2. Description of the Related Art When a ship piers a structure such as a quay in a harbor or an offshore dolphin, it absorbs and absorbs the kinetic energy of the ship and protects both from damage due to contact impact. Fenders will be installed on the side. Various types and materials are selected for such fenders depending on the application, purpose, etc., and a receiving plate made of metal, resin, or the like is assembled and mounted on the front surface of the fender, that is, on the side in contact with the ship. There are fenders installed.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to such a fender, and since the receiving plate attached to the front surface of the fender has a certain weight, as shown in FIG. The fender 11 has a tendency that the receiving plate 12 side always tends to hang downward. That is, shear deformation occurs in the fender 11. This shearing deformation is designed to reduce the weathering performance by increasing the strain on the surface of the fender, or to reduce the energy absorption capacity of the fender 11 due to compression, so that the shearing deformation is kept as small as possible. Is what is done. However, as the weight of the receiving plate 12 attached to the front surface of the fender 11 increases, the fender 11
Naturally, the shear deformation becomes large. If the shear deformation becomes too large, the designed compression reaction force cannot be obtained, and the function as the fender 11 cannot be provided. In addition, the distortion of the rubber surface is large, which causes cracks. In such a case, that is, in the case where the weight of the receiving plate 12 is increased and the fender 11 is subjected to a shearing deformation exceeding an allowable range, the receiving plate is supported to support the weight and make the shearing deformation within an allowable range. The plate 12 is suspended by a metal chain.

FIG. 5 shows a connection between the receiving plate 12 and the quay 13 by means of a metal chain 14 and lifting of both sides of the receiving plate 12 to correct the shear deformation of the fender 11 within an allowable range. FIG. 6 is a side view, and FIG. 6 is a front view thereof. This metal chain 1
The force acting on the metal chain 14 mainly supports the weight of the receiving plate 12 when the ship is not at shore.
Is not so large. However, the metal chain 14 not only supports the weight of the receiving plate 12, but also plays a major role in maintaining the position of the fenders when the ship comes alongside.

[0005] When the ship S comes alongside, it is normal to start contact with the quay at an angle θ. That is, the ship comes into contact with the receiving plate 12 at an angle θ, and the fender 11 starts to be compressed at an angle θ. This state is shown in FIG. 7, but when the fender 11 is compressed at an angle θ, the metal chain on one side is

Extremely large forces also act on fenders and metal chains.

[Function] In a fender system equipped with a suspension line that supports the weight of a receiving plate attached to the entire surface of the fender, the ship is positioned in front of the ship when the ship makes an inclined berth to the receiving plate. An excessive force acts on the suspension cable on this side, that is, on the suspension cable on this side in order to restrain the displacement on the tension side. The present invention provides a system for greatly reducing the external force acting on such a hanging line, and the hanging lines arranged on the left and right sides of a striking plate attached in front of the fender are provided with one line. The structure is such that it is drawn to the center by a book or a plurality of central ropes. Therefore, even when the ship berths at an angle, the sling lines move relative to each other before a large force acts on the sling lines, so that the sling lines have a large force. Did not work.

[0010] In such a hanging cable, it is possible to use a miniaturized conventional metal chain.
By using a high-strength rope, for example, aramid fiber (Kevlar fiber) having a small elongation, the weight can be reduced, and the installation can be facilitated. In addition, a metal chain, a high-strength rope, and the like are also arbitrarily selected for the central rope.

The present invention will be described in more detail with reference to the following examples. FIG. 1 is a plan view of a fender using the suspension cable of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a side view thereof. In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a fender having a height of 1000 mm and a diameter of 800 m.
m, weight is 600 kg. Reference numeral 2 denotes a receiving plate, to which a receiving plate 2 made of a synthetic resin and attached to the ship side, that is, the front surface of the fender 1 is attached. Of course, this receiving plate 2 may be made of metal. In this example, the receiving plate 2 has a width of 1600 mm and a weight of 1000 kg. The fender 1 has a rear surface attached to the quay 3, and an anchor (not shown) embedded in the quay 3.
Mounted with bolts. The mounting portion of the suspension cable is provided at a position 100 mm from both sides of the receiving plate 2.

In the drawing, reference numerals 4 1 and 4 2 denote the above-mentioned (metal) suspension ropes, which are attached to the left and right suspension rope attachment portions of the receiving plate 2 with the fender 1 interposed therebetween. I have. The suspension lines 4 1 and 4 2 support the receiving plate 2 as described above, and the fender 1 due to the weight of the receiving plate 2.
To prevent the shear deformation of. The length L of the left and right suspension cables 4 1 , 4 2 in the present invention is set to be longer than the distance L 0 between the receiving plate 2 and the quay wall 3 for bringing the fender 1 into a normal posture. . That is, the hanging rope 4 1 having this relationship,
When connecting between the quay 3 and the receiving plate 2 at 42,
Since the length L of the suspension cables 4 1 and 4 2 is longer than the distance L 0 at which the fender 1 is brought into the normal posture, the receiving plate attached to the entire surface of the fender falls down. However, the present invention is drawn to the center of the excess length by the slings 4 1, 4 2 at the center cord 4 0 as in FIG. 1, it is intended to revise the position of the impact receiving plate as in FIG.

As described above, the suspension cable according to the present invention does not exert a large tensile force as in the prior art at the time of the shore sloping against the fender of the ship. Thus, the weight of the hanging cable is reduced, and the handling is simplified.

In the case of the fender 1 according to this example, when the load applied to one hanging cable is calculated by both the prior art and the present invention, the load Tw of the ship S when it is not docked, the vertical Table 1 shows the results when the load Ts due to the motion and the load Tb due to the slope berthing (10 degrees) are used. In the present invention, the length (L) of the suspension cable does not necessarily need to absorb all of the tensile strain ε generated when the shore is inclined. That is, since the suspension cable is selected so as to correspond to the load Ts due to the vertical movement of the ship, the load Tb generated by the inclined shore is T.
The length may be equal to or less than s.

As described above, in the case of using the hanging cable of the present invention, even if the berthing is at an angle, the left and right hanging cables are formed by the central cable, The forces are distributed to the suspension lines, so that the forces acting on the suspension lines against the pulling side at an angled berth need not be taken into account at all.

According to the fender using the suspension cable according to the present invention, even if the ship berths at an angle, the suspension cables on both sides are connected by a central suspension cable, and two suspension cables are always provided. The force is dispersed by the suspension cable, the strength is relatively small, and the size can be significantly reduced. Further, since the force acting on the hanging cable is greatly reduced, it is possible to sufficiently cope with a rope or the like without using a metal chain, and it is possible to reduce the cost and weight.
