Abstract
【解決手段】異なる色を発光する複数の光源の発光輝度を検出する光検出装置を備え、前記光検出装置の検出結果に基づいて前記複数の光源のうち少なくとも1つの光源の発光輝度を制御する光源制御装置であって、前記光源より発せられた光を所定方向へ反射する反射部材に貫通孔を設け、前記反射部材を挟んで前記光源側とは反対側に、前記光検出装置を設け、前記貫通孔に対して光伝播部材を設ける構成とした。

Description
本実施形態にかかる液晶表示装置のブロック図を図8に示す。第一の実施形態と異なるところは、LED12が異なる複数の色を発光するのではなく、単色のみを発光すること、及び光源としてLEDのみでなく、蛍光管(CCFL)81を備え、当該CCFL81を駆動するCCFLインバータ82を有することである。
第三の実施形態に係る照明装置としてのバックライト装置を、図14及び図15を用いて説明する。
第四の実施形態に係る照明装置としてのバックライト装置を、図16及び図17を用いて説明する。
第五の実施形態に係る照明装置としてのバックライト装置を、図19及び図20を用いて説明する。
第六の実施形態に係る照明装置としてのバックライト装置を、図22を用いて説明する。
第七の実施形態に係る照明装置としてのバックライト装置を、図28を用いて説明する。図28の構成では、ある導光体281から光源配置基板25の光源配置側とは相対する側に透過した光を、プリズム(色分離手段)282を用いて各色に分離し、それぞれの光を検出するようにしている。

Claims (16)
- 異なる色を発光する複数の光源の発光輝度を検出する光検出装置を備え、
前記光検出装置の検出結果に基づいて前記複数の光源のうち少なくとも1つの光源の発光輝度を制御する光源制御装置であって、
前記光源より発せられた光を所定方向へ反射する反射部材と該反射部材が設けられたシャーシとに貫通孔を設け、
前記シャーシの前記光源側とは反対側に、前記光検出装置を配置し、
前記貫通孔に前記光源からの光が伝播可能な光伝播部材を挿通したことを特徴とする光源制御装置。 - 前記光伝播部材は凸部を有し、当該凸部が前記貫通孔に嵌合していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光源制御装置。
- 前記光伝播部材は、前記光源よりも突出した高さを有することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の光源制御装置。
- 前記光検出装置は、前記貫通孔を透過し、色分離手段により分離された光を検出することを特徴とする請求項1乃至3の何れかに光源制御装置。
- 前記シャーシの前記光源側とは反対側に、前記光検出装置が収納される収納室を有し、
前記光源から発せられる光が、前記収納室を透過するのを防止することを特徴とする請求項1乃至4の何れかに記載の光源制御装置。 - 前記反射部材及び前記シャーシは、前記貫通孔を複数有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至3の何れかに記載の光源制御装置。
- 前記複数の貫通孔を透過する光のそれぞれについて、前記光検出手段へ入力するか否かを個別的に制御可能な開閉手段を備えたことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の光源制御装置。
- 前記複数の貫通孔を透過する光のそれぞれについて、前記光検出手段へ入力する光の透過波長を選択する透過波長選択手段を設けたことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の光源制御装置。
- 前記シャーシの前記光源側とは反対側に、前記複数の貫通孔を透過した光を、前記光検出手段へと導光する背面導光体を備えたことを特徴とする請求項6乃至8の何れかに記載の光源制御装置。
- 前記シャーシの前記光源側とは反対側に、前記光検出装置が収納され、前記複数の貫通孔の配置範囲を覆う大きさの収納室を備え、
前記光源から発せられる光が、前記収納室を透過するのを防止することを特徴とする請求項6乃至9の何れかに記載の光源制御装置。 - 前記光検出装置を複数備えたことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の光源制御装置。
- 前記複数の貫通孔を透過した光を、前記複数の光検出装置にて検出することを特徴とする請求項11に記載の光源制御装置。
- 前記シャーシの前記光源側とは反対側に、前記複数の光検出装置それぞれが収納される収納室を複数有し、
前記光源から発せられる光が各収納室を透過するのを防止することを特徴とする請求項11又は12に記載の光源制御装置。 - 前記光源はLEDと蛍光管を含む一方、前記光伝播部材は基体及び複数の保持部を有し、
前記複数の保持部にて前記蛍光管の位置関係を所定の間隔に保つことを特徴とする請求項1乃至13の何れかに記載の光源制御装置。 - 請求項1乃至14の何れかに記載の光源制御装置を用いたことを特徴とする照明装置。
- 請求項15に記載の照明装置と、液晶パネルとを備えたことを特徴とする液晶表示装置。
