Abstract
【解決手段】
デンプン15〜75質量%、タンパク質5〜50質量%、セルロース繊維3〜50質量%、ポリフェノール類0.5〜20質量%、塩化ナトリウム0〜5質量%となるように各成分を混合し、その混合物100質量部に対して水10〜100質量部を加え、ミキサー等を使用してよくこねる。その後、コップや皿など所定の形状にプレス加工し、120〜180℃で加熱処理をして、生分解性に優れた加工品を得る。

Description
上記の各表において良好な混合・プレス性及び金型成形性がよかった試験番号23及び27について、金型成形したものを150℃で加熱処理し、得られた成形品の引張強度及び曲げ強度について測定した。その結果を、表3に示す。なお、図示はしないが、示差熱分析によると、デンプンは約50〜170℃の範囲で加熱吸熱反応を生じ、コムギタンパクは約30〜140℃の範囲で加熱吸熱反応を生じることがわかった。一方、両者ともに180℃を越えて加熱すると茶褐色に変色した。これらのことにより、加熱処理温度を150℃とした。
次に強度が十分であった上記試験番号23及び27の組成物から得られた成形品の耐水性を評価した。試験番号23については熱湯を成形品に入れ、常温に戻るまで放置することを繰り返したところ、4回の繰り返しを行った後も成形品が膨潤せずに元の形状が維持された。また、塩化ナトリウムを加えた試験番号27については、常温水に浸漬した場合96時間以上膨潤せずに元の形状が維持された。この結果、両者とも耐水性があり、水や熱湯にも耐えうる容器が得られることが確認された。また、これら以外の試験番号の組成物から得られた加工品についても、良好な強度と耐水性を有することが確認された。
上記試験番号23の組成物から得られた成形品の耐熱性を評価した。耐熱性は、熱機械分析(TMA)により評価した。TMAは、セイコーインスツルメント社製のTMA120(雰囲気:窒素 200mL/min,モード:圧縮,荷重:500mN)を用いて、JIS・K−7196「熱可塑性プラスチックフィルム及びシートの熱機械分析による軟化温度試験方法」に準じて行った。その結果を図1に示す。その結果、240℃付近で急激な軟化を示し、200℃前後の耐熱性を有することが確認された。

- デンプン 15〜75質量%
タンパク質 5〜50質量%
セルロース繊維 3〜50質量%
ポリフェノール類 0.5〜20質量%
塩化ナトリウム 0〜5質量%
からなる生分解性組成物。 - デンプン/タンパク質の質量比が1以上12以下である請求項1に記載の生分解性組成物。
- デンプン/タンパク質の質量比が1以上3以下、タンパク質が15質量%以上である請求項1に記載の生分解性組成物。
- セルロース繊維が天然の植物繊維又は人工のセルロース繊維である請求項1〜3の何れか1項に記載の生分解性組成物。
- ポリフェノール類が、ピロガロール、没食子酸の何れか1種又は2種である請求項1〜4の何れか1項に記載の生分解性組成物。
- 請求項1〜5の何れか1項に記載の生分解性組成物からなる生分解性加工品。
- 前記生分解性加工品は、食品用容器、箸、スプーン、フォーク、ナイフ、ボトル、カップ、皿のいずれかである請求項6に記載の生分解性加工品。
- 請求項1〜5の何れか1項に記載の生分解性組成物に加水してこねる工程、
こねた前記生分解性組成物を成形加工する工程、
前記成形物を加熱処理する工程を有する生分解性加工品の製造方法。 - 前記成形物を120〜180℃で加熱処理する請求項8に記載の生分解性加工品の製造方法。
- 前記生分解性加工品は、食品用容器、箸、スプーン、フォーク、ナイフ、ボトル、カップ、皿のいずれかである請求項8又は9に記載の生分解性加工品の製造方法。
