気装置において、前記運転シート下方のアッパーフレー
ムカバーにエプロン部を設け、前記物品収納室の後方で
かつ運転シート下面とエプロン部とで囲まれる隙間によ
り新気導入路を形成し、上記物品収納室に近接した新気
導入路内の前記エプロン部に新気吸入口を設け、この新
気吸入口周辺のエプロン部に上方に向って突出する突起
部を設け、上記新気吸入口と前記エアクリーナの吸気口
との間を接続する接続手段を前記物品収納室の後方に配
設したものである。

【作用】本発明に係るスクータ型車両の吸気装置は、車

納室の後方に配設し、接続手段の通路長を短くして吸気
抵抗を低減させ、清浄な新気をエアクリーナに円滑かつ
スムーズに案内させることができ、エアクリーナのクリ
ーナ機能を損なうことなく、エンジン性能を良好に維持
できる。また、新気吸気口周辺部のアッパーフレームカ
バーのエプロン部に上方に向って突出する突起部を形成
することによって、空気中や、後輪が巻上げる砂埃や泥
水を含まない、より一層清浄な新気がエアクリーナに吸
入可能になる。

置において、 前記運転シート下方のアッパーフレームカバーにエプロ
ン部を設け、 前記物品収納室の後方でかつ運転シート下面とエプロン
部とで囲まれる隙間により新気導入路を形成し、上記物
品収納室に近接した新気導入路内の前記エプロン部に新
気吸入口を設け、 この新気吸入口周辺のエプロン部に上方に向って突出す
る突起部を設け、 上記新気吸入口と前記エアクリーナの吸気口との間を接
続する接続手段を前記物品収納室の後方に配設したこと
