆が押し下げられることで前記接地片が車輪と略々同高に並ぶように構成したことを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
次に本発明の実施の形態を図面と共に説明する。図1は本発明に係るベビーカーの使用時の斜視図、図2はその折りたたみ時の斜視図、図3はその正面図、図4は側面図である。この実施形態に示したベビーカーは、上端部がJ字形に形成された一対の棒状のハンドル軸1,1と、先端部に後方車輪2,2が夫々回転自在に設けられている一対の支脚3,3と、先端部に前方車輪4,4が夫々回転自在に設けられている一対の支脚5,5と、座部シート6とを主要構成部材としている。そして、支脚3,3の上端部はハンドル軸1,1の下端部寄りにピン7により固着した連接具8にピン9を介して枢着することで夫々屈折可能に連接している。また、ハンドル軸1,1の下端部にピン10を介して連接具11を枢着し該連接具11にピン12により支脚5,5の上端部を固着している。13はハンドル軸1,1の上端部寄りと支脚3,3の略中間部との間に張設された開閉自在なX状枠、14は支脚3,3の略中間部と支脚5,5の略中間部との間に張設された開閉自在なX状枠である。前記座部シート6はハンドル軸1,1と支脚5,5間に架設される。15は支脚3,3の略中間部間に架設された屈折可能な2部材からなる水平張杆である。16は支脚5,5間に架設した可撓性の足載せ帯である。

このように本発明に係るベビーカーは、折りたたみ時に接地する車輪が先端部に回転自在に設けられている支脚の一側に支杆を該支脚に沿って上下に進退自在なるように支持するとともに、該支杆の下端部に接地片を水平方向拡張状に設け、該支杆の上端部を該支脚の折曲支点より下方に延びたハンドル軸の下端部にリンクを介して連結し、折りたたみ時に該リンクによって支杆が押し下げられることで前記接地片が車輪と略々同高に並ぶように構成したので、いちいち操作しなくても折りたたむだけで自動的に自立し得る態勢になり、使い勝手が向上するとともに、その機構は支脚の横に大きくはみ出すことなくコンパクトに構成できるので普段の走行時に邪魔にならないなど顕著な効果がある。
