【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、写真用ロールフィルムを収容する胴板及びキャップからなるパトローネを組み立てるパトローネ組立装置に関し、特に、胴板を円筒状に丸めた状態で保持する組立チャックを有するパトローネ組立装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
パトローネ組立装置は、擬舟形状に形成された胴板を円筒状に丸め、丸めた胴板の片側端部にキャップを挿入し、キャップを胴板にかしめ、フィルムが巻き取られたスプールを胴板内に収納し、胴板の開放端部にキャップを挿入し、キャップを胴板にかしめてパトローネを組み立てる装置である。パトローネ組立装置においては、装置内の各工程部に胴板を一定の形状を保持したまま搬送するために、胴板を着脱可能に保持する組立チャックを備えている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、従来の組立チャックのように、調整ガイド170によってポート幅53の調整を行なうと、胴板50に用いられる鋼板の性質(スプリングバック量=SB値)のばらつきによってポート幅53に変動が生じ、胴板50の形状が不安定になるといった問題があった。

また、従来の組立チャックでは、稼動速度が高速になると、安定した胴板の保持ができなくなり、上記問題がますます顕著になる。その結果、キャップのかしめを行った時に、キャップ若しくは胴板の変形の原因となる。また、パトローネの形状が真円からの隔たりが起きることで、内部のフイルムに局所的な圧力がかかり、最終製品として挿入されたフイルムの外観にすり傷をつけるといった問題が生じる。さらに、ポート幅やハゼ折り部及びストレート部の端部のズレが規格オーバーとなってパトローネ内に光が侵入し、フィルムが遮光性不良を起こしたりする。

本発明の第1の目的は、高速下においても安定的な保持が可能なパトローネ組立装置を提供することである。

本発明の第2の目的は、高速下においてもパトローネの形状を安定化(均一化)させることができるパトローネ組立装置を提供することである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明の第1の視点においては、写真用ロールフィルムを収容する胴板及びキャップからなるパトローネを組み立てるパトローネ組立装置において、円周の一部を開口部とする円筒状の内面を組み合わせて構成される2つの型部材を有し、前記2つの型部材の一方は、前記円筒状の内面の一端から前記開口部に沿って延在するように平面部を有する形状に形成された部分部材が調節可能に組み合わされて構成され、前記2つの型部材の両内面が互いに円筒状に整合する閉状態と、前記2つの型部材の前記円筒状の内面の中心軸と略平行な端部が互いに離間した開状態と、をとりうるように配設される1又は2以上の組立チャックを備えることを特徴とする。

写真用ロールフィルムを収容する胴板(図2の50)及びキャップからなるパトローネを組み立てるパトローネ組立装置において、円周の一部を開口部とする円筒状の内面(図2の21a、22a)を組み合わせて構成される2つの型部材(図2の21、22)を有し、前記2つの型部材の一方(図2の22)は、前記円筒状の内面(図2の22a)の一端から前記開口部に沿って、延在するように平面部を有する形状に形成された部分部材(図2の22b)とが調節可能に組み合わされて構成され、前記2つの型部材の両内面が互いに略円筒状に整合する閉状態(図3(A))と、前記2つの型部材の前記円筒状の内面の中心軸と略平行な端部が互いに離間した開状態(図3(C))と、をとりうるように配設される1又は2以上の組立チャック(図2の20)を備えることにより、型部材の円筒状面で胴板の円筒状面を押えるとともに、型部材の一方に組み合わされた(固定された)部分部材により胴板のストレート部を押さえることができるため、胴板の外周面全般(フィルム取出し口近傍は除く)を押さえることが可能となり、スプリングバックによるポート幅(ハゼ折り部とストレート部の端部間の幅)の変動を生ずることなく、高速下においても安定的に胴板を保持することができる。

