本発明は、衛生用綿紙を一定長さで包装装置に供給するための切断装置に関する。

【従来技術の問題点】
衛生用ガーゼの代用品である綿紙は、帯状の10枚ないし20枚程度の薄い不織綿紙を2ミリ程の厚みに重ね合せたものを、端から順次一定長さにカットして形成され、かかるカツト作業を包装装置のスピードに合せるために、能率を考慮してロータリカツターを使用する。しかし綿紙はその性状が空気を含んで膨らむ特性を備えるので、前記綿紙を正確に切断するには2枚のカツト刃の隙間を厳格に設定する必要があり、また刃の使用摩耗により前記隙間が次第に拡大するので、その都度刃の隙間調整の必要がある。しかしながら従来のロータリー刃の隙間は黙視による調整構造であつたから、正確な隙間調整に時間のかかる欠点があった。

そこで本発明は綿紙を能率よく正確な角形に切断するために、帯状綿紙の移動域を隔てて回転刃との対向域に、該回転刃の方向に刃先を向けて設置した平刃を、前記回転刃の方向にスライド調整する手段であって、前記調整手段は機台に固定したマイクロメータからなり、該マイクロメータは前記平刃の端縁に当接する変位ピンが、ハンドルの回転操作による内部のねじ作用で軸方向に伸縮して前記平刃に対する圧力を調整するタイプである一方、前記回転刃の軸は両端に、該軸と同心で掘削可能材によって形成したリング状ストッパーを固定し、前記回転刃と平刃との隙間を調整するため該平刃を回転刃に接近させるとき、同平刃でもって前記リング状ストッパーを削りながら回転刃との隙間を確保するごとく構成する。

綿紙を連続切断する回転刃と平刃との隙間が摩耗によって許容値以上に拡大した場合、マイクロメータのハンドル回転によって変位ピンを軸方向に押し出して前記平刃と回転刃との隙間を調整するが、この場合、前記平刃でもって前記リング状ストッパーを削りながら回転刃との隙間を確保する。

図1に示すごとく両側の壁状フレ−ム10の間に支持する回転刃11は、チェンホイル12からの入力で回転する軸13の外面に、同軸方向に沿って板状の刃14を所定のリ−ドをつけて固定して形成する。

前記両側フレ−ム10の間に架設したベ−ス15と、各フレ−ム10それぞれに固定した板16との間の隙間に平刃17をスライド自在に設置し、前記両フレーム10の間に架設した台材18の上に載せた2本のマイクロメ−タ20を押さえ材21で前記台材18に固定する。なお、かかる構成の側面は図2および図3に示すごとくである。

前記のマイクロメータ20は、ともにハンドル22の回転操作による本体内部のねじの作用によって先端の変位ぴん23が軸方向に伸縮し、前記平刃17をベ−ス15の上面をスライドして回転式の刃14に接近させることができる。この場合平刃17の両端は、回転刃の軸の両端に固定した硬質プラスチック製のリング状ストツパ−25を削りながら僅かづつ回転刃に接近する。なお前記のストッパ−25の設置目的は、前記平刃17が大きく動いて前記の2つの刃14,17が衝突するのを回避するためである。

図2のごとく台材18に固定した板ばね30の端をマイクロメータのハンドル20の側面に押し付け、該ハンドルの空回りを防止し、また図3に示すように平刃17をベース15にセットボルト31で固定して回転刃14との隙間を固定、つまり一定に維持する。なお図3において平刃17の上に存在する三角形のガイド32は、その上面をスライドして移動する綿紙33の案内角度を保つガイドバーである。

図2における上下一対の引き出ロール34、35の回転で移動する綿紙33を、回転刃11の回転によつて一定ピッチに切断する。この回転刃のスピ−ドは早いほど刃14のリ−ドによる綿紙の斜め切断面は直角になるので、実施例では回転刃11を大径に形成する。

前記のごとく切断したカット綿紙60は次々と図2におけるガイド面36に落下し、チェン37に取り付けたアタッチメント38は前記カット綿紙60を一定間隔で上下2枚の包装用フイルム40、41の間に送り込むので、図6のごとくカット綿紙60は2枚のフイルム40、41によって包装される。
