Claims (6)
- 理論空燃比よりもリーンな排気ガスが流入した場合に酸素を吸蔵し、理論空燃比よりもリッチな排気ガスが流入した場合に吸蔵している酸素を放出する酸素吸蔵能を備えた排気浄化触媒が排気通路に配置された内燃機関に適用される空燃比制御装置において、
前記内燃機関の減速時に前記内燃機関の回転数が燃料カット回転数よりも高いと判断した場合に前記内燃機関へ供給する燃料を停止する燃料カット手段と、前記排気浄化触媒に空燃比が理論空燃比よりもリッチな排気ガスが流入する前記内燃機関の燃料増量運転中に前記排気浄化触媒から放出された放出酸素量が多いほど前記燃料カット回転数を低くして前記排気浄化触媒の容量に応じて定まり、前記排気浄化触媒からの硫化水素の発生を抑制可能な酸素量が前記内燃機関の停止までに前記排気浄化触媒に吸蔵されるように前記放出酸素量と相関する物理量に応じて前記燃料カット回転数を変更する燃料カット回転数変更手段と、を備えたことを特徴とする内燃機関の空燃比制御装置。 - 前記燃料カット回転数変更手段は、前記物理量として前記燃料増量運転中の前記内燃機関の積算吸入空気量を参照し、前記積算吸入空気量が多いほど前記燃料カット回転数を低くするように前記積算吸入空気量に応じて前記燃料カット回転数を変更することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の空燃比制御装置。
- 前記燃料カット回転数変更手段は、前記物理量として前記燃料増量運転が実施された期間を参照し、前記燃料増量運転期間が長いほど前記燃料カット回転数を低くするように前記燃料増量運転期間に応じて前記燃料カット回転数を変更することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の空燃比制御装置。
- 前記燃料カット回転数変更手段は、前記物理量として前記燃料増量運転時の空燃比を参照し、前記空燃比のリッチ側への変化が大きいほど前記燃料カット回転数を低くするように前記空燃比に応じて前記燃料カット回転数を変更することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の空燃比制御装置。
- 前記燃料カット回転数制御手段は、前記燃料増量運転の終了後に前記排気浄化触媒へ供給された供給酸素量が多いほど前記燃料カット回転数を高くするように前記供給酸素量に応じて前記燃料カット回転数を補正することを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の内燃機関の空燃比制御装置。
- 前記燃料カット回転数制御手段は、前記排気浄化触媒の最大酸素吸蔵量が多いほど前記燃料カット回転数が低くなるように前記最大酸素吸蔵量に応じて前記燃料カット回転数を補正することを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の内燃機関の空燃比制御装置。
