本発明は、毛髪化粧料に関し、更に詳しくは仕上がりの感触及びツヤが良好で、その効果が長期間の連用によっても損なわれない毛髪化粧料に関するものである。

従来、毛髪に柔軟性、湿潤性を付与し、毛髪を保護すると共に感触を向上させる目的で、毛髪化粧料中にコンディショニング剤としてカチオン化セルロース等のカチオン性ポリマーやシロキサン化合物等が広く用いられている。しかしこれらのコンディショニング剤を単独で配合した製品を長期間連用すると、毛髪上に蓄積し、べたつき感、ごわつき感が生じる等の欠点があった。

一方、ふけ、かゆみの防止や、毛髪の保護、保湿等の目的で様々な植物の抽出物やペプチド誘導体などが毛髪化粧料中に配合されている。また、これら植物抽出物やペプチド誘導体などと、上記シロキサン化合物やカチオン性ポリマーなどとを併用することにより、毛髪損傷の抑制や、ぱさつき感を減少させる等の試みがなされているが、やはり長期間の連用により、毛髪のツヤが失われる等の欠点があった。

上記事情において、上記欠点を解消する技術が求められていた。すなわち、本発明の目的は、使用後の髪のまとまりやすさ、しなやかさ、櫛通りがよいこと等の感触の良さ及びツヤの良さ等を満たし、その効果が長期間の連用によっても損なわれない毛髪化粧料を提供することにある。

本発明者は、本発明の目的を達成するために鋭意研究を行った結果、カチオン化ハチミツ誘導体と、25℃において10000mm/s以上の粘度を有するシリコーン化合物とを、含有することを特徴とする毛髪化粧料によって上記欠点が改善されることを見出し、本発明を完成した。

以下、本発明の構成について詳述する。

本発明で用いられるカチオン化ハチミツ誘導体は、ハチミツにカチオン性官能基を導入した構造を有する物質であり、例えばInternational Cosmetic Ingredient Dictionary and Handbookに収載されている「HYDROXYPROPYL TRIMONIUM HONEY」などが挙げられる。該当する成分を含有する商品としては、「HONEYQUAT50」[Arch Personal Care Products,L.P.社(以下ARCH社と略す。)製]の商品名で市販されているもの(固形分を約50%含有)などがあり、好適に使用される。本発明におけるカチオン化ハチミツ誘導体は、使用性を損なわない範囲で十分なコンディショニング効果を与えるために本発明組成物中に0.001〜10質量%(以下%と略す。)配合されることが望ましく、さらに望ましくは0.01〜5%配合される。
