Description

【0001】

[0004]
On the other hand, in banking financial institutions, when handing over banknotes to customers, it is customary to collect and transfer all banknotes face up, so banknote deposit and withdrawal devices used in financial institutions have a banknote transport path. A front / back reversing mechanism is provided to reverse the front and back of banknotes in one place, and when a reverse-side banknote is sent, it is branched to reverse the front and back using the switchback method and return to the original transport path. The two sides are made to come together by joining. This inversion is performed either during the deposit process or during the withdrawal process.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the conventional banknote depositing / withdrawing apparatus, it is essential to provide a front / back reversing mechanism in the middle of the transport path when it is necessary to arrange the front and back of the banknotes. In other words, the structure of the transport path is not only complicated, but also the apparatus is increased in size and the cost is increased.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
It is an object of the present invention to provide a banknote depositing / withdrawing apparatus that can arrange banknotes without providing a front / back reversing mechanism and can reduce the size, simplify, and reduce the cost of the apparatus. It is.
[0007]
As a means for solving the above-mentioned problems, the present invention is configured to transfer the banknotes inserted into the deposit port one by one and identify them with the identification unit, store only the banknotes that can be deposited in the batch temporary storage unit, A depositing process for feeding out banknotes in the batch temporary storage unit and classifying and storing them in a plurality of storage units, and dispensing and identifying necessary banknotes from the storage unit on the basis of a withdrawal command, and withdrawing only banknotes that can be withdrawn. In the banknote depositing / withdrawing apparatus that performs dispensing processing for dispensing to the banknote, the plurality of storage units include a plurality of denomination storage units and a single batch storage unit, the denomination storage unit, the batch storage unit, and Each of the batch temporary storage portions has an inlet / outlet portion in which the bill entrance and exit are the same, and the bill moving direction is reversed at the time of storing and at the time of feeding, and each of these inlet / outlet portions is a bill in one direction. Each loop is connected to a loop-shaped transport path. When the banknotes of the batch temporary storage unit are fed out and classified and stored in a plurality of storage units, the banknotes on one side of the front and back sides are stored in the money type storage unit, and the banknotes on the other side of the front and back sides are stored in the batch storage unit. And when the replenishment command issued when the amount of banknotes stored in each denomination storage unit decreases, the banknotes on the other side of the front and back stored in the batch storage unit are fed out and stored in the denomination storage unit. A control means is provided, and the front and back of the banknotes in each storage unit are arranged.
[0008]
In consideration of the case where the denomination storage unit is full, when the banknotes of the collective temporary storage unit are fed and classified and stored in a plurality of storage units, the denomination storage unit stores the denomination from the amount that can be stored in each denomination storage unit. When the amount of banknotes to be stored in the bank is larger, at least the number of banknotes to be stored in the denomination storage section is stored in the collective storage section. It can be made to carry out the classification | category accommodation to each said accommodating part later.
[0009]
When replenishing the front and back sides when replenishing from the deposit slot, the banknotes on one side of the front and back sides are stored in the batch temporary storage section when sorting and storing the replenished banknotes inserted into the deposit slot into a plurality of storage sections. The banknotes on the other side of the front and back sides are stored in the denomination storage unit, and the banknotes on the other side of the front and back sides stored in the batch temporary storage unit are fed out after completion of the classification storage or at the time of replenishment command. It can be made to house.

It can be made to collect the bills side to the reject collection unit.
[0011]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention will be described below with reference to embodiments shown in the drawings.
[0012]
FIG. 1 is a schematic side view of an embodiment of a banknote depositing / withdrawing apparatus. A depositing port 2 is provided at the upper front of the apparatus main body 1. Part 4 is provided. The feeding unit 4 includes a belt 5 that horizontally conveys banknotes, a reverse roller 6 that is in contact with the upper surface of the belt 5 to separate the banknotes one by one, and a banknote on the upper surface of the conveyor belt 5. In order to prevent the lifting, the front end is constituted by a presser plate 8 or the like that is pivotally supported so as to descend toward the back side by the urging of the spring 7, and the driving of the conveying belt 5 is performed by a dedicated motor M. 1 It is done by.
[0013]
An identification conveyance path 10 having a deposit identification portion 9 that identifies the denomination, authenticity, correctness, front and back, etc. of the deposited banknotes after the rear end of the conveyor belt 5 to determine whether or not depositing is possible is a U-shape in side view. The end of the identification transport path 10 extends to a center position in the front-rear direction of the apparatus main body 1 and continues to the deposit transport path 11 disposed in the vertical direction.
