店舗の衣料品売場では、通常、商品の衣服の多くが衣服ハンガに掛けられて吊り下げられている。ハンガに掛けられた衣服は、一目でデザインを確認でき、折り畳んで並べる手間が不要で保管もしやすいが、包装のない状態で吊り下げられていると、売場によっては、周囲の壁や壁紙の接着剤等から発散されるホルムアルデヒドが付着している場合がある。そして、このようなホルムアルデヒドが付着した衣服を抵抗力の弱い乳児や幼児に着用させると、シックハウス症候群を起こすことがある。

以下、図１乃至図５に基づき、この発明の実施形態を説明する。この衣服ハンガは、店舗の子供服売場用のもので、図１および図２に示すように、可撓性を有するプラスチック部材で形成されたハンガ本体が、衣服掛部１とフック２とに分割されており、衣服掛部１に乳児服３を掛けて透明の袋４に収納した状態で、フック２の基端部に設けた係合部５を衣服掛部１の上端部に嵌め込むことにより、フック２を袋４の外側から衣服掛部１に取り付けられるようになっている。
