Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a device for preventing a head-on accident at an intersection, for example. More specifically, a device that prevents a head-on accident by encountering a car that jumps out of a side road with poor visibility by providing a sensor and a warning sign on the road reflector will be provided.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, at intersections with poor visibility such as T-junctions or crossroads, road reflectors are installed at the corners, and cars and people trying to enter the intersection from another route are projected on the road reflectors. The projected images are visible from each other's route. In particular, when exiting a narrow T-junction, the situation where cars and people are approaching the intersection can be sufficiently observed through the image of the road reflector, so it is installed at many intersections. In addition, for example, a self-luminous road fence is buried on the central road surface of the intersection with the upper surface exposed, and a solar cell attached to the self-luminous road fence blinks a night or day / night LED to make a vehicle approaching from a distance Means such as notifying the existence of an intersection are taken.
[0003]
In addition, as an encounter head accident prevention device, for example, in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 9-59943 filed by the present applicant, a vehicle running toward an intersection is detected by a vehicle detection sensor in front of the intersection, and light is emitted upon receiving the detected information. A light-emitting sign body and a light-emitting sign board are both installed in front of an intersection on the same route, and a vehicle that approaches the intersection is urged to stop before the intersection, thereby preventing a head-on accident. Prior art is disclosed. Further, in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 8-106600 by the present applicant, a marking means is provided in front of the road A side intersection where road A and road B intersect, and a vehicle entering the intersection from road B is detected by a sensor. In addition, a head-on accident prevention system is disclosed in which the detection signal is sent to the marking means wirelessly to be labeled to alert the driver traveling on the road A.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, on narrow roads, etc., a road reflector is installed at each intersection for safety measures, and it is driven slowly while looking at the image displayed on the road reflector, but sometimes it is overlooked and an accident occurs, or Even if we are careful, there are cases where the other party has jumped out and cannot avoid the accident, and even if there is no car from the side road, it must always be carefully decelerated. On the other hand, at the self-luminous intersection 鋲, a vehicle coming from a distance is informed of the location of the intersection, decelerated, and alert driving such as a temporary stop before the intersection is made, jumping out from the side road You will not be able to confirm or mark any cars that will be in advance.
[0005]
Further, in the above two examples of the head-on accident prevention device or system, the vehicle detected by the sensor is urged to temporarily stop by emitting light from the embedded light emitting indicator and the light marker plate that have received the detection signal. For this reason, the above information is not transmitted to a vehicle approaching the intersection from another route, and no alert is made between them. At the same time, installation of this equipment requires a large amount of money for installation work and electrical work for embedding light-emitting markers and light-emitting sign boards on the road surface. On the other hand, a system that sends information about cars entering the intersection between at least two lines intersecting at the intersection to another vehicle that is approaching the intersection by sending a radio signal is very effective for preventing head-on accidents. However, it is difficult to install in various places because of the large capital investment. In particular, there is a problem that installation space for facilities cannot be secured at small intersections. In addition, if there is radio interference, it may malfunction and not function.
[0006]
In order to solve such problems, the present invention is used in combination with an ordinary road reflector to detect an approaching vehicle from a route projected on the road reflector, and the detected information is combined with the vehicle in the opposite direction together with the road reflector. Therefore, it is an object of the present invention to provide an apparatus for preventing head accidents in combination with road reflectors that can be installed at low cost with a relatively simple structure and can be maintained at low cost.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention has been made to solve the above problems, and the road reflector combined use head accident prevention apparatus according to the present invention includes a road reflector, a sensor for sensing at least a person and a vehicle, and the sensor A warning device that emits light and / or sound in response to the received signal, so that the sensor and the warning device are directed separately in the first and second route directions projected on the road reflector. A road accident mirror combined use head accident prevention device, which is equipped with a sensor above the pillar to which the road reflector is attached and a caution warning device made of a light emitter in the middle of the pillar, and further above the pillar. A solar cell panel is attached, and the electric power is stored by a power storage device provided on the support column so that electric power is supplied to the light emitters day or night. It is characterized in.
