Claims (8)
- 複数の気筒の吸気弁のバルブリフト量と作動角の少なくとも一方に対応するリフト特性を連続的に変更可能なリフト・作動角可変機構と、
上記リフト特性を所定の小設定値に制御する運転状態の下で、気筒間のリフト特性のばらつきが大きくなるほど大きくなるように、このリフト特性のばらつきに応じて増減する診断信号を検出する検出手段と、
上記診断信号が所定の基準値を超える場合に、上記小設定値を増加方向へ補正する補正手段と、
を有する内燃機関の可変動弁装置。 - 複数の気筒の吸気弁の作動角の中心位相を連続的に変更可能な位相可変機構を有し、
上記補正手段により上記小設定値を増加方向へ補正する際に、吸気弁の閉時期が変動することのないように、上記位相可変機構により吸気弁の作動角の中心位相を進角させる請求項1に記載の内燃機関の可変動弁装置。 - 吸気通路を開閉するスロットル弁を備え、
上記補正手段により上記小設定値を増加方向へ補正する際に、吸入空気量が変動することのないように、スロットル弁の開度を減少させる請求項1又は2に記載の内燃機関の可変動弁装置。 - 燃料供給を停止する燃料カット運転中には、上記補正手段による上記小設定値の補正を禁止する請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の可変動弁装置。
- 上記診断信号が上記基準値以下の値である所定の基準下限値よりも低い場合に、上記小設定値を低下方向へ補正する低下側補正手段を有する請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の可変動弁装置。
- 上記検出手段が、上記診断信号としてのエンジン振動を検出する振動センサを備える請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の可変動弁装置。
- 上記小設定値が、上記リフト特性の制御範囲における最小値である請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の可変動弁装置。
- 上記リフト・作動角可変機構が、クランクシャフトに連動して回転する駆動軸と、この駆動軸に偏心して設けられた駆動偏心カム部と、制御軸と、この制御軸に偏心して設けられた制御偏心カム部と、この制御偏心軸部に揺動可能に取り付けられたロッカアームと、吸気弁を開閉作動する揺動カムと、上記駆動偏心カム部とロッカアームの一端とを連係する第1リンクと、上記ロッカアームの他端と揺動カムとを連係する第2リンクと、を有する請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の可変動弁装置。
