Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a saddle water faucet suitable when a soft pipe such as a polyethylene pipe is adopted as a water supply main pipe.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, saddle water faucets are known, and those using steel pipes as water supply mains are widely used.
[0003]
On the other hand, in recent years, the development of soft pipes made of synthetic resin, etc. has improved its corrosion resistance and longness, and in combination with lightness and good workability, the soft pipes are supplied to the water supply piping. It is strongly desired to adopt it for the main.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, since the soft pipe has flexibility, there are many opportunities for creep that causes deformation over time and drastic change of water pressure applied to the inside, compared with steel pipe. Is a problem that must be solved when a soft pipe is used as a water supply main. That is, when a soft pipe is used as a water supply main and the branch pipe is branched to the water supply main with a saddle diverter in an uninterrupted state, deformation occurs at the place where the water faucet is installed due to creep or sag. In this case, a gap is formed between the water supply main and the saddle or band, and there is a risk of water leakage. In addition, a branch hole must be drilled in the water supply main pipe at the time of branching. However, since the strength is reduced in the vicinity of the branch hole as compared with other parts, there is a problem that the above-described creep and sag are likely to occur. . On the other hand, it is difficult in terms of physical properties to completely avoid creep and sag of such soft tubes.
[0005]
On the other hand, in the past, when a saddle water faucet was attached to a soft pipe, a construction method in which both were electrofused was used, but this construction method is generally called a dry construction method, and the pipe surface is cleaned. The water faucet must be fused and inspected in a dry atmosphere. Therefore, the construction method using electric fusion takes time and labor for construction, and is unsuitable for on-site construction that requires construction in a wet atmosphere.
[0006]
The present invention has been made in order to solve the above-mentioned problems, and its purpose is to avoid the creep and sag of soft pipes as much as possible, assuming that the construction can be performed in a wet atmosphere, and leakage or breakage of a branch part. In addition, the present invention is to provide a saddle water faucet for a soft tube that can maintain water tightness by absorbing the deformation even if the soft tube is deformed.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above-described object, in the present invention, on the premise that the branch pipe is branched from a soft pipe such as a synthetic resin, a semicircular arc saddle that can be mounted in communication with the branch hole of the soft pipe is provided. A semi-arc-shaped band that can be fastened to the saddle via a flange, and by fastening the saddle and the band with a constant torque, the soft tube is compressed from above and below to be held in a slightly flat shape. Adopted a faucet mounting structure. In addition to this mounting structure, a substantially cylindrical saddle packing having a water passage hole penetrating was used as a sealing structure for the branch hole of the soft pipe. And the said saddle packing has a substantially curved pressure contact portion in close contact with the outer peripheral surface of the soft tube at its lower end, and by providing a V-shaped groove on the inner peripheral surface of the water passage hole, A tapered lip is formed on the inner extension of the press contact portion. The saddle packing is fitted into the saddle, and a structure in which the periphery of the branch hole of the soft pipe is elastically sealed by the press contact portion and the lip when the saddle and the band are fastened. In the invention according to claim 2, the saddle packing is selectively used in such a manner that the outer shape of the saddle packing is formed in a substantially trapezoidal shape.
[0010]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. FIG. 1 is a partial cross-sectional view showing the entire saddle water faucet according to the first embodiment of the present invention, wherein 1 is a plug housing of a T-type water faucet, 2 is an upright hole (A) and a horizontal hole ( B) a ball-shaped valve body, which is rotatably fitted at the intersection of (b) and opens and closes the upright hole (a) and the lateral hole (b) individually or both at the same time. The plug rod 1 can be attached, and the plug casing 1, the valve body 2, and the plug rod 3 constitute a water diversion mechanism.