写真用ロールフィルムを収容する胴板(図2の50)及びキャップからなるパトローネを組み立てるパトローネ組立装置において、円周の一部を開口部とする円筒状の内面(図2の21a、22a)を組み合わせて構成される2つの型部材(図2の21、22)を有し、前記2つの型部材の一方(図2の22)は、前記円筒状内面(図2の22a)の一端から前記開口部に沿って、延在するように平面部を有する形状に形成された部分部材(図2の22b)とが調節可能に組み合わされて構成され、前記2つの型部材の他方(図2の21)は、前記円筒状の内面(図2の21a)の一端に、エッジの先端を前記2つの型部材の一方(図2の22)側に向けて配されるエッジ部材(図2の21b)とが組み合わされて構成され、前記2つの型部材の両内面が互いに略円筒状に整合する閉状態(図3(A))と、前記2つの型部材の前記円筒状内面の中心軸と略平行な端部が互いに離間した開状態(図3(C))と、をとりうるように配設され、前記閉状態における横断面において前記中心軸(図2の40)と前記エッジ先端を結ぶ線(図2の42)に対して、前記円筒状内面及び前記平面部の境界線と前記中心軸を結ぶ線(図2の41)のなす角度(図2のθ)が25度以上かつ50度以下である1又は2以上の組立チャック(図2の20)を備えることにより、型部材の円筒状面で胴板の円筒状面を押えるとともに、型部材の他方に組み合わされた(固定された)エッジ部材により胴板のハゼ折り部を押さえ、かつ、型部材の一方に組み合わされた(固定された)部分部材により胴板のストレート部を押さえることができるため、高速下においても、フィルムの引出しトルクと遮光性のバランスがとれたパトローネができる状態(角度θを残した全周で胴板を保持するという状態)で胴板を保持することができる。ここで、角度θが過度に小さいと、フィルムの引出しトルクが大きくなり、カメラでトラブルを起こす原因となる。一方、過度に大きいと、ポートから光が入りやすくなり、遮光性の悪化の原因となる。従って、角度θは25°より大きく50°より小さいことが好ましい。

【実施例】
本発明の実施例1に係るパトローネ組立装置について図面を用いて説明する。図1は、本発明の実施例1に係るパトローネ組立装置の構成を模式的に示した平面図である。図2は、本発明の実施例1に係るパトローネ組立装置における組立チャックの構成を模式的に示したX−X´間(図1参照)の断面図である。図3は、本発明の実施例1に係るパトローネ組立装置における組立チャックの動作を模式的に示した正面図(図1の矢印A方向)である。図4は、本発明の実施例1に係るパトローネ組立装置における組立チャック及び芯金のキャップ挿入時の様子を模式的に示したY−Y´間(図2参照)の断面図である。図5は、本発明の実施例1に係るパトローネ組立装置における芯金及び排出機構部材の構成を模式的に示した斜視図である。なお、図2においては、芯金を省略している。

このパトローネ組立装置は、インデックス手段10と、組立チャック20と、芯金30と、を有する(図1参照)。

インデックス手段10は、胴板を各工程部(胴板挿入部、キャップ挿入部、かしめ部、検出部、良品排出部、残品排出部;図6参照)に搬送するための手段であり、略水平面に対し垂直に配される回転軸11を中心に回転可能とされ、6本の支持部材12を回転軸の周りに等角度間隔、すなわち60°おきに固定する(図1参照)。回転軸11は、インデックス手段を前記角度間隔と等しい角度ピッチで間欠的に回転させる駆動手段(図示せず)と連結している。各支持部材12には、組立チャック20が開閉可能に装着されており、各組立チャック20間には芯金30がその中心軸を略水平でかつ回転軸に向けて装着されている。

組立チャック20は、円筒状に丸められた胴板を保持するための保持部材であり、円周の一部を開口部とする円筒状の内面を組み合わせて構成され、ハゼ側チャック21と、ストレート側チャック22と、を有する(図2参照)。組立チャック20は、胴板のハゼ折り部52を中心軸40の上方(線42の延長上)に向けて保持する。

