Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an arm-mounted portable electronic device that is mounted on an arm and carried.
[0002]
[Prior art]
For example, mobile phones are becoming smaller and more multifunctional, and can be easily stored in a pocket or handbag of clothes and easily carried.
However, such a mobile phone has a disadvantage that it is impossible to make a call immediately because it is necessary to take it out from a pocket or a handbag when making a call.
Therefore, conventionally, an arm-mounted type mobile phone that can be worn on the arm and carried is studied. As this arm-mounted mobile phone, there is one in which a band is attached to a device main body equipped with a telephone function, and the device main body is attached to the arm with the band and carried.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, such an arm-mounted mobile phone can be worn while being worn on the arm, so that a phone call can be made promptly when an incoming call is received. Since the arm must be fixed in the state of being close to the mouth or ear, there is a disadvantage that the arm on which the device body is mounted cannot be freely moved during a call.
In addition, such a mobile phone is configured so that the band can be easily detached from the arm, and the device body is detached from the arm and held in the hand during a call, and in this state, the call is made close to the user's mouth or ear. However, such a structure has a disadvantage in that it is necessary to make a call while holding the main body of the device during a call.
[0004]
The problem of the present invention is that it can be worn on the arm and carried, and when listening to sound such as during a call, it can be easily worn on the ear without holding the device body in the hand or wearing on the arm. It is to be able to hear sounds such as voice.
[0005]

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an embodiment in which the portable electronic device of the present invention is applied to a mobile phone will be described with reference to FIGS.
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a cellular phone according to the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing a state in which a device main body and a mounting member are separated from a band member in the cellular phone of FIG.
As shown in FIG. 1, this mobile phone is of a wristwatch type, and includes a device main body 1 equipped with a telephone function and a clock function as a sound generating function, a mounting member 2 to which the device main body 1 is attached, an arm And a band member 3 to which the device main body 1 and the mounting member 2 are connected so as to be able to contact and separate.
[0010]
As shown in FIG. 2, the device main body 1 has a substantially circular shape when viewed from the front (upper side in FIG. 2), and a shape in which the vicinity of the 1 o'clock side and the vicinity of the 5 o'clock side of the outer peripheral portion protrude slightly outward. Is formed. A circular display window 4 is provided in the center of the front surface of the device body 1. In addition, various electronic parts necessary for the telephone function and the clock function, for example, various parts such as a display element, a speaker, a microphone, a communication part, a circuit board, and the like are housed in the main body 1. The device main body 1 is provided with various key buttons (not shown) necessary for a telephone function and a clock function.
[0011]
In this case, the display element is a flat type such as a liquid crystal display element or an EL element (electroluminescence element), and is configured to display various information such as an incoming message and time in an electro-optical manner. One display window 4 is arranged corresponding to the inside. The speaker generates sound such as a ringing melody or received voice, and is arranged corresponding to the sound emitting unit 5 provided in the center of the back surface of the device main body 1 as shown in FIG. The microphone converts a sound such as a sound into an electric signal and outputs it. As shown in FIG. 3, the microphone is connected to a sound receiving portion 6 provided at a protruding portion near the 1 o'clock side on the front of the device body 1. Correspondingly arranged. The key buttons may be provided around the front of the device main body 1, but it is desirable that a transparent touch panel is provided on the surface of the display window 4 and is provided on this touch panel.
[0012]
The mounting member 2 has both an arm mounting function for mounting on an arm as shown in FIG. 6 and an ear hooking function for hooking on an ear as shown in FIG. 7. As shown in FIG. Are pivotally attached by a pair of pivotal connecting shafts 7. In this case, the mounting member 2 is formed in a substantially C shape that is detachably mounted on the arm and ear by a synthetic resin that can be elastically deformed to some extent, and the width thereof is formed to be approximately half the width of a normal watch band. ing. That is, the lower end of the mounting member 2 is spaced apart at a predetermined interval, and the two separated end portions are pushed against the elastic force so as to be detachable from the arm as shown in FIG. As shown in FIG. 7, it is configured to be worn on the ear by being mounted and formed in a substantially C shape.
