本発明は、粉末あるいは粒状物などの内容物を収納し、密封性があり、かつ易開封性を有する易開封密封カートンに関する。

【従来の技術】
従来より、粉末あるいは粒状物などの内容物を収納する密封カートンは、内容物が湿気を嫌う物が多く、カートンの開封前の密封性が良いこと、内容物の飛散防止機能を有していること、開封が容易に行えること、開封後のリクローズ性があること、そして低コストであることなどが必要であった。
種々の形態があり、その例としては、図8(a)に示すように、胴部の開口端部をシール性を持たせたグラシン紙等でトップシールして防湿性と内容物の飛散防止性を与え、全開できるヒンジ付きの被せ蓋を取り付けた密封カートンを挙げることができる。また、別の実用例として図8(b)に示すように、2重の胴部の外壁パネルのみを帯状の引き裂き片を水平に引き裂いて取り除くことにより、胴部と被せ蓋に分離し、直ちに中身を取り出せるようにした密封カートンを挙げることができる。

【実施例】
本発明による易開封密封カートン1を家庭用の粉末洗剤に適用するべく、図1に示すようなブランクを用いて、容器のサイズが、高さ151mm、幅150mm、奥行き80mmで、内容量が1200gである直方体の易開封密封カートンを試作した。また、開封面の高さは41mmとした。
材料として使用した板紙は、防湿性のある板紙であるネオサンド(本州製紙株式会社製の商品名)の坪量505g/m2 を使用した。
以上の仕様によって試作した本発明による易開封密封カートン1の開封および再封を確認したところ、老人を含む10人のパネラーが全員摘まみ片を上方に持ち上げるだけの弱い力の操作で、容易に開封ができ、また容易に再封もできることが確認された。また、開封の時に粉末洗剤が蓋部に残ることがなく、飛散することはなかった。

本発明によれば、簡単な操作で容易に開封ができ、内容物に対する密封性も良く、容易に再封もでき、しかも必要最小量の坪量の板紙を使用することにより形成することができる。
また、中身の粉末が胴部に回り込むことがないため、開封時の粉末の飛散が防止でき、かつ、カートン本体の開口部の切り取り線と蓋部の開口部の切り取り線とをずらしていることによってシールエンドカートンの密封性は保持されている。
さらに、100%が紙製であるので、使用後の廃棄処理が容易でありリサイクル性が良いといった特徴のある易開封密封カートンを得ることが出来る。
