Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a rotary cutter device that is used in a receipt printer, a facsimile printer, or the like and has a partial cutting function.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In general, a receipt printer, a facsimile machine, and the like that use long paper such as receipt paper are provided with a paper cutting device for cutting the paper after printing into an appropriate length on the downstream side in the paper conveyance direction when viewed from the printing unit. There are many things. As an example of such a paper cutting device, a linear plate-shaped movable blade having a length extending over the entire width of the paper is rotated with respect to the fixed blade and meshed like a ridge so that the space between the blade portions can be reduced. There is a rotary cutter device that cuts an object to be cut (for example, a receipt paper). This rotary cutter device realizes reliable cutting of a cutting object while having a simple structure.
[0003]
By the way, for example, when considering the application of such a rotary cutter device to a receipt printer, the receipt paper which is a long paper is not cut into a length that can be easily cut by hand without full cutting (full cutting). In some cases, a partial cut (partial cut) is required to leave a leftover. For example, when two copies of the same content are continuously printed, and the border is partially cut, the function of a stub is provided and used as a meal ticket at a restaurant.
[0004]
Here, an example of a conventional rotary cutter device having a partial cutting function will be described with reference to FIGS. Here, FIG. 5 is an external perspective view schematically showing a conventional rotary cutter device 100. As shown in FIG. 5, a plate-shaped stationary blade 103 having a blade portion 103a and a plate-shaped blade having a blade portion 104a are provided on two opposing side plates 102 of a substantially U-shaped frame 101 of the rotary cutter device 100. The movable blade 104 is pivotally attached to each of the support shafts 105 and 106 at positions shifted from the lateral center. Further, the movable blade 104 is provided with a drive shaft 107 in parallel with the support shaft 106, and the drive shaft 107 passes through a vertically long slot 102 a formed in one side plate 102 and a drive force transmission mechanism ( (Not shown). When the drive shaft 107 is swung in the range of the elongated hole 102 a by the drive force transmission mechanism, the movable blade 104 rotates about the support shaft 106. As the movable blade 104 rotates, the fixed blade 103 is pushed and rotated in one direction. At this time, the coil is attached to the support shaft 105 of the fixed blade 103 and connects the fixed blade 103 and the frame 101. Due to the restoring force of a spring (not shown), the fixed blade 103 has a reaction force in the direction opposite to its rotational direction. Further, since the support shaft 105 of the fixed blade 103 and the support shaft 106 of the movable blade 104 are positioned slightly inclined from the parallel position, there is a V-shape between the fixed blade 103 and the movable blade 104. A cutting object conveyance path A is formed. That is, the V-shaped cutting object conveyance path A gradually moves and becomes smaller due to the rotation of the movable blade 104 and the reaction force of the fixed blade 103, so that each of the blade portions 103a and 104a looks like a ridge. Will be engaged.
[0005]
Further, a step 108 is formed on the upper surface of the movable blade 104 and has a width 108a that is substantially the same as the uncut portion of the receipt paper and gradually becomes deeper from the support shaft 106 side toward the blade portion 104a side. That is, since the blade portion 104a does not exist in the step portion 108, the blade portions 103a and 104a do not mesh with each other like a ridge at the position of the step portion 108 as the movable blade 104 rotates.
[0006]
Next, partial cutting by the rotary cutter device 100 having such a configuration will be described. Here, FIG. 6 is a perspective view partially showing a state of partial cutting in the conventional rotary cutter device 100. As shown in FIG. 6, when the receipt paper P that is a cutting object passes through the cutting object conveyance path A between the blade portions 103 a and 104 a of the fixed blade 103 and the movable blade 104, the receipt paper P When the driving shaft 107 is swung by the driving force transmission mechanism at the predetermined position, cutting (partial cutting) having an uncut portion X corresponding to the width 108a of the step 108 is executed.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the rotary cutter device 100 as described above, the receipt paper P may be twisted in the vicinity of the step 108 of the movable blade 104 when the receipt paper P is cut by the fixed blade 103 and the movable blade 104.
[0008]
Here, FIG. 7 is an explanatory view showing a state of partial cutting in the conventional rotary cutter device 100. As shown in FIG. 7, when the receipt paper P is partially cut by the rotary cutter device 100, the receipt paper P is twisted at an angle θ on the cut side and the uncut side of the receipt paper P. This twist is caused by the fact that the height of the cut side and the uncut side of the receipt paper P changes depending on the depth of the step 108. When twist occurs due to the change in height between the cut side and the uncut side of the receipt paper P cut in this way, as shown in FIG. The damaged part B which becomes will generate | occur | produce. When such a damaged portion B occurs in the receipt paper P, the receipt paper P cannot be cut by hand, and in the worst case, the receipt paper P may not be usable.
[0009]
The objective of this invention is obtaining the rotary cutter apparatus which can prevent the damage of a cutting target object in the case of partial cutting.
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The invention according to claim 1 has a fixed blade and a movable blade that are arranged to face each other via a cutting object path, and the object to be cut by movement of the meshing position of the blade portions with the rotation of the movable blade. In a rotary cutter device having a partial cutting function for forming a cutting residue on the cutting object by a step formed on one surface of the movable blade, the uncut side of the cutting object after partial cutting is supported. A support member is provided so as to extend from the one surface of the movable blade facing the cutting object path to the step.
