Description

【0001】
【0029】

Figure 0003955387
【0030】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a packaging container made of cardboard and a method for bonding its lid to the container body.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Paper packaging containers have been various in the past, but are generally made of cardboard, such as coated cardboard, having a white surface layer on the front side and a used paper layer recycled from the used paper on the back side.
[0003]
FIG. 4 shows a conventional wrap film container, which is also made of coated cardboard. In this type of container, the back surface of the opening piece 94 connected to the front wall 92 of the lid body 90 via the perforation 93 is connected to the container body 91 so that the lid body 90 does not open from the container body 91 during the distribution process. Generally, it is adhered to the surface of the front wall 95. When using a wrap film, the lid 94 can be opened and closed by separating the unsealing piece 94 along the perforation 93 and peeling it from the front wall 95 of the container body 91. The wrap film can be pulled out.
[0004]
It is desirable that such a wrap film container can be peeled off with a small force so that even a weak person can handle it. On the other hand, the opening piece 94 needs to be bonded with a sufficient adhesive force so that the lid 90 does not open during the distribution process, for example, during conveyance.
[0005]
In order to respond to this conflicting request, conventionally, as shown in FIG. 4, the opening piece 94 is bonded to the surface of the front wall 95 of the container body 91 only by a circular bonding area 96 provided at appropriate intervals, The other parts are in a non-adhered state to adjust the sealing ability. Further, in order to make it easier to peel off the opening piece 94, a half-cut line is made at the boundary between the adhesive area 96 and other portions.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the above conventional configuration, when the unsealing piece 94 is peeled off from the front wall 95 of the container main body 90, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the adhesion area 96 is deeply removed, and the gray or brown color of the area 96 is removed. There is a problem that the waste paper layer 97 is exposed and looks bad.
[0007]
There is also a method to peel off the used paper layer on the back side of the opening piece 94 without making a half-cut line in the bonding area 96, but the peeling residue of the used paper layer such as gray remains on the front wall of the main body, which solves the above problem It has not been.
[0008]
In addition, the diameter of the conventional adhesive area 96 surrounded by the half-cut line is about 9 mm, but printing cannot be performed on this part, and the amount of information for the user or the consumer is limited. There is also a point.
[0009]
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and its purpose is that it can be easily opened at the start of use, but it is possible to reliably prevent the lid from being opened during the distribution process, and the gray waste paper after opening It is an object of the present invention to provide a packaging container in which no layer appears and a method for bonding the lid.
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a method for bonding a lid to a container body of a packaging container made of cardboard having a white surface layer on the front side and a waste paper layer on the back side. Adhesive is applied to a predetermined part of the back surface of the container, and the adhesive is infiltrated into the used paper layer of the part, and the part of the surface of the container body that is in contact with the adhesive of the lid is adhered to the surface of the container except for the predetermined adhesive area. The process of applying the paint for prevention, the process of bonding the lid to the bonding area of the container body with an adhesive, and the adhesive area so that peeling occurs on the surface of the bonding area when opening the bonded lid And a step of determining an area.
[0011]
When the packaging container is for wrapping a wrap film, aluminum foil, paper, or the like wound in a roll shape, the predetermined portion on the back surface of the lid body is an opening piece to be removed from the lid body at the time of opening. It becomes the part of the back side.
[0012]
In the packaging container made by the above method, the adhesive penetrates into the used paper layer of the lid and is cured. In addition, the adhesive has a uniform thickness by being pressed between the front wall of the container body (coating for preventing adhesion is applied except in the bonding area) and the back surface of the opening piece (lid). It becomes a strip-shaped continuous layer having a certain hardness. By using an appropriate adhesive, the continuous layer of the adhesive can have a strength sufficiently exceeding the peel strength required for peeling the surface layer portion of the adhesive area from the front wall of the container body at the time of opening. .
[0013]
In general, the peel strength of coated cardboard is weaker in the back layer than in the front layer, and it is considered that the back layer is more likely to peel if the two pieces are simply pulled together when the open piece is peeled off. It is done.
[0014]
However, as described above, the adhesive is infiltrated into the surface of the back layer, and at the same time, the adhesive applied to the surface of the back layer is formed as a continuous continuous belt-like layer with a uniform thickness. The tension does not occur between the surface layer and the back layer of the coated cardboard, but occurs between the entire adhesive continuous layer having a certain thickness that has penetrated the back layer and the adhesive area, and peels off from the surface layer side. Whether to peel from the back layer side is determined by the force relationship between the two peel strengths. Therefore, by forming the adhesive layer as a cured continuous layer having a substantially constant thickness between the front layer and the back layer, the used paper layer of the lid does not peel off when opened, and the surface side of the container body It can be guided to peel off.