[0008]
That is, the sensor is mounted in the first route direction projected on the road reflector, and the caution warning device is attached to the vehicle entering the intersection in the second route direction, for example, coming from the first route direction. At the same time that the sensor senses the car and sends a sensing signal to the caution warning device, light and / or sound is emitted from the caution warning device in the second route direction, so the vehicle tries to approach the intersection from the second route direction. Cars sense the information and watch the road reflectors, and take action to avoid the approaching cars reflected on the road reflectors. At intersections where the first route is a priority road and the second route is a side road, a sensor should be provided in the direction of approach to the intersection on the side road side, and a warning warning should be given to vehicles approaching the intersection from the priority road. On the other hand, if the vehicle traveling on the priority road is detected by the sensor and the information is given to the vehicle approaching the intersection from the side road, if the warning is issued before the intersection, the stop will be protected and the head will be met. Accidents can be prevented. Also, if the first and second routes are both equivalent, attach a sensor and a caution warning device that makes a pair in both directions, so that a caution warning will be given to vehicles coming from either side. Can be emitted.
[0009]
The caution warning device is preferably a light-emitting body in which a point light source such as an LED or a flash is turned on or blinking, and the strong light emitted from the point light source toward the approaching vehicle tends to be noticed by the driver. You can check the approaching car by looking at the road reflector. In addition, if an LED is a light-emitting sign board in which a large number of LEDs are arranged and predetermined characters and symbols or characters and symbols that can be changed as appropriate are lit or flashed by the action of a control device, etc. Appropriate action can be taken because the approach can be known. Furthermore, if a sound generation device is provided alongside the lightning sign board, it is possible to make a warning warning with light and sound very effectively.
[0010]
On the other hand, a solar cell is mounted above a support or a nearby support to which a road reflector is attached, and the electric power is stored by a power storage device provided below the support or the support. Or, if power is supplied to the caution warning device at night, it can be installed even in a place where commercial power cannot be supplied, and each device is integrated with or near the pillar of the road reflector. Since it is attached to the support body, the wiring work becomes very simple and its maintenance cost is low.
[0011]
As described above, when the sensor and the caution warning device are both attached to the support column to which the road reflector is attached, and the solar battery and the power storage device as the power supply device are attached to the same support column as a unit. Since at least the sensor, the caution warning device, and the power supply device can be directly connected with a short wiring, they can be easily attached to and function not only on new road reflectors but also on existing road reflector posts.
[0012]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Next, the embodiment of the head accident prevention apparatus combined with a road reflector according to the present invention will be specifically described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is an installation perspective view showing an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a plan layout view in which the embodiment of FIG. 1 is placed at an intersection.
[0013]
1 and 2, a support column 1 is erected on a T-junction where a branch road A and a main line B intersect each other with poor visibility, and two road reflectors 2 are connected to the support line 1 between the branch path A and the main line B. It is set to an angle that can be projected. Further, a thermal sensor 3 is directed in the branch road direction above the support column, and two light emitters 4 are attached in the middle direction of the support column in both directions of the main line. Further, a solar battery panel 5 is attached to the upper part of the road reflector 2 and a power storage device 6 is attached to the lower part of the support column 1 and connected by wiring, and power is supplied to at least the light emitter 4.
[0014]
More specifically, the road reflecting mirror 2 is in a normally installed state, and a thermal sensor 3 and a light emitter 4 are paired on the column 1 and are provided side by side with the road reflecting mirror 2. The car C1 approaching the intersection from the branch road A with poor visibility is sensed in advance by the thermal sensor 3, and at the same time, the light emitter 4 emits light toward the car C2 traveling on the main line B. That is, if the light emitter 4 is caused to blink only for a certain period of time until the car C1 sensed in the direction of the branch road enters the main line, the car C2 traveling toward the T-junction during that time. Since it senses the flashing of the illuminant 4 from a distance, it predicts the approach of the car C1 from the branch road, decelerates, and carefully checks the road reflectors and travels. Therefore, even if the car C1 jumps out of the branch road, a head-on accident can be avoided in advance. Even when the road reflector becomes cloudy due to condensation or water droplets, the caution warning device operates to alert the driver.
[0015]
A commercial power source is generally used as the power source of the thermal sensor 3 and the light emitter 4. In other words, since there are many densely populated areas at intersections with poor visibility, it is possible to easily receive power from nearby places. Moreover, since sunlight is blocked in such a place, it is difficult to receive enough sunlight to receive power. However, in places such as mountainous areas where it is difficult to supply commercial power, or where sunlight can be sufficiently supplied, it is possible to receive power effectively when the solar cell unit is attached to the support column or a nearby support. , Power can be supplied to the apparatus.
