【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、車体フレームに固定されて後輪の側方に配置されるサドルバッグステーと、該サドルバッグステーに取付けられるサドルバッグとを備える自動二輪車に関し、特に、サドルバッグの取付け構造の改良に関する。

従来、サドルバッグは、自動二輪車の車体に固定されるのが一般的である。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、自動二輪車の停車状態で、サドルバッグを自動二輪車から取り外して持ち歩くことができれば、便利であるが、従来のものではサドルバッグステーからサドルバッグを取外すのが困難である。このため、サドルバッグを着脱可能としてサドルバッグステーに取付ければよいのであるが、その際、盗難防止を図りつつサドルバッグの着脱操作を容易とすることが望ましい。

本発明は、かかる事情に鑑みてなされたものであり、盗難防止を図りつつサドルバッグをサドルバッグステーに着脱可能に取付け、しかも着脱操作を容易とした自動二輪車におけるサドルバッグの取付け構造を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために、請求項1の発明は、車体フレームに固定されて後輪の側方に配置されるサドルバッグステーと、該サドルバッグステーに取付けられるサドルバッグとを備える自動二輪車において、前記サドルバッグに開閉可能に取付けられる蓋に係止フックが設けられ、キー操作に応じて回動して前記係止フックと係脱可能なレバーを有する単一のキー操作手段がサドルバッグに設けられ、前記サドルバッグステーには、係止軸部が設けられるとともに係止部が設けられ、前記サドルバッグには、前記レバーに連結されて前記キー操作手段のキー操作に応じて前記係止部への係合および係合解除を切換え可能としたロック手段と、前記ロック手段が係止部に係合した状態での係合解除を不能とするとともにロック手段が係止部との係合を解除した状態での係合解除を可能として前記係止軸部に係脱可能に係合する係合部とが設けられ、前記単一のキー操作手段のキー操作により、サドルバッグの取外しの可否の切換えと、蓋の開閉の可否の切換えとを何れも可能としたことを特徴とし、また請求項2の発明は、請求項1の上記構成に加えて、前記キー操作手段は、前記レバーがその回動軸線回りに順に設定した第1〜第3回動位置に回動し得るようキー操作可能であり、前記レバーは、これが第3回動位置と第2回動位置間にあるときは前記係止フックとの係合状態が維持されると共に、第2回動位置から第1回動位置に回動すると該係止フックとの係合状態が解除され、また前記ロック手段は、前記レバーが第1回動位置と第2回動位置間にあるときは前記係止部との係合状態が維持されると共に、第2回動位置から第3回動位置に回動すると該係止部との係合状態が解除されることを特徴とする

請求項1,2の各発明の上記構成によれば、サドルバッグは、サドルバッグステーの係止軸部に係合部を係合するとともにサドルバッグステーの係止部にロック手段を係合させることにより、サドルバッグステーに固定的に取付けられることになる。しかもキー操作手段のキー操作により、係止部との係合を解除するようにロック手段を作動せしめると、係合部および係止軸部の係合を解除することができるので、サドルバッグをサドルバッグステーから容易に取外すことができる。また取外したサドルバッグのサドルバッグステーへの取付けにあたっては、係合部を係止軸部に係合させるとともに係止部にロック手段を係合させればよく、サドルバッグのサドルバッグステーへの取付けも容易である。しかも少なくともサドルバッグの取外し時には、キー操作手段をキー操作することが必要であるので、正規のキーを携帯しなくてはサドルバッグを取外すことができないようにしてサドルバッグの盗難を防止することができる。その上、単一のキー操作手段のキー操作により、サドルバッグの取外しの可否の切換えと、蓋の開閉の可否の切換えとを何れも行うことができ、部品点数を低減することができる。
また特に請求項2の発明の上記構成によれば、キー操作手段のレバーは、これが第3回動位置と第2回動位置間にあるときは蓋側の係止フックとの係合状態が維持されると共に、第2回動位置から第1回動位置に回動すると該係止フックとの係合状態が解除され、またロック手段は、前記レバーが第1回動位置と第2回動位置間にあるときは前記係止部との係合状態が維持されると共に、第2回動位置から第3回動位置に回動すると該係止部との係合状態が解除される。

図7〜図9において、略U字状の係止フック53は支持板54に固着されており、該支持板54が蓋34の内面に固着される。一方、蓋34が閉鎖位置に在るときに前記係止フック53に対応する位置でサドルバッグ33の後部外面には金属板55が当接されており、共働してケース58を構成するケース半体56,57がサドルバッグ33を前記金属板55との間に挟むようにしてサドルバッグ33の内面に当接される。しかもケース半体56,57には複数の溶接ナット59…が固着されており、金属板55の外方側から該金属板55、サドルバッグ33およびケース半体56,57に挿通される複数のねじ部材60…が前記各溶接ナット59…に螺合され、これにより金属板55およびケース半体56,57がサドルバッグ33の表裏両面に固定される。

金属板55には、サドルバッグ33およびケース半体56で挟持されるシリンダボディ62がその外端を金属板55よりも外方に突出させるとともに内端をケース58内に突入するようにして固着される。このシリンダボディ62は、正規のキー63の挿入により回動することを可能としてシリンダボディ62内に挿入されるロータ64と、該ロータ64の内端に固着されたレバー65とともにキー操作手段としてのキーシリンダ錠61を構成するものであり、ロータ64の外端にはキー63を挿入するためのキー孔66が開口される。

サドルバッグ33をサドルバッグステー32に取付けるべくサドルバッグ33をサドルバッグステー32に近接させると、係止部37が係合部材76の当接突部86を押すことにより係合部材76は係止部37を嵌合凹部85に嵌合するようにばね87のばね力に抗して図12の時計方向に回動し、この際、当接突部86は抱持部材77をばね93のばね力に抗して図12の反時計方向すなわちワイヤ94を緩める方向にわずかに回動させつつ乗越え突部91を乗越えることになる。而して当接突部86が乗越え突部91を乗越える位置まで係合部材76が回動することで、係止部37の略半部が嵌合凹部85に嵌合され、抱持部材77は、嵌合凹部85に略半部を嵌合させた係止部37の一部を第1収容凹部89に収容する位置に回動し、係止部37が係合部材76に係合された状態が維持されることになる。

したがってサドルバッグ33は、サドルバッグステー32の係止軸部32aに係合部45を係合するとともにサドルバッグステー32の係止部37にロック手段75を係合させることにより、サドルバッグステー32に固定的に取付けられることになる。しかもキーシリンダ錠61のキー操作により、係止部37との係合を解除するようにロック手段75を作動せしめると、係合部45および係止軸部32aの係合を解除することができるので、サドルバッグ33をサドルバッグステー32から容易に取外すことができる。