[0013]
Further, an attachment recess 8 to which the device main body 1 is attached is formed in an intermediate portion of the mounting member 2. The mounting recess 8 is formed in a substantially semicircular recess shape in which almost half of the outer periphery extending from the 12 o'clock side through the 3 o'clock side to the 6 o'clock side is disposed. As shown in FIG. 3, rotating connection shafts 7 are provided so as to protrude toward the device main body 1 at locations facing the opposing surfaces, that is, near the 12 o'clock side and near the 6 o'clock side. As shown in FIG. 4, these rotation connecting shafts 7 have respective front end portions facing each other, and each bearing hole provided in a protruding portion of the device body 1 near the 1 o'clock side and near the 5 o'clock side. A direction in which the device main body 1 and the mounting member 2 are closed close to each other is inserted into the portion 9 with a predetermined holding force, that is, a frictional force that does not allow the device main body 1 to rotate freely by its own weight. It is comprised so that rotation is possible in the direction opened apart from each other.
[0014]
On the other hand, the band member 3 is detachably attached to the arm as shown in FIG. 6, and the whole is formed into a substantially ring shape as shown in FIG. The lower part is separated, and the separated both end parts are configured to be detachably connected by the connecting metal fitting 11. In this case, the band member 3 is formed so that its width is approximately half of the width of a normal watch band. Further, the upper portion of the band member 3 is formed to be thick with substantially the same thickness as the device main body 1 so as to hardly elastically deform. The device main body 1 is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the thick upper portion. A fitting recess 10 is formed in which approximately half of the outer periphery extending from the 12:00 side through the 9:00 side to the 6 o'clock side is detachably fitted. Further, the lower side of the band member 3 is formed with a thickness sufficiently smaller than the thickness of the upper side in order to be easily elastically deformed and attached to the arm. As shown in FIG. 2, it is comprised so that the both ends isolate | separated in the lower part of the band member 3 may be connected / disengaged.
[0015]
Further, the band member 3 and the mounting member 2 are connected to each other and locked to the upper portions on both the front and rear sides of the band member 3, that is, the upper portions of the side surfaces located near the 12 o'clock side and the 6 o'clock side. A pair of locking members 12 are provided. As shown in FIGS. 5A and 5B, the lock member 12 includes an operation button portion 13, a lock claw 14, and a spring member 15. The operation button portion 13 is disposed in the operation recess 16 of the band member 3 so as to be movable in the protruding and retracting direction (vertical direction in the figure) via the spring member 15, and in this state, the operation recess 16 is operated by the spring force of the spring member 15. It is urged in the direction of pushing out from the inside (downward in the figure). As shown in FIGS. 5A and 5B, the lock claw 14 is provided integrally with the operation button portion 13, and is operated in the guide hole 17 that is continuous with the operation recess 16 of the band member 3. It is arranged so as to be movable in the same direction (up and down direction in the figure) as the direction of appearance of 13.
[0016]
In this case, as shown in FIG. 5A and FIG. 5B, the lock claw 14 is bent at a right angle in the guide hole 17, and its tip is directed from the inside of the guide hole 17 toward the side surface of the mounting member 2. The hook portion 18 is provided at the protruding portion. The hook portion 18 is removably inserted into an engagement recess 19 provided on the side surface of the mounting member 2, and is engaged with an engagement protrusion 20 provided in the engagement recess 19 so as to be detachable. It is configured. In this case, the hook portion 18 is formed on the inclined surface at the back side (right side in the figure) of the engagement recess 19 of the mounting member 2, and the engagement protrusion 20 of the engagement recess 19 is A portion located on the band member 3 side is formed on an inclined surface parallel to the inclined surface of the hook portion 18. The guide hole 17 provided in the band member 3 is provided on the side surface of the mounting member 2 when the side surfaces of the band member 3 and the mounting member 2 are in close contact with each other, as shown in FIG. It is comprised so that it may correspond corresponding to the engaging recessed part 19.