[0011]
Reference numeral 4 denotes a semi-circular saddle having a fitting hole 4a of the bush 5 through which the plug casing 1 can be erected on the water supply main pipe (H). A receiving hole 4b of a saddle packing 6 to be described later is formed through the portion 4d. Reference numeral 6 denotes a saddle packing having a water passage hole formed therein. The details thereof are as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, and are substantially trapezoidal in appearance and have a V-shaped groove on the inner peripheral surface 6a of the water passage hole 6e. 6b is provided to form a tapered taper lip 6c. The lower end of the saddle packing 6 is a pressure contact portion 6d formed in a substantially curved shape so as to be in close contact with the outer peripheral surface of the water supply main pipe (H), and the lip 6c is formed on the inner extension of the pressure contact portion 6d. It is what I did. Reference numeral 7 denotes a band that is fastened to the flange 4c of the saddle 4 by a bolt via the flange 7a and sandwiches the water supply main pipe (H).
[0012]
On the other hand, ribs 8 and 8 are respectively provided on the flanges 4c and 7a of the saddle 4 and the band 7, and when the saddle 4 and the band 7 are fastened, the ribs 8 and 8 abut against each other and function as a stopper. Thus, the fastening torque of the saddle 4 and the band 7 is regulated. That is, a configuration in which the water supply main (H) can always be clamped with a fixed amount of tightening force, in other words, the water supply main (H) does not have a certain level of tightening force and is always held in the same deformation state. It is possible.
[0013]
Hereinafter, a method of attaching the saddle water faucet having the above-described configuration will be described. First, the water supply main pipe (H) is flattened compressed from above and below by tightening the saddle 4 and the band 7 until the ribs 8 and 8 come into contact with each other. It becomes an oval shape and is sandwiched in a prestressed state. At this time, since the saddle 4 and the ribs 8 of the band 7 are in contact with each other without a gap, the left and right deformed portions of the water supply main pipe (H) do not protrude from between the saddle 4 and the ribs 8 of the band 7. The ribs 8 and 8 also have a function of maintaining the fastening of the saddle 4 and the band 7 at a constant torque and restricting over-tightening. However, as means for applying the torque restriction, the ribs 8 and 8 of the present embodiment can be used. It is also possible to employ a so-called auto-torque bolt that can be fastened with a constant torque in addition to the one according to 8. In addition, the ribs 8 and 8 are preferably tapered from the flanges 4c and 7a, as in this embodiment, from the viewpoint of strength. Of course, it is good as a rib. What is required in the present invention is to prestress the water supply main (H) in advance by sandwiching the water supply main (H) with a saddle 4 and a band 7 under a constant torque in a slightly flat shape.
[0014]
Next, in a state where the water supply main pipe (H) is sandwiched between the saddle 4 and the band 7 as described above, the saddle packing 6 is pushed downward by the step portion 4d of the saddle 4 according to the fastening force, and the pressure contact portion 6d. Comes into close contact with the outer peripheral surface of the water supply main pipe (H), and at the same time, the lip 6c is deformed upward so as to be continuous from the pressure contact portion 6d and comes into close contact with the outer peripheral surface of the water supply main pipe (H). ) Of the branch hole (B). That is, according to the saddle packing 6, a double seal by the pressure contact portion 6d and the lip 6c can be obtained. Further, when water passes through the water diversion mechanism, water enters the V-shaped groove 6b of the saddle packing 6, and a force that is pushed downward by the water pressure acts on the lip 6c, thereby securely sealing the branch hole (B). It can be done.
[0015]
According to the saddle water faucet described above, since the water supply main (H) is prestressed by the saddle 4 and the band 7, the deformation of the water supply main (H) due to the change of the water pressure in the pipe, etc. Absorbed to some extent. Further, the strength around the branch hole (B) of the water supply main pipe (H) is weaker than the others, but since the saddle packing 6 is in close contact with the periphery of the branch hole (B), the branch hole (B When the periphery is to be deformed upward, that is, toward the water diversion mechanism, the lip 6c of the saddle packing 6 acts to suppress the deformation. Therefore, even when a soft pipe is adopted for the water supply main pipe (H), the creep and sag can be avoided, and water leakage and the like can be prevented.
