この種の空気調和機は、例えば、特開平5ー133541号公報に記載されたものがある。この公報には、吹出枠に複数の風向変更板を備えた空気調和機が示されており、一般的にこのような空気調和機では、上下方向の風向を変えるための風向変更板の軸とモータの軸とを直接つなぎ、モータで風向変更板を回動させることができるように構成されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
前述した空気調和機では、複数の風向変更板を、互いにギアを介して連動させるようにすれば、一つのモータで良い。しかし、互いに連動する複数の風向変更板の他に、これら風向板の奥側に補助風向板を設けた場合において、複数の風向変更板と補助風向板とを独立して回動させるためには複数のモータが必要であり、複数のモータが同一の面になるような配置にすると、これら複数のモータの収納空間が大きくなってしまう。

前記課題を解決するために、本発明は、吹出枠の吹出口付近に、互いにギアを介して連動する複数の風向変更板を配置するとともに、これら複数の風向変更板の奥側に位置して一つの補助風向変更板を配置する構成とし、前記複数の風向変更板を駆動する第1モータを前記吹出枠の側方に配置し、前記補助風向変更板を駆動するための第2モータを、前記第1モータの側方に並べて設け、前記補助風向板の軸と前記第2モータの軸とをそれらの軸とは別の駆動軸を介してつなげたことを特徴とする

【作用】
本発明による空気調和機では、吹出枠の吹出口付近に、互いにギアを介して連動する複数の風向変更板を配置するとともに、これら複数の風向変更板の奥側に位置して一つの補助風向変更板を配置する構成とし、前記複数の風向変更板を駆動する第1モータを前記吹出枠の側方に配置し、前記補助風向変更板を駆動するための第2モータを、前記第1モー タの側方に並べて設け、前記補助風向板の軸と前記第2モータの軸とをそれらの軸とは別の駆動軸を介してつなげた構成であるから、複数の風向変更板を駆動する第 1 モータと補助空気変更板を駆動する第2モータとが、同一平面に取付けられるのではなく、第2モータが、第1モータの側部端より側方の位置で、且つ、重なる位置となるため、第1モータと第2モータとの収納空間を、コンパクトにすることができる。しかも、第2モータと補助風向変更板とを別個の駆動軸でつなげたので、補助風向変更板の軸の寸法を長くする必要はない。

【実施例】
この発明の実施例を図面に基づき説明する。図1において、1は室内機で、室外機(図示せず)と冷媒管や信号線でつながれて分離型空気調和機を構成するものである。2は前面側パネル、3は背面側パネル、4は前面側パネルに回動自在に取付けられる吸込グリルで、吸込口4Aが形成されている。5は吹出口で、この吹出口には風向変更板(横羽根)6が設けられている。30は運転などの状態を示す表示部である。尚、吸込グリル4と前面側パネル2と、背面側パネル3とで外装体が形成されている。

図2において、7は伝熱管内部に冷媒が流される熱交換器で、略への字状に形成されている。8はこの熱交換器に室内空気を通過させ、吹出口から調温された空気を吹出すためのクロスフローファン、10は比較的大きな埃を除去するためのエアフィルタで、吸込グリルが回動されて開かれると露出し、着脱可能となるものである。11は比較的小さな埃や臭気を除去するための空気清浄フィルタ、12は熱交換器からのドレンを受けるためのドレンパンである。尚、空気の吹出し方向を左右方向に変える縦羽根を備えているが、図示しない。

図3、図4において、20は第1モータ、21は第2モータで、この第2モータ21は第1モータ20の側端部より側方の位置であり、且つ、この第1モータ20に重なるように配置されている。尚、これら第1及び第2モータ20,21は、表示部30の背面側に位置している。前記第1モータ20はギアを介して互いに連動する複数の風向変更板6,6のうち、下側の風向変更板6の軸61につながれており、両風向変更板6,6は第3図の省略した部分(左側)でギアにより結合されており、両風向変更板6,6を連動して駆動することができるようになっている。補助風向変更板6Aは前記複数の風向変更板 , の奥側配置されており、この補助風向変更板6Aは駆動軸65を介して第2モータ21の軸につながれている。前記風向変更板6は、主に変更板60と軸61の部分とから構成されており、軸61の部分の寸法は補助風向変更板6Aの軸61Aとほぼ同じ寸法に設定されている。62,63はドレンパン12に取付けられた断熱材、19はドレンパンと一体に合成樹脂で形成された吹出枠である。

このように構成された空気調和機では、第2モータ21が第1モータ20と同一平面に取付けられるのではなく、第1モータ20の側方で、かつ、この第1モータ20に重なるように配置されているので、モータの上下方向の収納スペースをコンパクトにすることができる。このため、室内機の寸法を大きくすることがなく、空気調和機を小型化することができる。

本発明による空気調和機では、吹出枠の吹出口付近に、互いにギアを介して連動する複数の風向変更板を配置するとともに、これら複数の風向変更板の奥側に位置して一つの補助風向変更板を配置する構成とし、前記複数の風向変更板を駆動する第1モータを前記吹出枠の側方に配置し、前記補助風向変更板を駆動するための第2モータを、前記第1モータの側方に並べて設け、前記補助風向板の軸と前記第2モータの軸とをそれらの軸とは別の駆動軸を介してつなげた構成としているので、複数の風向変更板を駆動する第1モータと補助風向変更板を駆動する第2モータとの収納空間を、コンパクトにすることができ、空気調和機を小型化することができる。しかも、補助風向板の軸と前記第2モータの軸とをつなげるための駆動軸を設けたことにより、補助風向変更板の軸を長くする必要がないため、この補助風向変更板をそれほど湾曲させることなく取付けることができ、空気調和機の組立て容易にすることができる。
