本発明は、方立を備えたカーテンウオール等の建物の外壁に関し、特にガタツキや寸法が変化することのない方立を備えた外壁に関する。

【従来の技術】
家庭電化製品の量販店などの建物は、店舗のイメージを高めるため建物正面部分にガラスパネルを多用したカーテンウオール構造を配したものが多い。カーテンウオールとしては左右に隣接する方立間に無目を連結し、左右に隣接する方立と上下に隣接する無目間にパネルを装着したものが知られている。

図４は、このような建物外壁に使用される方立の一例として公知の方立１４０の水平断面を示すものである。方立１４０は、左右に配置される左部材１４１と右部材１４２とを備えている。左部材１４１にはシール部材１４３ａ、１４３ｂを介してガラスパネル１４５が固定されている。また、右部材１４２にはシール部材１４４ａ、１４４ｂを介してガラスパネル１４６が固定されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、図４に示されている公知の構造や、特許文献１に開示されている構造は、室外側をネジ等の連結部材で固定しているものの、室内側における２部材の連結は嵌合に頼るものである（図４における参照符号１５０、図５における参照符号１３５を参照）。これらのように２部材を組み合わせて嵌合を利用して一体の方立とする場合、嵌合部に所定のクリアランスを設ける必要があり、このクリアランスがあるために必然的にいわゆる「遊び」が生じて、２部材間にガタツキが出るという問題があった。また、ビスで固定されている部分から離隔する位置にある室内側の嵌合部においては、２部材間の間隔が広がって、見た目にも悪くなるという問題もあった。

そこで、本発明は、左右２部材を主要部材として組み合わせて構成された方立を備えた外壁において、前記方立にガタツキが生じず、かつ２部材間の間隔が広がることがなく、見た目にも快い方立を備えた外壁を提供することを課題とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
以下、本発明について説明する。なお、本発明の理解を容易にするために添付図面の参照符号を括弧書きにて付記するが、それにより本発明が図示の形態に限定されるものではない。

請求項１の発明は、左右方向に間隔をおいて立設された複数の方立（１２ａ〜１２ｈ）と、該方立に直交する方向に架け渡された複数の横材（１３ａ〜１３ｊ）と、これら方立及び横材により構成される枠に取り付けられたパネル（Ｐ１、Ｐ２）とを具備する外壁（１０）であって、前記方立は、前記左右方向に配置される２部材（３１、３２）を主たる構造材として備え、前記２部材は室外側及び室内側にそれぞれ係合部（２３、２２）を備えて係合されるとともに、前記室外側の係合部は前記左右方向に前記２部材を引きつける連結部材（３８）により連結固定され、及び前記室内側の係合部は前記左右方向に直交する室内外方向に前記２部材を引き付ける連結部材（２１ａ〜２１ｃ）により連結固定され、前記室内側の係合部を連結固定する連結部材は、カバー（２０）により覆われている外壁を提供して前記課題を解決しようとするものである。

この発明によれば、左右の２部材で構成される方立は、左右２部材が室内側及び室外側の係合部においてそれぞれ連結部材により固定されているので、ガタツキが生じる余地がない。また同様の理由により、方立の室内側、あるいは室外側が広がってしまう虞もない。さらに連結部材はカバーにより覆われるので、例えば連結部材がビス等外観上好ましくないものであったとしても、観者の目に振れることがなく、見た目にも快い方立を備えた外壁を構成することが可能となる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下本発明を図面に示す実施形態に基づき説明する。

図１は、本発明の外壁１０を備えた建物１の正面図である。かかる建物１は、家電量販店等の店舗に多く採用されている。一階部分に出入口１１が設けられ、通常２〜３階建ての構造とされている。正面部分の外壁１０は通常カーテンウオールと呼ばれ、左右方向に間隔をおいて立設された複数の方立１２ａ〜１２ｈと、該方立と直交する方向に方立間に架け渡された複数の横材１３ａ〜１３ｉとが縦横に配置されている。なお、図では横材１３ａ〜１３ｉは横方向に連続しているように見えるが、各方立１２ａ〜１２ｈにより分断されており、各横材それぞれが多数の部材の集合として構成されている。これに対して方立１２ａ〜１２ｈは上下方向に１本ずつ貫かれている。これら方立１２ａ〜１２ｈ及び横材１３ａ〜１３ｉにより構成される枠にシール部材を介して多数のパネル（図１においては後の説明に必要なＡ部のパネルのみ参照符号Ｐ１、Ｐ２を付してある。）が取り付けられて、建物１の正面の外観たる外壁１０（カーテンウオール）を構成している。通常パネルとして、ハーフミラーのガラスパネルが使用されている。