組立チャック20は、閉状態における横断面において、中心軸40から半径方向に延びる線42と、ストレート側チャックの略円筒面及び平面部(胴板のストレート部に当接する面)の境界線と中心軸を結ぶ線41と、のなす角度θは、実施例1においては約35度である(図2参照)。この角度θは、25°〜50°であればよく、好ましくは30°〜40°である。30°〜40°のときは、引出しトルクと遮光性のバランスがとれ、歩留まりの低下を防止することができる。

芯金30の先端面近傍には、キャップ60を吸着保持するための磁石31が内装されている(図4参照)。芯金30の先端面は、キャップの表面形状に対応したフェイス32を有し、片開きパトローネのキャップ60が磁石31によって吸着保持されることで、高速でインデックス動作が行なわれる時も、片開きパトローネはチャックから飛び出したりせず、安定して保持される。芯金30の先端面には、キャップ挿入装置(図示せず)におけるキャップ挿入用のガイド心棒の凸部70a(キャップの孔を挿通する)が挿入される凹部33を有し、キャップ60をセンタリングしながら胴板50に挿入することができる。ここで、キャップ挿入装置は、胴板を円筒状に丸めた状態で保持した組立チャックが別の停止位置で停止したときに、胴板の片側端部にキャップを挿入する装置である。

次に、キャップが挿入された胴板は、インデックス手段10が1ピッチ回転し別の停止位置で停止したときに、かしめ部5においてかしめ爪90をキャップ60の外周部60a内面側から組立チャックの段部20a側に押し付けて、キャップ60を胴板50にかしめて、片開きパトローネが製造される(図7参照)。このときも、組立チャック20は、開閉動作しない。

次に、製造された片開きパトローネは、インデックス手段10が1ピッチ回転し別の停止位置で停止したときに、検出部6において片開きパトローネに係るキャップと胴板の係合状態が監視され、片開きパトローネが良品か否かが検出される。このときも、組立チャック20は、開閉動作しない。

次に、検出された片開きパトローネは、インデックス手段10が1ピッチ回転し別の停止位置で停止したときに、良品排出部7において組立チャック20が開状態となり、検出部6での検出結果に基づいて、良品に係る片開きパトローネが排出機構部材80で押圧されて外部に排出される(図5参照)。なお、不良品と判断された場合には、不良品に係る片開きパトローネは排出されない。

次に、インデックス手段10が1ピッチ回転し別の停止位置で停止したときには組立チャック20は開状態のままであるが、不良品に係る片開きパトローネが存在する場合は、不良品排出部8において、良品排出部7で排出されなかった片開きパトローネ若しくは残品(キャップのみ、胴板のみ)が排出機構部材80で押圧されて外部に排出される(図5参照)。

次に、インデックス手段10が1ピッチ回転し別の停止位置で停止したときに、空となった組立チャック20に丸め部3で丸められた胴板が挿入され上記動作が繰り返される。また、各工程部の動作は、並行して行なわれ、1ピッチ回転するごとに片開きパトローネができあがってくる。

【発明の効果】
本発明によれば、丸められた胴板のストレート部及び円筒状面を含む胴板の外周面全般を組立チャックで押さえるので、高速下においても、胴板の円筒状面が真円に近い状態で片開きパトローネを組み立てることができる。そのため、形状不良によるフイルムすり傷の発生がほとんどなくなる。

また、組立チャックの閉状態における横断面において中心軸とエッジの先端を結ぶ線に対して、円筒状の内面及び平面部の境界線と中心軸を結ぶ線のなす角度が一定なので、ポート幅の設定が容易になる。そのため、一定のポート幅が得られて、遮光性不良の発生を減少できる。

さらに、ポート幅のズレが防止されることにより、調整にかかるタイムロスがなくなるので、高速下でも安定した保持が可能となる。
