本発明は、主に、肘掛け付きの椅子において使用され、必要に応じて手荷物等を掛けることが可能な椅子用吊持装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、椅子に吊持装置を設け、必要に応じて手荷物等を掛けることができるものでは、以下、座席の下面に吊持装置を設けられたものとして実開昭５７−４２６５９号公報、また、背凭れの側面に吊持装置を設けられたものとして実開昭５９−３９２４４、及び実公平２−３２１１４号公報、さらに、背凭れの背面に吊持装置を設けられたものとして実開昭６３−５０２４９、及び実公昭５６−９３９７号公報等の考案が知られている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、これらの考案で、座席の下面に吊持装置を設けたものでは、吊持装置が見付けにくかったり、手荷物が床面に触れて汚れたりし、また、背凭れに吊持装置を設けらものでは、ホール等で椅子を並べた時に、前の列の背凭れに掛けた手荷物が後の席に座った人の邪魔になったり、座席間の移動の邪魔になったり、手荷物の掛け外しの際には椅子から立ち上がる必要があった。また、肘掛け付きの椅子であって、肘掛けが片持ちのものは、肘掛けに手荷物を掛けることが可能なものもあるが、椅子の使用者が肘掛けを使う邪魔になったり、肘掛けから手荷物が脱落してしまうといった問題があった。

本発明は、このような従来の欠点を解消し、吊持装置が見付け易い位置に配され、吊持装置に掛けた手荷物が邪魔にならず、手荷物を掛けない時には、通常の肘掛けの外観が維持できるよう、必要に応じて手荷物等を掛けることが可能な椅子用吊持装置を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上述のような問題を解決するために、本発明の椅子用吊持装置は、座席の側部に立設させた肘掛けの肘置材の下面側に吊持部を設け、この吊持部は、前記肘置材の前後方向中間部から回動または摺動により肘掛けの外方へ突出でき、不使用時に肘掛け内に収納されるとともに、収納時に吊持部の外表面が肘掛けの外表面と面一となることを特徴としている。

本発明の椅子用吊持装置は、肘置材の下面側に、吊持部とほぼ同形の凹段部を設け、不使用時にこの凹段部内に吊持部を収納することもできる。

【実施例】
本発明の実施例を図面に基づいて説明する。図２、図３には、図１で示されるような肘掛け付きの椅子１に好適な吊持装置が示されており、肘掛け２のパイプ材３に固定された肘置材４に吊持部８が支軸６により枢着形成されているものである。

肘置材４の肘置面４’には凹段部５が形成されており、この凹段部５の形状は図３に示されるように、吊持部８とほぼ同形、すなわち吊持部８の不使用時、この吊持部８が凹段部５に収納され、この収納時に、吊持部裏面９が肘置材４の肘置面４’と面一となるように構成されている。