[0014]
The lower end of the deposit conveyance path 11 is folded back near the bottom of the apparatus main body 1 and continues to the withdrawal conveyance path 12 extending in the vertical direction in parallel with the conveyance path 11, and the withdrawal conveyance immediately after the folded section. A withdrawal identification unit 13 is provided in the road 12. The upper part of the withdrawal conveyance path 12 constitutes a part of the identification conveyance path 10 between the feeding section 4 and the deposit identification section 9, thereby constituting a loop-shaped conveyance system. Yes. These transport systems are dedicated motors M 2 Is driven only in one direction.
[0015]
A banknote dispensing port 14 is disposed immediately below the banknote depositing port 2, and a reject collecting unit 15 is disposed immediately below the banknote depositing port 2. A banknote replenishing and collecting cassette is disposed below the reject collecting unit 15. A collective storage portion 16 also serving as an opening is provided so that the front door 17 of the apparatus main body 1 can be opened and removed.
[0016]
The withdrawal port portion 14 includes a belt 19 stretched between front and rear pulleys at a position that substantially coincides with the level of the upper edge of the opening portion of the withdrawal port 18 that opens to the front surface of the apparatus body 1. A receiving plate 21 that is positioned directly below the belt 19 and moves up and down in a horizontal position via an elevating mechanism 20 driven by a driving means such as a solenoid (not shown). On the side, an impeller 22 is provided for scraping the rear end of the bills fed onto the receiving plate 21 so that the bills can be satisfactorily accumulated on the receiving plate 21. Rollers 23 and 23 are pivotally supported at front and rear positions of the receiving plate 21 so that a part of the peripheral surface protrudes from the upper surface of the receiving plate 21, and the banknotes are smoothly withdrawn by driving the belt 19. A part of the port 18 projects into the mouth 18 so as to be removable.
[0017]
The reject collection unit 15 is composed of a tray-like storage cassette having an open upper surface, and can be pulled out by opening the front door 17 of the apparatus main body 1.
[0018]
A belt for reversely guiding the banknote of the withdrawal port portion 14 by switching the switching claw 24 from the entrance side end position of the belt 19 of the withdrawal port portion 14 to the entrance portion of the reject collection unit 15. 25 and 26 are provided so that the banknote can be stored in the reject collection unit 15 when the banknote is rejected. The belt 19 and the impeller 22 of the withdrawal port portion 14 are a dedicated motor M. 3 Driven by.
[0019]
On the back side of the apparatus main body 1 with respect to the deposit conveyance path 11, four storage portions 27, 28, 29, 30 that can store bills and feed them one by one are arranged in the vertical direction. These storage units 27 to 30 have the same entrance and exit of the banknotes, and have an entrance / exit part 31 in which the direction of movement of the banknotes is reversed between storage and delivery. It is connected to the deposit conveyance path 11.
[0020]
Since each of the storage units 27 to 30 has the same configuration, how to use the storage unit or whether to use as a collective temporary storage unit for temporarily storing banknotes at the time of deposit. Can be set freely.
[0021]
The outline of the internal structure of each storage unit will be described by representing one of them (the uppermost storage unit 27). One rotary drum 34 is pivotally supported, and two kinds of tapes 35, 36 are wound around the periphery of the rotary drum 34, and one of the tapes 35 is an upper part inside the inlet / outlet portion 31 of the housing 33. Is wound around a take-up shaft 39 via a pulley 37 and an intermediate pulley 38, and the other tape 36 is passed through another pulley 40 and an intermediate pulley 41 located at the lower inner side of the inlet / outlet portion 31. It is wound around the winding shaft 42. And each part is a dedicated motor M 4 (M 5 , M 6 , M 7 ).
[0022]
Therefore, when storing banknotes, the rotating drum 34 rotates forward (rotates counterclockwise in FIG. 1) and the banknotes fed from the inlet / outlet portion 31 are sandwiched between the tapes 35 and 36, and the circumference of the rotating drum 34 is increased. When the banknotes are drawn out and stored sequentially, the rotary drum 34 is driven reversely (rotates clockwise) so that the banknotes sandwiched between the tapes 35 and 36 are inserted into and out of the pulleys 37 and 40. 31 is sent out.
[0023]
Therefore, by temporarily storing and feeding out the banknotes in these storage units, the banknotes themselves are reversed between the leading end side during storing and the leading end side during unwinding, and are reversed to the switchback method.
[0024]
The housing 33 is provided with a connector 43 and is connected to the connector 44 on the apparatus main body 1 side.