[0015]
In addition to the above, the depth of peeling when the surface layer peels can be adjusted by appropriately determining the area of the adhesion area, that is, the magnitude of the pulling force that the surface layer receives from the back layer upon opening.
[0016]
Based on the above knowledge, the inventors of the present application make the area of the adhesive area as small as possible while adopting the configuration of the adhesive layer / the back layer of the lid body that has penetrated into the surface layer of the container body / the back layer of the lid body. Thus, it has been found that peeling can occur in the white surface layer of the container body, preferably in the vicinity of the surface, while maintaining the sealing ability of the opened piece.
[0017]
Examples of suitable adhesives for exhibiting the above-described effects include aqueous vinyl acetate resin emulsions, modified vinyl acetate-acrylic resin copolymers, and vinyl acetate-acrylic resin copolymers.
[0018]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a container 2 according to the present invention for packaging a roll-shaped wrap film as an article to be packaged, and shows a state in which a part of an opening piece is cut off for opening. . The container 2 is made of a single cardboard, preferably coated cardboard with a basis weight of 270 to 600 g / m 2 . As shown in FIG. 2, the coated cardboard has a coat layer 4a made of a transparent resin for improving printing characteristics, a white first surface layer 4b made of a transparent bleached kraft pulp, and a bleached kraft pulp. And a white second surface layer 4c made of deinked pulp (recycled recycled pulp) and a plurality of waste paper layers 6a to 6e made of recycled recycled paper. In the present specification, the coat layer 4a, the first surface layer 4b, and the second surface layer 4c are excellent in aesthetics even if they are broken at any depth position. One surface layer 4 is treated. Further, although there are a plurality of used paper layers 6 a to 6 e, this is also described as one used paper layer 6.
[0019]
As shown in FIG. 1, the container 2 is provided integrally with a container main body 8 for storing a wrap film (not shown) wound around a cylindrical paper core in a roll shape, and the container main body 8. And the lid body 10.
[0020]
The container body 8 includes a rectangular bottom wall 12, a front wall 14 and a rear wall 16 that extend vertically upward from each long edge of the bottom wall 12, and a vertically front surface that extends vertically from each short edge of the bottom wall 12. Side walls 18 and 18 are provided to connect the opposing ends of the wall 14 and the rear wall 16. Moreover, the upper part of the container main body 8 is open | released as an opening part for drawing out a wrap film.
[0021]
The lid body 10 has a rectangular top wall 20 that extends continuously from the top edge of one rear wall 16 of the container body 8 and substantially covers the opening of the container body 8, and each short edge of the top wall 20. Lid side walls 22, 22 extending vertically to the container body 8 side, and lids extending vertically from the front long edge of the top wall 20 and connecting the front end portions of the lid side walls 22, 22 And a front wall 24. A saw blade-like cutter 26 for cutting the drawn wrap film is attached to the back surface of the front edge of the lid front wall 24.
[0022]
Before opening, as shown in FIG. 1, an opening piece 30 is connected to the front edge of the lid front wall 24 via a perforation 28. A portion formed by the lid front wall 24 and the opening piece 30 has substantially the same size and shape as the front wall 14 of the container body 8. Therefore, when the opening of the container body 8 is closed by the top wall 20 of the lid body 10, the lid body front wall 24 and the opening piece 30 are overlapped with the front wall 14 of the container body 8. In this superposed state, the opening piece 30 is bonded to the lower surface of the front wall 14 of the container body 8 by the adhesive 32.
[0023]
More specifically, the unsealing pieces 30 are bonded to each other only by a plurality of circular bonding areas 34 arranged in a straight line at appropriate intervals on the lower surface of the front wall 14 of the container body 8. The adhesion area 34 is defined by applying a transparent paint (reference numeral 36 in FIG. 3) for preventing adhesion to other areas on the surface of the front wall 14. The diameter of the bonding area 34 is about 1.5 to 6.0 mm, preferably 2.0 to 4.0 mm. Further, the adhesive 32 sufficiently penetrates into the used paper layer 6 of the coated cardboard to form a layer, and the layer has such a strength that the surface layer of the coated cardboard is peeled off, for example, an aqueous vinyl acetate resin emulsion or a modified vinyl acetate- Examples thereof include an acrylic resin copolymer and a vinyl acetate-acrylic resin copolymer.
