【従来の技術】
従来、建築用枠体を形成するに、所定断面に成形した上枠や縦枠を各部材毎に用意し、これら枠部材の端部に切り欠き加工を施して各枠同志を嵌合組み付けした後に溶接手段を用いて固定していた。
また、このように嵌合接合しないで各部材毎にその端部を傾斜状に切断加工してその切断面を互いに当接して溶接したりコーナーブロツク等の金具を用いてビスで固定していた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところが上記嵌合組み付けするものにおいては、嵌合のための切り欠き金型が複雑となったり溶接とその仕上げ作業に多大な手間を要していた。また、傾斜状に折断した枠部材同志を互いに当接して枠隅部を形成するものは、接合部において各枠材のズレによる目違いが生じたりするばかりか溶接や金具取り付け手間を要していた。しかも金具等で接合した場合は、その当接が充分になされなかったりして接合部に隙間が生じたり、ねじれ力に対して充分な強度を確保できない恐れもあった。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、これらの課題を解決することを目的としてなされたものであって、建築用金属枠を接合して枠隅部を形成するにあたり、所定断面を有した長尺の金属製枠材に、その見込み面方向に向けてV字状の切り欠き部を設けると共に、見込み面に位置する前記切り欠き端面には所定間隔を存して複数の係止片をそれぞれ交互に対向して一体的に突設してあり、上記金属製枠材をV字状切り欠き部に沿って折曲して切り欠き端面同志を当接し、相互に噛合した上記係止片の先端側を折曲して枠隅部を形成したことを特徴とするものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明に係る建築用金属枠の接合構造の実施の一形態を図面に基づいて説明する。
図1において、1は開口部に取り付けられる金属製枠であって、該金属製枠1は上枠1aと左右の縦枠1b,1bとからなる門型の三方枠2および下枠3とで構成されている。

三方枠2は、鋼板等からなる長尺状の枠材5を折曲して枠隅部4が形成されているものであるが、 枠材5は、図2に示すように見込み面5aと該見込み面5aの両端側からそれぞれ直角に延設した見付け面5b,5bとさらにその先端側を対向するようそれぞれ折曲したリブ5c,5cとからなる断面略コ字状に形成されその長さは左右縦枠1b,1bおよび上枠1a長さに相当する寸法に設定されると共に、三方枠2を形成した際に枠隅部4,4を形成すべく所定位置に切り欠き部6,6が設けられている。該切り欠き部6は図2(B)に示すようにその先端側においてリブ5c,5cを残した状態で枠材5の見付け面5b側から見てV字状に見込み面5a方向に亘って設けられ、その先端角度Rは直角に設定されている。
すなわち、枠材5は、V字状の切り欠き部6によってそれぞれ左右縦枠1b,1bと上枠1aに区画されリブ5cによって一連状に連結された状態となっている。

枠材5に設けた切り欠き部6を挟んで形成された上枠1aを、縦枠1bに対してV字状切り欠き部6先端のリブ5c部で直角に折曲(図4Aの矢印方向)して両切り欠き端面6b,6b同志を当接させると、同時に見込み面5aに位置して対向する切り欠き端面6b,6bからそれぞれ交互に所定間隔を存して一体的に対設した複数の係止片6aの一方が他方の係止片6a,6a間に嵌入されその先端部を互いに突出させた噛合姿勢となり、この状態から縦枠1bの係止片6a先端側を上枠1aの見込み面5a側に、また上枠1aの係止片6a先端側を縦枠1bの見込み面5a側に向けてそれぞれ折曲すれば図5のように枠隅部4が形成される。これによって、切り欠き端面6b,6b同志は係止片6aの先端側での折曲により押圧状となって接合部に隙間が生じることなく接合されることとなる。

なお、上記実施の形態においては枠隅部4を直角にした場合の接合について説明したが、例えば多角形状の枠を形成する場合においてはV字状の切り欠き部6の先端角を変えることにより他の角度としてもよいことは勿論である。

【発明の効果】
本発明によれば、枠隅部を形成するに当たりそれぞれ別部材で構成した枠材同志を接合するものでないからその接合部での目違いによる段差等が生じることが無いばかりか技量と手間を要する溶接手段や接続金具等を用いることなく、一体的に形成した係止片同志を噛合してその先端を折曲するのみで枠隅部を形成することができるので作業能率が向上する。しかも、係止片が噛合した状態で接合固定されるためねじれ力対しても強固な枠隅部を得ることができる。