[0025]
Each of the storage units 27 to 30 is a dedicated motor M. 4 , M 5 , M 6 , M 7 , Sensors, and an independent unit configuration including these control units. Therefore, by connecting with the connectors 43 and 44, conversion with other units is possible. Moreover, the above-mentioned deposit transfer part 4, the banknote withdrawal part 14, and the batch storage part 16 are also unitized, and are connected by the connector similarly to the above.
[0026]
The collective storage section 16 has an inlet / outlet section 49 in which the bill entry and exit are the same as in the storage sections 27 to 30, and the bill movement direction is reversed during storage and delivery. The entry / exit part 49 is connected to the withdrawal / conveyance path 12. Its internal structure is motor M 8 The banknote P is stored in an accumulated state on the stage 45, and a belt 46 for feeding the banknote P is disposed in the upper portion in the horizontal direction. A bill is received or fed out from an inlet / outlet portion 49 through a pulley 47 and a roller 48 below the pulley 47, and the belt 46 is provided with a motor M. 9 Driven by. Accordingly, the collective storage unit 16 also stores the banknotes once and then reverses the banknotes by reversing the banknotes.
[0027]
A switching mechanism 50 that communicates with and does not communicate with the deposit conveyance path 11 and the withdrawal conveyance path 12 at the respective inlet / outlet sections 31, 31... Of the respective storage sections 27 to 30 and the inlet section 49 of the batch storage section 16. Is provided. Reference numeral 51 denotes a switching claw to the shortcut path 52 that connects the deposit conveyance path 11 and the withdrawal conveyance path 12 in the shortest. When the uppermost storage unit 27 is used as a collective temporary retention unit, a temporarily suspended banknote is returned. However, the banknote can be conveyed to the withdrawal unit 14 through the shortest course, or the reject banknote at the time of deposit can be conveyed to the withdrawal unit 14 through the shortest course.
[0028]
The control unit 60 includes a storage unit 61 that stores the denominations and front and back sides of the banknotes identified by the deposit identifying unit 9 and the withdrawal identifying unit 13 in association with the order in which the respective units are stored. When the banknotes are fed out and moved to another storage unit, control is performed to store the banknotes in the corresponding storage units according to the denominations, front and back, and the order stored in the storage unit 61.
[0029]
In FIG. 1, Δ marks indicate sensors for detecting a passage of banknotes and obtaining predetermined signals.
[0030]
Next, the case where the usage method of each said accommodating part is set as shown in FIG. 2 as 1st Embodiment of this invention is demonstrated. That is, the uppermost storage unit 27 is set as a collective temporary storage unit, and the other three storage units 28, 29, and 30 are used as denomination storage units in the order of 10,000 yen storage unit, 5,000 yen storage unit, 1000 The money type is set in the yen storage.
FIG. 3 and FIG. 4 show the flow at the time of deposit / withdrawal and replenishment of the banknotes with bold lines. In the following description, “one side of the front and back” of the banknote in the present invention is abbreviated as “front”, and the “other side” is abbreviated as “back”.
[0031]
FIG. 3 (A) shows a flow until collective temporary hold at the time of deposit. Banknotes inserted into the deposit slot 3 are fed one by one, and the denomination and front and back are identified by the identification unit 9 and the order of transfer. Are stored in the storage unit 61 and sequentially sent to the batch temporary storage unit 27. Note that banknotes or the like whose denomination cannot be specified are returned to the withdrawal port 18 through the shortcut passage 52 as indicated by a dotted line as a reject banknote.
[0032]
When there is a deposit approval instruction after temporary holding, banknotes are paid out one by one from the batch temporary holding unit 27 as shown in FIG. 3 (B), and according to the denominations stored at the time of depositing and the contents of the front and back Classified and stored in the storage unit. That is, for banknotes whose “table” is at the top when depositing, 10,000 yen banknotes are stored in the storage section 28, 5,000 yen banknotes are stored in the storage section 29, and 1000 yen banknotes are stored in the storage section 30. On the other hand, the banknote whose “table” is at the top when depositing is stored in the batch storage unit 16 with all denominations.
[0033]
In the above operation, the banknotes inserted with the “front” of the banknotes into the deposit port 3 in FIG. And stored. At the time of the classification storage of FIG.
[0034]
On the other hand, the banknote inserted in the deposit slot 3 with the “back” of the banknote up in FIG. 3A is wound around the batch temporary storage unit 27 with the “back” side up (outside). 3B, the storage units 28, 29, and 30 are stored in an integrated state with the “back” facing up to the batch storage unit 16.
[0035]
In addition, when there is a deposit non-approval instruction after being temporarily held in the collective temporary hold unit 27, it is returned to the withdrawal port 18 through the shortcut passage 52 as shown in FIG. In this case, since the direct payment from the collective temporary holding unit 27 is directly made to the withdrawal port 18, the front and back are not arranged, and the payment is made in the state at the time of deposit.
