キャップcの周壁の天板側の位置には前述のように複数のスリットs1が円周方向に隔てて形成されているため、吹き付けられた洗浄液はスリットs1を通してキャップの内側の口部とキャップとの間の隙間g内に入り込み、キャップの開口部(図で下側)から外に流出する。これによりキャップ内面に噴射された液体Lを用いて毛細管現象を利用して隙間gの洗浄を効果的に行うことができる。この場合、容器の口部外周のねじ山部分に前記特許文献2に示されるように、ベントスリットが形成されていれば、そのベントスリットを通して外部に排出するのでより効果的である。なお、キャップの天板と容器口部の開口端とは密着しているので、洗浄液が容器内に入ることはない。