[0017]
In such a lock member 12, with the band member 3 and the mounting member 2 mounted on the arm, the device main body 1 and the mounting member 2 are brought close to the band member 3, and as shown in FIG. When almost half of the outer peripheral portion of the main body 1 on the 9 o'clock side is fitted into the fitting recess 10 of the band member 3 and the mounting member 2 is brought into close contact with the band member 3, as shown in FIG. After the hook portion 18 of the claw 14 is inserted into the engagement recess 19 and the hook portion 18 climbs over the engagement protrusion 20 against the spring force of the spring member 15, the engagement protrusion is caused by the spring force of the spring member 15. 20, thereby locking the band member 3 and the mounting member 2. In the lock member 12, when the operation button portion 13 is pressed against the spring force of the spring member 15, the lock claw 14 is pushed in the guide hole 17 in the pressing direction as shown in FIG. (In the figure, upward), the hook portion 18 is also moved in the same direction along with this, and is disengaged from the engagement protrusion 20 in the engagement recess 19 of the mounting member 2, thereby the band member 3. The lock with the mounting member 2 is released.
[0018]
Next, the operation of such a wristwatch type mobile phone will be described.
When carrying this cellular phone, the band member 3 is first attached to the arm as shown in FIG. At this time, both separated end portions of the lower portion of the band member 3 are spread and attached to the arm, and the separated both end portions are connected by the connecting metal fitting 11 in this state. Thereby, the band member 3 is attached to an arm. In this state, the mounting member 2 to which the device main body 1 is attached is mounted on the arm. At this time, the mounting member 2 is formed in a substantially C shape, and both ends of the lower part thereof are separated by a predetermined interval. Therefore, by pressing and extending the separated both end portions against the elastic force, as shown in FIG. As described above, the mounting member 2 can be mounted on the arm.
[0019]
In this state, the device main body 1 and the mounting member 2 are moved toward the band member 3, and almost half of the outer peripheral portion located on the 9 o'clock side of the device main body 1 is fitted into the fitting recess 10 of the band member 3. At the same time, the side surface of the mounting member 2 is brought into close contact with the side surface of the band member 3. Then, since the width of each of the mounting member 2 and the band member 3 is substantially half the width of a normal watch band, when the mounting member 2 and the band member 3 are in close contact with each other, the width is almost the same as the normal watch band. Thus, the mobile phone can be carried in the same manner as a wristwatch. At this time, as shown in FIG. 5A, the guide hole 17 of the band member 3 and the engagement recess 19 of the mounting member 2 correspond to each other, so that the band member 3 and the mounting member 2 are automatically moved by the lock member 12. Can be locked.
[0020]
That is, the lock claw 14 of the lock member 12 protrudes from the guide hole 17 of the band member 3, and the protruded hook portion 18 is inserted into the engagement recess 19 of the mounting member 2, so that the inclined surface of the hook portion 18 Since the inclined surfaces of the engaging protrusions 20 are in contact with each other, the hook portion 18 and the engaging protrusion 20 slide relative to each other along the inclined surfaces. As a result, the hook portion 18 rides over the engagement protrusion 20 against the spring force of the spring member 15. Then, the hook portion 18 is engaged with the engagement protrusion 20 by the restoring force of the spring member 15, whereby the band member 3 and the mounting member 2 are automatically locked. For this reason, the mounting member 2 can be reliably attached to the arm by the band member 3, and the device main body 1 can be securely fixed to the arm and carried well, similarly to the wristwatch. In this state, it is possible to view information such as the time displayed on the display element through the display window 4 by operating the key button to set the clock mode.