[0036]
Further, when the amount of banknotes to be stored in the money type storage unit is larger than the amount that can be stored in the money type storage units 28, 29, and 30, before entering the classification storage operation as shown in FIG. The banknotes in the storage units 28 to 30 corresponding to the above are fed out at least as many as the amount of banknotes to be stored in the storage unit and collected in the batch storage unit 16, and then the classification storage shown in FIG. Since the receipt into the collective storage unit 16 is stored with the “back” side up, the banknotes (payment of money) stored in the collective storage unit 16 at the time of classification storage from the collective temporary storage unit 27 in FIG. Banknotes, sometimes with the “back” on top, and the front and back are stocked and stored.
[0037]
The case of the next withdrawal will be described.
[0038]
FIG. 4 (A) shows the flow of banknotes dispensed from each denomination storage unit 28, 29, 30 based on the withdrawal command, and the banknotes paid out from each storage unit 28, 29, 30 are withdrawn. After being identified through the identification unit 13, all “back” is accumulated on the receiving plate 21 of the dispensing port unit 14. In this case, the back banknotes are sorted to be stored in the batch storage unit 16 instead of being sent to the money type storage units 28, 29, 30 in the case of the classification storage at the time of deposit (shown in FIG. 3B). Therefore, all the banknotes fed out from the storage units 28 to 30 are wound up and stored with the “back” on the top (outside side), so that they are fed into the withdrawal port 14. All gold banknotes will be collected with the “back” on top, and if they are flipped after being removed from the withdrawal slot 18, all “front” will be in the upper state.
[0039]
FIG. 4 (B) shows the flow when the banknotes in the batch storage unit 16 are returned to the storage units 28, 29, and 30 when the storage amount of the banknotes in the denomination storage units 28, 29, and 30 is reduced. The banknotes stored with the “back” in the batch storage unit 16 are fed out and passed through the identification unit 9 and classified into the denomination storage units 28 to 30 corresponding to the identified banknotes. Store. At this time, since the banknotes are fed out with the “back” facing up, each of the storage units 28 to 30 is wound up and stored with the “back” facing the outer surface side. Will be in the same state.
[0040]
FIG. 4 (C) shows a case of replenishing from the deposit port 3. When the bill is inserted into the deposit port 3 with the “table” facing up, the flow of the bills is as shown in FIG. In the same manner as in the case of deposit in B) → classified storage, each is temporarily stored in the collective temporary storage unit 27 ("table" is on the outer surface side), and then, based on the denomination and order stored from the identification unit 9 Classification and replenishment into the money type storage units 28 to 30 (“back” is stored on the outer surface side).
[0041]
When the bill is inserted into the deposit port 3 with the “back” of the banknote up, it is classified directly into the denomination storage units 28, 29, and 30 without being sent to the collective temporary storage unit 27 as shown in FIG. refill. As a result, the “back” is stored in the denomination storage units 28 to 30 with the “back” as the outer surface side as in FIGS. 3B and 4C.
[0042]
Therefore, both the front and back of the banknotes are stored in the same direction in the money type storage units 28, 29, and 30 at the time of deposit and replenishment, and the front and back are not mixed at the time of withdrawal from each storage unit 28-30.
[0043]
FIG. 5 shows a method of using each storage unit according to the second embodiment of the present invention. The uppermost storage unit 27 is a batch temporary storage unit and a storage unit for 5,000 yen bills (a bill with the least amount of use). In addition, the storage units 28 and 29 are used as denomination storage units, and the storage unit 30 for 10,000 yen banknotes (banknotes with the largest amount of use) is set as a denomination for 1000 yen banknotes.
The storage unit 27, which is used as a collective temporary storage unit and a storage unit for 5,000 yen bills, stores 5,000 yen bills close to the center of the rotating drum 34, and collects and temporarily holds the rear side from the storage location. It is used as a part.
[0044]
FIG. 6 (A) shows the flow up to the temporary hold at the time of depositing, the banknotes inserted into the deposit slot 3 are fed one by one and the denomination and front / back are identified by the identification unit 9 and the order of loading. Are stored in the storage unit 61 and sequentially sent to the batch temporary storage unit 27. A bill or the like whose denomination cannot be specified is returned to the withdrawal port 18 through the shortcut passage 52 as indicated by a dotted line as a reject bill.
[0045]
When there is a payment approval instruction after temporary holding, banknotes are paid out one by one from the batch temporary holding unit 27 as shown in FIG. 6B, and according to the denominations stored at the time of payment transfer and the contents of the front and back, The 10,000 yen banknote whose “table” was above when set in the deposit port 3 is distributed and stored to the denomination storage unit 28 or 29, and the thousand yen banknote whose “table” is also above is distributed to the denomination storage unit 30. Stored.
