パック料の主流として、皮膜形成能を有するポリビニルアルコール、または酢酸ビニル樹脂等を使用したピールオフ型パック料がある。最近は、これらパック料自体を乾燥するか、または上記パック料を不織布、フィルム等に塗布して乾燥することによって、パック料を薄膜状に加工したシート状のパック料が、その速乾性と利便性等から汎用されている。