[0011]
Therefore, the uncut side of the cutting object after partial cutting is supported by a support member provided so as to extend from one surface of the movable blade facing the cutting object path to the cutting side of the cutting object. No twisting due to the difference in height from the uncut side.
[0012]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the rotary cutter device according to the first aspect, the surface of the support member on the cutting object conveyance path side has a curved surface shape.
[0013]
Therefore, since the surface on the cutting object conveyance path side of the support member has a curved surface shape, the cutting object does not contact the support member perpendicularly.
[0014]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. The rotary cutter device of the present embodiment is applied to a rotary cutter device having a partial cutting function. Here, FIG. 1A is an external perspective view schematically showing the rotary cutter device 1, and FIG. 1B is an enlarged perspective view showing a part thereof. As shown in FIG. 1, a plate-like fixed blade 4 having a blade portion 4a and a plate-like shape having a blade portion 5a are provided on two opposing side plates 3 of a substantially U-shaped frame 2 of the rotary cutter device 1. The movable blade 5 is pivotally attached at positions shifted from the center in the short direction by the support shafts 6 and 7, respectively. Further, the movable blade 5 is provided with a drive shaft 8 parallel to the support shaft 7, and the drive shaft 8 passes through a vertically long slot 3 a formed in one side plate 3 to drive force transmission mechanism ( (Not shown). When the drive shaft 8 is swung in the range of the elongated hole 3 a by the drive force transmission mechanism, the movable blade 5 rotates about the support shaft 7. As the movable blade 5 rotates, the fixed blade 4 is pushed and rotated in one direction. At this time, the coil is attached to the support shaft 6 of the fixed blade 4 and connects the fixed blade 4 and the frame 2. Due to the restoring force of a spring (not shown), the fixed blade 4 has a reaction force in the direction opposite to its rotational direction. Further, since the support shaft 6 of the fixed blade 4 and the support shaft 7 of the movable blade 5 are positioned slightly inclined from the parallel position, there is a V-shape between the fixed blade 4 and the movable blade 5. A cutting object conveyance path A is formed. That is, the V-shaped cutting object conveying path A gradually moves and becomes smaller due to the rotation of the movable blade 4 and the reaction force of the fixed blade 5, so that each blade portion 4a, 5a looks like a scissors. Will be engaged.
[0015]
Further, on the upper surface of the movable blade 5, there is formed a step 9 having a width 9a substantially the same as the uncut portion of the receipt paper and gradually deepening from the support shaft 7 side toward the blade portion 5a side. That is, since the blade portion 5a does not exist in the step 9 portion, the blade portions 4a and 5a are not engaged with each other like a ridge at the position of the step 9 as the movable blade 5 rotates.
[0016]
In addition, the wedge-shaped paper support member 10 having a curved surface 10a on the cutting object conveyance path A side using a synthetic resin as a forming material extends from the upper surface on the blade portion 5a side of the movable blade 5 to the upper surface of the step 9. It extends to a partially containing position and is fixed by bonding.
[0017]
Next, partial cutting by the rotary cutter device 1 having such a configuration will be described. Here, FIG. 2 is a perspective view partially showing a state of partial cutting in the rotary cutter device 1, and FIG. 3 is an explanatory view thereof. As shown in FIG. 2, when the receipt paper P that is a cutting object passes through the cutting object conveyance path A between the blade portions 4 a and 5 a of the fixed blade 4 and the movable blade 5, the receipt paper P When the driving shaft 8 (see FIG. 1) is swung by the driving force transmission mechanism at the predetermined position, cutting (partial cutting) having an uncut portion X corresponding to the width 9a of the step 9 is executed. As shown in FIG. 3, when the receipt paper P is partially cut by the rotary cutter device 1, the surface 10a on the cutting object conveyance path A side of the paper support member 10 has a curved shape, so that the receipt paper P Is reliably conveyed along the surface 10a without vertically contacting the paper support member 10, and the uncut side of the receipt paper P is substantially the same height as the side of the receipt paper P cut by the paper support member 10. It is supported by. Therefore, the twist angle θ due to the difference in height between the cut side and the uncut side of the receipt paper P is much smaller than when the paper support member 10 is not provided. As shown in FIG. 4, the leading end portion of the uncut portion X of the receipt paper P is damaged by reducing the twist angle θ between the cut side and the uncut side of the cut receipt paper P. Partial cutting without the need to do so becomes possible.
[0018]
【The invention's effect】
According to the invention of claim 1, by supporting the uncut portion of the cutting object after partial cutting by a support member provided extending from one surface of the movable blade facing the cutting object path to a step, Since the occurrence of twist due to the difference in height between the cutting side and the uncut side of the cutting object is prevented, the cutting object can be prevented from being damaged during partial cutting.
[0019]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the rotary cutter device according to the first aspect, the surface of the support member on the cutting object conveyance path side is curved so that the cutting object is brought into contact with the support member vertically. Therefore, it is possible to reliably convey the object to be cut.
