【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、歯科用照明及びモ
ニター装置、より詳細には、白色ＬＥＤを用いて、単一
の装置にて、シャウカステン、無影灯、モニターの複数
の機能を達成し得るようにした歯科照明用及びモニター
装置に関する。

【従来の技術】図２は、本発明が適用される歯科治療ユ
ニットの一例を示す全体構成図で、該歯科治療ユニット
は、治療椅子１、ワークテーブル２、スピットン３、無
影灯４、インスツルメントホルダー５、フットスイッチ
６、アシスタント用インスツルメントホルダー７、シャ
ウカステン（フィルムビュアー）等からなり、インスツ
ルメントホルダー５には、歯科治療において使用する種
々のインスツルメント９が収納されており、周知のよう
に、歯科治療に当り、患者は椅子１に座り、頭を安頭台
に固定して治療を受ける。治療中、術者は治療椅子１を
上下動、倒起動、傾斜動等させて、患者を治療しやすい
姿勢にして治療を行なう。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】上述のように、歯科治
療ユニットには、無影灯やシャウカステン、更には、図
示しないモニター装置等が備えられているが、従来、こ
れらは、各々独立して設けられており、ユニット全体が
複雑になるばかりでなく、コストアップにもなり、ま
た、それぞれが別々の位置にあるため操作性もあまり良
くなかった。
【０００４】本発明は、上述のごとき実情に鑑みてなさ
れたもので、白色（フルカラー）ＬＥＤを用いることに
よって、単一の装置で、シャウカステン、無影灯、モニ
ターの各機能を達成し得るようにしたものである。

【０００６】本発明は、平板状に配設された白色ＬＥＤ
を有し、該白色ＬＥＤは、前記平板面を少なくとも２平
面に分割して、前記シャウカステン照明、無影灯、或い
は、モニターの２以上の機能を同時に実行可能であるこ
と特徴とし、もって、単一の装置により、同時に、２以
上の機能を達成し得るようにしたものである。

【発明の実施の形態】図１は、本発明による歯科用照明
及びモニター装置の一作用例を説明するための図で、図
中、１０は本発明による歯科用照射及びモニター装置
で、該装置１０は、歯科治療ユニットの任意所望の箇所
に移動自在に取り付けられ、その表面には、白色（フル
カラー）ＬＥＤが平板状に配設されており、該白色ＬＥ
Ｄが、その使用目的によって種々使い分れられるように
なっている。図１において、１０1，１０2，１０3，１
０4は、それぞれ本発明による歯科用照明及びモニター
装置１０の使用形態を示す図で、１０1はシャウカステ
ンとして使用した場合、１０2は無影灯として使用した
場合、１０3はモニターとして使用した場合で、これら
は、必要により、任意に切り換えられて使用される。１
０4は本発明の一実施例を示す図で、白色ＬＥＤが配設

装置を用いて複数の機能を同時に達成するようにしてい
るので、歯科治療ユニットの近辺が簡素化され、作業し
やすい環境が得られる。また、ＬＥＤを用いているの
で、発熱が少なく、例えば、無影灯として使用した場合
に、患者に近づけても熱くなく、安全である。また、歯
科技工中等、患者を一時的に待たせておく時に、患者に
