Description
図1を参照して、本発明の実施の形態に係る電力制御装置が搭載された車両について説明する。この車両は、バッテリ100と、インバータ200と、モータジェネレータ300と、コンデンサ400と、システムメインリレー510(SMR(1)500、制限抵抗502、SMR(2)504、SMR(3)506)と、ECU(Electronic Control Unit)600とを含む。本実施の形態に係る電力制御装置は、ECU600が実行するプログラムにより制御される。なお、本実施の形態において、車両はモータジェネレータ300からの駆動力のみにより走行する電気自動車として説明するが、本発明に係る電力制御装置が搭載される車両は電気自動車に限られず、その他、ハイブリッド車、燃料電池車などに搭載してもよい。
本実施の形態に係る動力制御装置について説明する。本実施の形態に係る動力制御装置は、上述の第1の実施の形態に係る動力制御装置の構成と比較して、ブレーキ圧センサ2100、ECU600に代えて、ナビゲーション装置2200、ECU1600を含む点が異なる。ECU1600は、第1の実施の形態に係る動力制御装置を構成するECU600と比べて、プログラムの制御構造のみが異なる。これら以外の構成は、上述の第1の実施の形態に係る動力制御装置の構成と同じ構成である。同じ構成については同じ参照符号が付してある。それらの機能も同じである。したがって、それらについての詳細な説明はここでは繰返さない。

前記回転電機に接続され、前記回生電力を変換して出力するインバータと、
前記インバータと前記二次電池との間に接続され、前記変換された回生電力の電圧を、前記二次電池の定格電圧に変圧して出力するコンバータと、
前記コンバータと前記インバータとの間に前記二次電池と並列に接続され、前記二次電池よりも定格充放電電力が大きくかつ蓄電容量が少ないキャパシタと、
前記二次電池と前記キャパシタとのいずれかを優先的に充電するように切換るための切換手段と、
前記回生電力が予め定められた値以上であるか否かを判断するための手段と、
前記予め定められた値以上であると判断されると、前記二次電池を優先的に充電し、前記予め定められた値以上でないと判断されると、前記キャパシタを優先的に充電するように、前記切換手段を制御するための制御手段とを含む、電力制御装置。 - 前記予め定められた値は、前記二次電池の充電電力の第1の制御上限値および前記キャパシタの充電電力の第2の制御上限値に基づいて設定される、請求項1に記載の電力制御装置。
- 前記予め定められた値は、前記第1の制御上限値および前記第2の制御上限値の和に設定される、請求項2に記載の電力制御装置。
- 前記電力制御装置は、前記車両のブレーキ圧に基づいて、前記回生電力を算出するための手段をさらに含む、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の電力制御装置。
- 制動時に二次電池の定格電圧よりも高い電圧の回生電力を発生する走行用の回転電機を含む車両の電力制御装置であって、
前記回転電機に接続され、前記回生電力を変換して出力するインバータと、
前記インバータと前記二次電池との間に接続され、前記変換された回生電力の電圧を、前記二次電池の定格電圧に変圧して出力するコンバータと、
前記コンバータと前記インバータとの間に前記二次電池と並列に接続され、前記二次電池よりも定格充放電電力が大きくかつ蓄電容量が少ないキャパシタと、
前記二次電池と前記キャパシタとのいずれかを優先的に充電するように切換るための切換手段と、
前記二次電池を優先的に充電しても、予め定められた値以上の電気エネルギを前記キャパシタに充電できるような、大きな回生エネルギが発生するか否かを推定するための推定手段と、
前記大きな回生エネルギが発生すると推定されると、前記二次電池を優先的に充電し、前記大きな回生エネルギが発生しないと推定されると、前記キャパシタを優先的に充電するように、前記切換手段を制御するための制御手段を含む、電力制御装置。 - 前記予め定められた値は、前記車両の運転者の要求に応じた電力を出力することができる値である、請求項5に記載の電力制御装置。
- 前記電力制御装置は、前記車両のブレーキ圧に基づいて、前記回生電力を算出するための手段をさらに含み、
前記推定手段は、前記算出された回生電力に基づいて、前記大きな回生エネルギが発生するか否かを推定するための手段を含む、請求項5または6に記載の電力制御装置。 - 前記推定手段は、前記算出された回生電力に加えて、前記二次電池の充電電力の第1の制御上限値および前記キャパシタの充電電力の第2の制御上限値に基づいて、前記大きな回生エネルギが発生するか否かを推定するための手段を含む、請求項7に記載の電力制御装置。
- 前記推定手段は、前記第1の制御上限値と前記第2の制御上限値との和よりも前記算出された回生電力の値が大きい場合に、前記大きな回生エネルギが発生すると推定するための手段を含む、請求項8に記載の電力制御装置。
- 前記推定手段は、ナビゲーション装置からの情報に基づいて、前記大きな回生エネルギが発生するか否かを推定するための手段を含む、請求項5または6に記載の電力制御装置。
