この種バッグインボックスは、コーヒー、紅茶、ウーロン茶等酸化や細菌に汚染され易い低酸性飲料液や中性飲料液をガスバイヤー性の高い可撓性の袋に、工場に於いて無菌充填されたものを段ボールに収容して出荷する。この袋には液体注入口部と兼用された液体注ぎ口部(場合によっては別構造のものもある)が設けられているが、使用時までは袋の密封状態は確保され、飲料液の酸化や雑菌の混入を避ける必要があって、特にこの部分での液漏れや外気との接触が問題となる。従来装置としては、例えば図5に示す実開昭63−99852号公報に開示のものがあった。これは図5−Aに示されるように弁棒(ロ) が筒心方向にスライド自在に取り付けられ、コイルばね(ハ)を介して頭部が流通孔(ニ)を閉塞する弁部材(イ)を有していて、これにコネクタ(ホ)を装着させると図5−Bに示されるようにコネクタの装着にともない軸心棒(ヘ) が弁棒(ロ) をスライドさせ、流通孔(ニ) を開放するものである。ところがこの装置によると運搬時等の未使用時に弁部材(イ)の頭部に突起物等が当たると弁棒(ロ)がスライドして弁が開き液漏れや外気との接触を起こしてしまうという問題があった。

従来のこの種のバッグインボックスの液体注入出口部材を具体的に示したものが、図6(簡易タイプのF型注出口)と図7(密封効果の高いコック−クロジャーを介するT型注出口)であるが、それぞれ使用時に用いるコックキャップが別構造のものとなっている。ちなみにF型注出口には首部に雄ネジ2-1 が切られており、出荷時には雌ネジ20-1の切れた封止キャップ20がはめられて密封が確保されている。使用時にはその封止キャップ20に替えてコックキャップ11が用いられるが、そのコックキャップ11は、一端がノズルとなり他端部にはレバーが形成されているパイプ状の部材(コックノズル)15、袋の注ぎ口と嵌合する円環部16-1と前記パイプ状の部材15を回動自在に嵌合保持する部分16-2が一体となったコックボディ部材16及び前記円環部16-1を袋の注出口に嵌合固着するための締着部材17とから構成されている。この嵌合固着はF型注出口首部の雄ネジ2-1 と上記締着部材17の雌ネジ17-1との螺合によってなされている。レバー15-2によってパイプ状部材が回動させると回動位置に対応してコックが開閉して液が注出・停止するようになっている。
なお、該パイプ状部材15のレバー部分15-2には爪15-1が一体的に設けられており、コックボディ16に設けられた爪受け部と嵌合し、使用時までレバー15-2の回動がロックされている。使用時には該爪15-1を折って回動可能とするものである。