[0016]
On the other hand, when the water supply main (H) cannot be absorbed only by holding it in a flat state prestressed by the saddle 4 and the band 7 as described above. Can be considered. Therefore, the sealing action by the lip 6c in this case will be described. The lip 6c is substantially perpendicular to the inner peripheral surface of the water passage hole 6e before the saddle 4 and the band 7 are fastened, that is, as shown in FIG. Although it is in the protruding state, the saddle 4 and the band 7 are fastened, and as shown in FIG. Further, in this state, when water is passed through the water diversion mechanism, water enters the V-shaped groove 6b, and the force that pushes the lip 6c downward by the water pressure acts, so that the branch hole (B) can be sealed more reliably. .
[0017]
On the other hand, when a sudden change in water pressure occurs inside the water supply main (H), the periphery of the branch hole (B) that is not in contact with the saddle 4 in the water supply main (H) tends to be deformed. However, the lip 6c follows the deformation, and the sealing performance of the branch hole (B) can be maintained. The reason is that, as shown in FIG. 5, when the periphery of the branch hole (B) is deformed inward or outward of the tube, the lip 6c is deformed following the deformation.
[0018]
Here, in this embodiment, when the lip 6c is formed, a V-shaped groove is provided on the inner peripheral surface of the water passage hole 6e, and the lip 6c is tapered so as to expand toward the root. Compared with, strong elastic force corresponding to the thickness of the root can be obtained. Further, since the shape of the saddle packing 6 is substantially trapezoidal in appearance, the saddle packing 6 itself can be made compact and lightweight, and the saddle 4 that accommodates the saddle packing 6 can also be made compact. is there.
[0019]
Next, FIG. 6 shows a second embodiment of the present invention, which is characterized in that a slip stopper 10 is provided on the inner peripheral surface of the band 7. Specifically, a substantially C-shaped protrusion that expands in the axial direction is provided on the inner peripheral surface of the band 7 to form the anti-slip 10. According to this configuration, when the saddle 4 or the like is fastened, the anti-slip 10 is clamped in a state of being sunk into the outer peripheral surface of the water supply main pipe (H), thereby preventing pulsation of the water supply main pipe (H) due to an increase or decrease in water pressure. It is possible to prevent the saddle 4 or the band 7 from being loosened or loose. Here, you may comprise the anti-slip | skid 10 with a notch (notch) and a protrusion.
[0020]
In the above-described two embodiments, the material of the saddle 4 and the band 7 is not particularly limited, and may be made of gunmetal as with the water diversion mechanism. It is suitable for etc. Further, the saddle packing 7 is formed of an elastic material such as rubber, but in the case of rubber, it is preferable to employ one having a hardness of around 60.
[0021]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the saddle water faucet of the present invention, the water supply main is deformed and held in a slightly flat state by the saddle and the band in advance, so that the water supply main will be deformed due to a sudden change in water pressure. In this case, further deformation can be absorbed to some extent depending on the set deformation state. In addition, the saddle and the flange of the band are provided with ribs so that the water supply main is not tightened more than a certain amount, so that the water supply main can be clamped in a constant deformation state, and the further deformation can be absorbed reliably. To be done.
[0022]
Further, since the saddle packing having a lip formed on the inner peripheral surface is adopted as the seal member of the water supply main pipe, a double seal is obtained by the lower edge portion of the saddle packing and the lip. In addition, since the lip moves up and down following the deformation of the water supply main, the water supply main is surely sealed even when a flexible pipe that is easily deformed due to a change in water pressure or the like is adopted. be able to.
[0023]
Furthermore, according to the present invention, when the saddle water faucet is attached to the water supply main pipe, it is only necessary to clean the close part of the saddle packing, so that the wet construction method is possible and the construction is simple. In addition, since a slip stopper is provided on the inner peripheral surface of the band, the water supply main pipe can be firmly held, and a significant operational effect can be obtained such that rattling due to pulsation or the like can be reliably prevented.
