図2は二層エアカーテン方式の多段形オープンショーケースの従来構成図であり、前面開放形ケース本体1の外箱1aと内箱1bとの間には内箱1bを取り囲んで内外二重のインナーダクト2,アウターダクト3(冷気循環ダクト)が画成されており、ケース本体1の前面開口部に向けて上部側にはエアカーテン吹出口2a,3aが、下部側にはエアカーテン吸込口2b,3bが開口している。また、インナーダクト2には冷却器(冷凍機のエバポレータ)4,およびインナーファン5が、またアウターダクト3にはアウターファン6が収設されており、さらにエアカーテン吹出口2a,3aにはハニカム整流体7が組み込まれている。なお、8は商品陳列棚であって内箱2の庫内に上下段に並べて設置されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
かかるオープンショーケースにおいては、庫内温度が低いことから、庫内と庫外の間には蒸気圧差に対応した圧力差が生じ、エアカーテンA,Bが庫内側へ引き込まれる方向に湾曲する。これ現象はドラフト効果と呼ばれる。この場合に、エアカーテンの気流が庫内側に大きく湾曲すると、商品陳列棚8の前縁と干渉してエアカーテンの層流が大きく乱され、これが原因で庫内への熱侵入量が大きくなって保冷性能が低下するほか、冷却器4の着霜量が増加するなどの好ましくない問題が生じる。

なお、ファン5,6の回転数を高めてハニカム整流体7から吹き出すエアカーテンA,Bの風速を上げれば、庫内/庫外間の圧力差から受ける影響も小さくなってエアカーテンA,Bの湾曲度合も少なくなるが、風速が高くなると逆に周囲外気との境界面を通じてエアカーテン気流へ混入する外気の巻き込み量が増えて冷却器4の熱負荷,着霜量が増大する。

本発明は上記の点にかんがみなされたものであり、その目的は前記課題を解決し、ケース本体の開口部にドラフト効果の影響が少なく熱遮へい性能の高い理想的な冷気エアカーテンを吹出し形成できるようにしたオープンショーケースを提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために、本発明によれば、ケース本体の開口部に向けて開口したエアカーテン吹出口に組み込んだハニカム整流体と吹出口のインサイド側壁面との間に風速の速いエアカーテン層を吹出すスリットを形成し、エアカーテン吹出口のインサイド側には、スリットに沿ってエアカーテン吹出し方向に延長したエア吹出ガイドを設けるのがよい。

【作用】
上記の構成で保冷運転時に冷気循環ダクトを通じて冷気をファンにより循環送風すると、ハニカム整流体を組み込んだエアカーテン吹出口の上流側の静圧が高まり、冷気流の一部はインサイド側のスリットを、残りはハニカム整流体を通じてケース本体の開口部に吹出してエアカーテン層を形成する。この場合に、スリットはハニカム整流体に較べて通風抵抗が小さいことから、このスリットから吹き出すエアカーテン層はハニカム整流体から吹き出すエアカーテン層よりも風速よりも速い。したがって、エアカーテン吹出口から吹出し形成されるエアカーテンは、庫内に面するインサイド側で風速が速くその外側で風速が低まるような風速分布を呈する。これにより、エアカーテン全体で見れば、庫内/庫外間の圧力差に起因してエアカーテンが庫内側に引き込まれるように湾曲するドラフト効果の影響が少なく、それだけ商品陳列棚との干渉による層流の乱れが防げるとともに、ハニカム整流体を通じて吹き出すアウトサイド側では風速が低めながら層流をなしているので外気の巻き込みも少なく、その結果としてケース本体の開口部に外気熱侵入の少ないエアカーテンが吹出し形成されることになる。

以下、本発明の実施例を図1(a),(b)で説明する。なお、図1で図2に対応する同一部材には同じ符号を付してその説明を省略する。
図1の構成においては、インナーダクト2のエアカーテン吹出口2aについて、そのインサイド側には吹出口の長手方向に亙ってハニカム整流体7の内側に小幅なスリット9が形成されており、さらに前記スリット9に沿って吹出口のインサイド側開口端にはエアカーテンの吹出し方向に延長したエア吹出ガイド10を備えている。

かかる構成により、ショーケースの保冷運転時には、インナーダクト2,アウターダクト3よりエアカーテン吹出口2a,3aを通じてケース本体1の前面開口部に内外二層のインナーエアカーテンA,およびアウターエアカーテンBが吹出し形成され、このうちインナダクト2のエアカーテン吹出口2aでは、冷気流の一部がスリット9を通じて速い風速で吹き出し、残りがハニカム整流体7を通過して吹き出す。これにより、エアカーテンA,Bの断面における風速分布は、図中に表すように庫内に近いインサイド側で風速が最も高く、アウトサイド側で風速が低まるような分布となる。また、スリット9から速い風速で吹き出す冷気流は、開口端部で乱流を生じることなしにエア吹出ガイド10の板面に沿って層流状態を保ったままエアカーテン吸込口2bに向けて流れる。