[0016]
The thermosensitive sensor 3 is generally a pyroelectric element. The pyroelectric element changes its temperature due to infrared rays incident from a moving body such as a car or a person, and the electric charge corresponding to the degree of the change is generated. Therefore, the presence or absence of the moving body can be detected by the pyroelectric current due to the generated charge. By using the pyroelectric element in this way, infrared light from a car or the like enters and the pyroelectric element starts to operate, so that almost no power consumption of the thermal sensor itself is required. As the pyroelectric element, electrodes are generally attached to pyroelectric elements such as lithium tantalate, lead titanate, and glycine sulfate, and a window material having good infrared transparency such as silicon is attached to the front surface. A thermal sensor is constructed by packaging. It should be noted that there is no need for a detection signal of a car moving away from the intersection, so for example, a plurality of the pyroelectric elements are arranged one-dimensionally in the packaging, and the pyroelectric current generated in each of the plurality of pyroelectric elements is sent to the microcomputer controller. If it is made to input and the microcomputer control part makes it delete the signal which moves away, it will become possible to detect only the approaching vehicle. Further, by providing a Fresnel lens or the like on the front surface of the thermal sensor, the detection area can be freely set according to the road width to be installed.
[0017]
The light emitter 4 is arranged on a light guide plate that clearly indicates a warning sign such as “right-hand vehicle warning”, for example, by arranging LEDs along predetermined characters. The warning sign such as the “right vehicle caution” is blinked for a certain period of time. The blinking operation time may be the time period until the car sensed by the sensor enters the intersection, and if the car comes out at the intersection even part of the car body, the car coming from the side can be detected Therefore, there is no need to blink the light emitter. In addition, the marking character of the said light-emitting body should just be a character suitable for an installation place, or an easy-to-understand symbol, and is not specifically limited. In addition, the light emitter may be simply turned on or blinked as an aggregate of LEDs, and strong light may be emitted forward. However, a sign body in which a large number of LEDs are arranged changes characters and symbols appropriately by a controller. When a plurality of information boards are provided, the meaning of the sign is clearly shown, and the driver can be alerted more effectively. For example, a warning whistle or a sound may be generated as a sound generating device together with the light emitting body. That is, in places where direct sunlight during the day hits the illuminant and it becomes difficult to see the light of the illuminant, means for alerting the driver with a horn or voice may be taken. However, since it is not preferable in a residential area where noise problems or the like are likely to occur, it is appropriately selected according to the installation location.
[0018]
The road reflector combined use head accident prevention apparatus according to the present invention is an example of implementation in which the T-shaped road is dealt with in FIGS. 1 and 2, but the head-on accident may occur in other cross roads, or may be an L-shaped route, a deformed intersection, It is difficult to identify places where accidents occur such as sharply curved points in mountainous areas. The mounting state of the road reflector is different depending on the state of the intersection or the corner route, and the mounting structure of the thermal sensor and the light emitter is different accordingly. In other words, because the duty of stopping temporarily differs depending on the intersection with the road that gives priority to one of the routes and the intersection with the equivalent route, the thermal sensor is attached to the temporarily stopping route side and the temporarily stopping on the priority road side It is preferable that information is reported. However, in places where it is necessary to be alerted on both routes, two pairs of thermal sensors and illuminants are attached alternately so that the intersection can be approached from either route. However, the approach information on the other route may be obtained.

A warning warning device such as a light emitter is attached to the column where the road reflector is installed, and the information of the car coming out from the side road is informed to the driver by flashing light such as a light emitting sign board, so it is an intersection from a distance A car approaching the vehicle decelerates by seeing the flashing light, and when it approaches the intersection, it passes while gazing at the road reflector, thus preventing a head-on accident. Furthermore, even if the surface of the road reflecting mirror becomes cloudy due to condensation, raindrops, or snowfall, and the function as a mirror is lost, the danger is recognized by the caution warning device such as the illuminant, thus preventing an accident. Further, when a heat sensitive sensor and a caution warning device such as a light emitter are paired and connected to a power source, such a function can be easily obtained, so that the function can be easily added to an existing road reflector facility. Therefore, expensive equipment costs and extensive wiring work are not required, and malfunction does not occur because there is no radio interference.
