本発明は、ハム,ソーセージ等の細長い塊状のスライス用食品をスライス片に切断する食品スライス装置に係り、特にスライス用食品をほぼ垂直状態に支持しつつ下向きに搬送する搬送手段と、この搬送手段の下方でスライス用食品をその下端から順次スライス片に切断する切断刃とを備えた食品スライス装置に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、ハム,ソーセージ等の細長い塊状のスライス用食品をスライス片に切断する食品スライス装置としては、スライス用食品を横に寝かした状態でその長手方向に搬送し、水平軸心回りに回転する切断刃で切断する「横型」のものと、スライス用食品を傾斜させた状態でその長手方向に搬送し、傾斜軸心回りに回転する切断刃で切断する「傾斜型」のものと、さらにはスライス用食品をほぼ垂直状態に支持しつつ下向きに搬送し、垂直軸心回りに回転する切断刃で切断する「縦型」のものとがある。

このような食品スライス装置にあっては、切断刃に切断されて落下してくるスライス片を、切断刃の下方に配置した受け板,受け櫛,コンベア等の上に受け止めて、所定枚数のスライス片のスタック(堆積物)を形成する場合があるが、その場合、最もスタック性が良好なのは前記のうち「縦型」の食品スライス装置である。すなわち、縦型の場合は切断刃からのスライス片が概ね水平な姿勢で落下してくるため、受け板等の上に積み重ねられた各スライス片に水平方向のずれが生じにくく、形状の整ったスタックが比較的容易に得られるのである。これに対し、前記横型や前記傾斜型の場合は切断刃からのスライス片が縦や斜めの姿勢で落下してくるため、スライス片の堆積状態が乱れやすく、形状が整ったスタックを得るのは難しい。

他方、食品スライス装置にあっては作業の効率化及び省力化を図るため、装置にセットされた複数のスライス用食品(原木)を1本ずつ自動的に切断刃に供給するように構成する場合もあるが、この場合、最も装置の構成が容易なのは前記のうち「横型」の食品スライス装置である。横型の場合は例えば複数のスライス用食品を横に寝かせた状態で若干傾斜した食品載置台の上に載置し、これらのスライス用食品を重力により転がして1本ずつ供給するようなことも可能である。横型に次いで装置の構成が容易なのは傾斜型であり、最も困難となるのは縦型である。縦型の食品スライス装置で、複数のスライス用食品を寝かせた状態に載置した場合は、切断の前にスライス用食品を1本ずつ、ほぼ垂直状態に起立させなければならず、そのため装置の構造が複雑にならざるを得ない。

【課題を解決するための手段】
前記目的を達成するため、本発明は、細長い塊状のスライス用食品をほぼ垂直状態に支持しつつ下向きに搬送する搬送手段と、この搬送手段の下方でスライス用食品をその下端から順次スライス片に切断する切断刃とを備えた食品スライス装置において、前記搬送手段上方のスライス用食品の搬送経路に側方から臨み、複数のスライス用食品をほぼ直立状態に載置可能で、かつ、載置されたスライス用食品の前記搬送経路に向かう移動を可能とする食品載置台を設けるとともに、前記搬送経路をはさんで食品載置台の反対側となる位置に、食品載置台からのスライス用食品を前記搬送手段に送り込むための受け止め部を設け、さらに、食品載置台上のスライス用食品を受け止め部側に押圧付勢する押圧部材を設けたものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の一実施形態に係る食品スライス装置を図面に基づき説明する。図1に全体を符号1で示される食品スライス装置は、スライス用食品の搬送手段2と切断刃3とを備えている。搬送手段2は、ほぼ垂直に立てた状態で対向状に配された一対の食品搬送コンベア4,5から構成されている。一方の食品搬送コンベア4はエアシリンダ6に連結されており、このエアシリンダ6により他方の食品搬送コンベア5に向かって押圧付勢されるようになっている。また、食品搬送コンベア4,5を互いの対向面が下降する方向に回転駆動するコンベア駆動用モータ(不図示)が設けられ、食品搬送コンベア4,5間に上方から供給された細長い塊状のスライス用食品(図には矩形状断面のハム7を示す)をエアシリンダ6の付勢力により両側方からほぼ垂直状態に挟持しながら、下向きに搬送するように構成されている。
