開閉機の中折れ式ゲートバーは、手元側バーと先端側バーとを上下方向に屈伸可能に連結してなるもので、実開平7−37850号、特開平8−199846号、実開昭59−69060号は各種の中折れ式ゲートバーについて開示する。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
実開昭59−69060号の中折れ式ゲートバーの連結部は金属で形成されているので、ゲートバーが重く、そのためゲートバーを開閉させる駆動部への負担が大きい。また、いずれの中折れ式ゲートバーも単にリンク装置として構成されるものであるに過ぎないので、バーの屈伸前後においてバーを適正位置に保持し難い場合がある。