[0024]
The adhesive 32 may be applied to the back surface of the opening piece 30 around a portion corresponding to the bonding area 34 in a considerably larger area than that portion. However, since the existing adhesive applicator applies the adhesive 32 in a strip shape along the longitudinal direction of the opening piece 30, along the line connecting the portions corresponding to the adhesive area 34, FIG. Thus, it is preferable to apply the adhesive 32 with a width that is considerably larger than the diameter of the bonding area 34. After the application of the adhesive 32, the opening piece 30 is superimposed on a predetermined position of the front wall 14 of the container body 8 and pressed with a predetermined pressure until the adhesive 32 is completely cured. During this time, the adhesive 32 penetrates from the back surface of the unsealed piece 30 to the depth of the waste paper layer 6 to form a continuous layer and is cured.
[0025]
In the container 2 assembled through such an adhesion process, the adhesion area 34 is small, but the above-described vinyl acetate resin aqueous emulsion, modified vinyl acetate-acrylic resin copolymer, vinyl acetate-acrylic resin copolymer, etc. When an adhesive is used, sufficient adhesive strength and strength as a continuous layer can be obtained, and the opening of the lid body 10 during the distribution process can be reliably prevented. Moreover, since the adhesion area 34 is small, the opening piece 30 can be peeled off with a slight force. When the opened piece 30 is peeled off, the used paper layer 6 of the opened piece 30 is solidified as an adhesive that has penetrated into the inside and the continuous layer 32, so that the material is not broken. On the other hand, in this case, the container body 8 is peeled off from the front wall 14 side, but since the area of the adhesive area 34 is small, the pulling force from the opening piece 30 is also small, and as shown in FIG. It peels in the middle of the cardboard coat layer 4a, the first surface layer 4b, or the second surface layer 4c. When these layers 4a, 4b, and 4c are peeled off, the remaining portions are transparent or white, so that the appearance is good.
[0026]
As mentioned above, although preferred embodiment of this invention was described in detail, it cannot be overemphasized that this invention is not limited to the said embodiment. For example, in the above embodiment, the material of the container is a coated cardboard made up of a coat layer, a surface layer, an intermediate layer, and a used paper layer, but it may be a cardboard made up of at least a white surface layer and a used paper layer. Further, the shape of the contact area is not limited to a circle but may be a polygon or the like. Of course, the content packaged by the container of the present invention is not limited to the wrap film. Furthermore, the present invention can also be applied to a container having no opening piece, that is, a container in which the lid itself is bonded to the container body and peeled off.
[0027]
【Example】
Next, the results of experiments conducted by applying the present invention to a typical wrap film container will be described. In the experiment, the diameter of the adhesion area was changed, and the peeling state of the front wall of the container body was examined for each. Table 1 shows the results.
[0028]
In this experiment, a container having outer dimensions of approximately 310 mm in length, approximately 46 mm in width, and approximately 46 mm in height, which was prepared using coated cardboard having a basis weight of 400 g / m 2 was used. Further, six contact areas were provided at intervals of about 54 mm. As an adhesive, a vinyl acetate resin aqueous emulsion (trade name: Life Bond P-8100H) manufactured by Nichiei Kako Co., Ltd. was used. In addition, an adhesive was applied, and the unsealed piece and the front wall of the container main body were overlapped and pressed for 2 days.
[0029]
[Table 1]
Figure 0003955387
[0030]
From the above table, it can be seen that the depth of peeling gradually increases as the diameter of the contact area, that is, the area, increases. From this result, it will be understood that the peeled portion can be kept on the surface layer by appropriately changing the area of the contact area, even if the type of adhesive or the pressure is different from the above.
[0031]
Further, the adhesive strength was measured for two types of contact areas of 2.5 mm diameter and 3.5 mm diameter. The former was peeled off with a pulling force of 201 g, and the latter was peeled off with a pulling force of 210 g. If the tensile force is 120 g or more, there is no particular problem with the adhesive strength, and it can be seen that it is effective to set the adhesive area to a diameter of about 2.5 to 4.0 mm in combination with the results in the above table.
[0032]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, when the opened piece is peeled off, it can be peeled off at the intermediate portion of the white surface layer of the front wall of the container body, and an excellent result in terms of appearance can be obtained.
[0033]
In addition, in order to obtain the above effect, it is necessary to reduce the adhesion area. In this case, the printing area increases, and the amount of information for the user or consumer can be increased.