[0046]
The 10,000-thousand and 1,000-yen banknotes with the “back” at the top when set in the deposit port 3 and the 5,000-yen banknotes for which the denomination is not set as the denomination storage unit are all stored regardless of the front and back. Sent to section 16. Therefore, 10,000 yen bills and thousand yen bills are wound and stored in the denomination storage units 28, 29, and 30 with the "back" as the outer surface side, and the collective storage unit 16 stores 10,000 yen and thousand yen bills. “Back” is up and 5,000 yen bills are stored in a mixed state.
[0047]
FIG. 6 (C) shows the flow of withdrawal banknotes when 5,000 yen banknotes are not required for withdrawals, and banknotes (10,000 yen, thousandths necessary for withdrawals from each money type storage unit 28, 29, 30). Yen) is fed out and sent to the withdrawal port 14 through the withdrawal identification unit 13, and all “back” is accumulated on the receiving plate 21, and withdrawal is made from the withdrawal port 18. In addition, as shown in the dotted line, only the corresponding reject banknotes generated at the time of withdrawal are stored in the batch temporary storage unit 27.
[0048]
After the withdrawal process is completed, the reject banknotes in the collective temporary holding unit 27 are returned to the withdrawal port unit 14, collected to the reject collection unit 15, and the withdrawal is performed again.
[0049]
FIG. 6 (D) shows the case of withdrawal including a 5,000 yen banknote. The 5,000 yen banknote is paid out from the collective temporary holding unit 27, and the 10,000 yen and 1,000 yen banknotes are the same as in FIG. 6 (C). It is fed out from the storage portions 28, 29, 30 and accumulated in the withdrawal port portion 14. At this time, when banknotes determined to be rejected by the withdrawal identifying unit 13 are mixed, all banknotes are collected from the withdrawal port 14 to the reject collecting unit 15 as shown by a dotted line, and withdrawn. Try again.
[0050]
FIG. 7A shows a case where the banknotes in the batch storage unit 16 are replenished to the denomination storage units 28, 29, 30 including 5,000 yen of the batch temporary storage unit 27. Since 10,000 yen and 1,000 yen banknotes have the “back” on top, the storage sections 28, 29, and 30 are wound and stored with the “back” on the outer side, and the front and back of the 5000 yen banknotes are 5,000-yen banknotes with “back” in the batch storage unit 16 because they are mixed are stored in the batch temporary storage unit 27, and 5,000-yen bills with “table” on top are rejected. As shown by the dotted line, the banknote is once inserted into the withdrawal port 14 and then collected into the reject collection unit 15. At this time, since the conveyance path partially overlaps, when the 5,000-yen banknote and the reject banknote with the “table” on top are identified by the depositing identification unit 9, the feeding from the batch storage unit 16 is temporarily stopped. The banknotes are collected preferentially.
[0051]
FIGS. 7B to 7D show a case where a 5,000 yen banknote is replenished from the deposit port 3 to the collective temporary holding unit 27. When inserted, as shown in FIG. 7 (B), it is once stored in the batch storage portion 16 (stored with the “back” on top) and then fed out from the batch storage portion 16 as shown in FIG. 7 (C). Store in the batch temporary storage unit 27. Accordingly, in the batch temporary storage unit 27, the “back” is wound with the outer surface side.
[0052]
As shown in FIG. 7D, the 5,000-yen banknote inserted in the deposit port 3 with the “back” facing up is sent directly to the batch temporary storage section 27 as it is, and the “back” is wound on the outer surface side. Taken and stored.
[0053]
Further, the replenishment of the 10,000 yen bill and the thousand yen bill from the deposit port 3 is the same as in the case of the first embodiment, and thus the description thereof is omitted here.
[0054]
In both the first embodiment and the second embodiment, the timing of replenishing banknotes from the collective storage unit 16 to the denomination storage unit or the collective temporary storage unit (5,000 yen) is the amount of banknotes stored in each storage unit. This may be performed when the replenishment command is issued after decreasing, or may be performed whenever distribution and storage of the banknotes of the collective temporary storage unit 27 into each storage unit is completed, and can be set in either case.
[0055]
As a result, the 5,000-yen banknotes in the collective temporary holding unit 27 and the 10,000-yen and thousand-yen banknotes in the denomination storing units 28, 29, and 30 are all wound and stored with the “back” as the outer surface side. In other words, at the time of withdrawal, all banknotes can be thrown out with the same surface aligned.