[0021]
Further, when making a call using this cellular phone, first, the mounting member 2 is detached from the band member 3 as shown in FIG. At this time, as shown in FIG. 5B, the operation button portions 13 of the pair of lock members 12 provided on the band member 3 are pressed against the spring force of the spring member 15. Then, the lock claw 14 is pushed by the operation button portion 13 and moves in the guide hole 17 toward the device main body 1 side (the upper side in the figure), so that the hook portion 18 is disengaged from the engagement protrusion 20 of the engagement recess 19. The band member 3 and the mounting member 2 are unlocked by the lock member 12. In this state, when the device main body 1 and the mounting member 2 are moved away from the band member 3, the device main body 1 and the mounting member 2 are separated from the band member 3, as shown in FIG. Thus, the mounting member 2 can be removed from the arm together with the device main body 1.
[0022]
Thus, when the apparatus main body 1 and the mounting member 2 are removed from the arm, in a state where almost half of the outer peripheral portion located on the 3 o'clock side of the apparatus main body 1 is disposed in the mounting recess 8 of the mounting member 2, Since the device main body 1 is in a state orthogonal to the mounting member 2, that is, the device main body 1 is opened at about 90 ° with respect to the mounting member 2, the device main body 1 does not interfere with the mounting member 2. The device body 1 can be worn on the ear. At this time, since the device main body 1 is orthogonal to the mounting member 2, the device main body 1 is mounted in a state orthogonal to the ear. For this reason, as shown in FIG. 7, the back surface of the apparatus main body 1 can be brought into close contact with the ear by rotating the apparatus main body 1 with respect to the mounting member 2 in the closing direction about the rotation connecting shaft 7. Thereby, since the sound emission part 5 provided in the back surface of the apparatus main body 1 can be made to respond | correspond to an ear hole, the other party's voice can be heard favorably.
[0023]
Thus, according to this mobile phone, the mounting member 2 to which the device main body 1 is attached has both the ear-hooking function and the arm mounting function, so that the device main body 1 can be mounted by mounting the mounting member 2 on the arm. It can be attached to the arm and carried, and by placing the mounting member 2 on the ear, the device body 1 can be easily mounted on the ear and talked without having to hold the device main body 1 in the hand or on the arm. . In this case, since the mounting member 2 and the device main body 1 are rotatably attached by the rotation connecting shaft 7, the device main body 1 is relatively positioned with respect to the mounting member 2 when the device main body 1 is put on the ear. By rotating and opening, the apparatus main body 1 does not get in the way, and the mounting member 2 can be easily put on the ear, and the apparatus main body 1 is rotated relative to the mounting member 2 in a closing direction. The apparatus main body 1 can be brought into close contact with the ear, thereby making a good call.
[0024]
In this cellular phone, the band member 3 that is detachably attached to the arm is provided with a fitting recess 10 in which almost half of the outer periphery of the device body 1 is detachably fitted, and is attached to the side surface of the band member 3. When the side surfaces of the member 2 are in close contact with each other, with the band member 3 and the mounting member 2 mounted on the arm, approximately half of the outer peripheral portion of the device body 1 is fitted in the fitting recess 10 of the band member 3. When the side surface of the mounting member 2 is brought into close contact with the side surface of the band member 3, it becomes the same form as a wristwatch, so that the device body 1 can be mounted on the arm and carried well as in the wristwatch. In particular, since the band member 3 and the mounting member 2 attached to the arm can be reliably locked by the lock member 12, the device main body 1 is securely attached to the arm without the device main body 1 falling off from the arm when being carried. Can be fixed and carried.
[0025]
In addition, although the case where the lock member 12 was provided in the band member 3 was described in the said embodiment, not only this but the lock member 12 may be provided in the mounting member 2. In this case, the operation recess 16 and the guide hole 17 are provided in the mounting member 2, the engagement recess 19 and the engagement protrusion 20 are provided in the band member 3, and the spring member 15 is interposed in the operation recess 16 of the mounting member 2. The operation button portion 13 is disposed, the lock claw 14 is disposed in the guide hole 17 continuing to the operation recess 16, and the hook portion 18 of the lock claw 14 can be inserted into and removed from the engagement recess 19 of the band member 3. And may be configured to be detachably engaged with the engagement protrusion 20 of the engagement recess 19. Even such a structure has the same effects as the above-described embodiment.
[0026]
In the above embodiment, the case where the speaker and the microphone are provided in the device main body 1 is described. However, the microphone is not necessarily provided in the device main body 1 and may be provided in the band member 3. In this case, both the device main body 1 and the band member 3 are provided with short-range wireless standard transmission / reception units, respectively, and the audio data captured by the microphone is transmitted to the device main body 1, and the transmitted audio data is transmitted to the device main body. May be configured to transmit to the other party. If comprised in this way, while the apparatus main body 1 can be comprised compactly and since a telephone call can be carried out sufficiently away from a speaker and a microphone, what is called a howling which a microphone picks up the sound from a speaker. Can be prevented.
[0027]
Furthermore, in the above-described embodiment, the case where the telephone function and the clock function are applied to the mobile phone mounted on the device main body 1 as the sound generation function has been described. However, the present invention is not limited thereto, and electronic components such as a speaker, a microphone, and a memory element are used. Widely used in portable electronic devices such as portable recording / playback devices and portable audio devices equipped with other sound generation functions, such as recording / playback functions equipped with audio Can be applied.
[0028]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, a device main body equipped with a sound generation function,An elastically deformable synthetic resin mounting member that is detachably mounted on either the outer periphery of the arm or the periphery of the ear, and a closing direction in which the back surface of the device body is in close contact with the ear with the mounting member mounted around the ear And a rotation connecting part that connects the device main body to the mounting member so as to be rotatable in the opening direction away from the ear., The mounting member on the armOuter circumferenceBy attaching toAttached to the mounting member by a rotating connectionYou can carry the device body on your armThe AlsoWhen listening to the sound from the sound generation function of the device body, remove the mounting member from the arm together with the device body.Wear around the earTherefore, it is possible to easily listen to the sound by attaching it to the ear without holding the device main body in the hand or attaching it to the arm. in this case,When mounting the mounting member around the ear, by rotating the device body in the opening direction in which the back surface of the device body is separated from the ear,The device body does not get in the way and you can easily listen to the mounting memberWear aroundCan be in this stateBy rotating the device body in the closing direction where the back of the device body is in close contact with the ear,The device main body can be brought into close contact with the ear, and thus the sound can be heard satisfactorily.
[0029]
And a band body that is detachably mounted on the outer periphery of the arm, and that is detachably attached to the mounting member mounted on the outer periphery of the arm. Since the attachment member can be attached to the arm, and the attachment member can be detachably attached in a state where the attachment member is brought close to and close to the band body, the attachment member can be attached to the arm together with the band body. Also, since the microphone provided in the band main body is provided, the device main body and the microphone can be sufficiently separated from each other, so that the microphone picks up the sound from the sound generation function of the device main body. Howling can be prevented. In addition, the mounting member is provided with a mounting recess in which approximately half of the left and right sides of the device body are fitted and attached, and the band body is provided with a fitting recess in which the other half of the left and right sides of the device body is fitted. Therefore, when the mounting member is brought close to and close to the band main body, it can be attached by fitting almost half of the left and right sides of the device main body to the mounting concave portion of the mounting member, and at the fitting concave portion of the band main body. The other half on the left and right of the device body can be fitted,As a result, the same form as that of the wristwatch can be obtained, so that the device body can be mounted on the arm and carried well like the wristwatch.further,The band member is provided on one of the band member and the mounting member, and includes a lock member that is detachably engaged with the other member and locks the band member and the mounting member. And the mounting member can be reliably locked by the lock member, so that the device main body is not dropped from the arm when being carried, and the device main body can be securely fixed to the arm and carried.
